"Wagons roll"

After a few more minutes, the opening scene with the tractor in the field with the starring character began to seem familiar to me

The scenes a short while later with Hugo Wainwright and the other mimics was completely forgotten to me

Then I noted that premiere date is familiar to me, although I didn't recognize it right off. Perhaps "The Expanse" caused me to forget about "Childhood's End" because my conscious mind was overloaded by the visuals of "The Expanse"

Yesterday, thoughts formed in my conscious mind about a subject and that I was trying to find a place for in my notes somewhere that I post. I could imagine Sniffin' Joe Biden in his Ivory Tower sitting around hearing from his minions about my blog and telling them that no one there was going to admit anything about Thomas Reagan in the 1960s - which they know is true - because after that fantastic truth became public then people would stop trusting the government.

Tenure and Recent Reappointment and Promotion Decisions

By RICHARD A. LESTER

Questions have been raised about the criteria applied and the procedures used in the evaluation of assistant professors at Princeton and about decisions concerning reappointment and promotion of some assistant professors this year. It is evident that the subject needs to be clarified and put in the proper perspective and that the procedures for faculty review of the performance, and for reappointment and promotion, of assistant professors need to be more fully understood.

Academic tenure was designed to protect faculty, who have established themselves as competent teacher-scholars, from dismissal because their findings and teaching might be considered dangerous to society. The protective rights of tenure are normally granted after a limited period of "apprenticeship" during which junior faculty demonstrate to mature scholars a standard of professional competence that warrants a permanent appointment.

Princeton aspires to be an outstanding university in terms of both the education it offers and its contributions to the advancement of knowledge.
