I read this again yesterday and I was thinking that it is different from when I read it a few months ago. I don't remember this part about the 2 F-15s taking off with the 8 F-16s. The top of the page indicates the last change was on June 5th, but I thought I read it after that.

At 1255 GMT on Sunday 7 June 1981, eight Israeli F-16 fighter-bombers take off along with two F-15 interceptors from Etzion air force base in Egypt's Sinai Desert (occupied at the time by Israel).
A number of other F-15s head elsewhere in Iraq as back-up.

The Left Handers Club
In 1989 a we undertook a major survey of our customers to determine their degree of left-handedness and allow them to put their views and experiences. From the enormous response to this Survey, it became clear that many left-handers wanted a forum to discuss aspects of left-handedness on a continuing basis.
To meet this need, the Left-Handers Club was formed in 1990. The Left-Handers Club aims to keep members in touch with developments, make their views known to manufacturers and others, provide a help and advice line, to promote research into left-handedness and development of new left-handed items.
Since its formation the Club has gone from strength to strength with members all over the world and is highly regarded as the foremost pressure group and advice centre on all aspects of left-handedness. Most notably, campaigns by the Left-Handers Club have been responsible for:
The modification of potentially dangerous hand-held power tools by a major manufacturer
The introduction of left-handed cheque books by all major banks in the U.K.
The production of the only training video for teachers & parents of left-handed children to show the best way to assist them in attaining the vital basic skills of handwriting, cutting etc. without difficulty or discomfort.
On 13th August 1992 the Club launched International Left-Handers Day, an annual event when left-handers everywhere can celebrate their sinistrality and increase public awareness of the advantages and disadvantages of being left-handed. This event is now celebrated worldwide, and in the U.K. alone there were over 20 regional events to mark the day in 2001- including left-v-right sports matches, a left-handed tea party, pubs using left-handed corkscrews where patrons drank and played pub games with the left hand only, and nationwide “Lefty Zones” where left-handers creativity, adaptability and sporting prowess were celebrated, whilst right-handers were encouraged to try out everyday left-handed objects to see just how awkward it can feel using the wrong equipment!
These events have contributed more than anything else to the general awareness of the difficulties and frustrations left-handers experience in everyday life, and have successfully led to improved product design and greater consideration of our needs by the right-handed majority – although there is still a long way to go!!

The Mikoyan MiG-29 (NATO reporting name: "Fulcrum") is a fourth-generation jet fighter aircraft designed in the Soviet Union. Developed by the Mikoyan design bureau as an air superiority fighter during the 1970s, the MiG-29, along with the larger Sukhoi Su-27, was developed to counter new American fighters such as the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle, and the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon.
Operational history
The Soviet Union exported MiG-29s to several countries. Because 4th-generation fighter jets require the pilots to have extensive training, air-defense infrastructure, and constant maintenance and upgrades, MiG-29s have had mixed operational history with different air forces.
Iraq
Iraq received a number of MiG-29 fighters, and used MiG-29s to engage Iranian equivalent opponents like F-14, F-4 and F-5 during the later stages of the Iran-Iraq War. In addition to MiG-29s, the Iraqi Air Force used Soviet-made fighters such as the MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-25, Su-22, Su-24, Su-25, MiG-27, bombers such as the Soviet-made Tu-22, and other multi-role aircraft

Scars
Lately I have also started to understand that scars on my body are not what I remember.
There is the scar on my hand that I used to think was from scraping it on concrete one night when I was drunk and could not drive so I had to go through a bad neighborhood while walking to my apartment 7 miles away from the bar I had been at. I have started thinking that the reality is that I was tortured as a POW and the scar is from someone using a power drill on my hand.
The scar on my right wrist isn't the burn I recieved from someone dropping hot apple pie on it when I was a kid in a day care center, rather...I'm not really sure what it is. I have been thinking it is a shrapnel wound from anti-aircraft artillery.

Simon Marius (January 20, 1573 - December 26, 1624)
Simon Mayr (Latinized Marius) was born in Gunzenhausen, Bavaria, on January 20, 1573. In 1586, he joined the Margrave of Ansbach's Capella and school. He was in the capella for three years, and in the school until 1801, when he was 26 years old. In the following, he went to Prague to join Tycho Brahe's establishment, and after Tycho's death, was enrolled in Padua University to study medicine. In 1605 he return to Ansbach without degree and became Mathematician and Physician to the new Margraves, Christian and Joachim Ernst, a position he held for the rest of his life. Marius died in Ansbach on December 26, 1624.
His earliest astronomical activities include observations of a comet in 1596 and of Kepler's supernova in 1604. In 1608 he learned of telescopes and started to acquire the skills of producing one (like Galileo). Apparently, he independently discovered Jupiter's Moons (despite Galileo's claim of a plagiary, which had some evidence because it seems that he had already helped Capra in Padua to plagiate Galileo's note describing the use of compass), and proposed the names they have since. His credibility is also not enhanced by the fact that he improved his funds from astrology.
Moreover, Marius found (independently rediscovered) the "Nebula in the Girdle of Andromeda", actually the Andromeda Galaxy (M31), on December 15, 1612, and was the first to observe it with a (very moderate) telescope; he described it as looking like a "flame seen through horn" (Marius 1614). He was not aware that this object had been seen previously by medieval Persian astronomers, and described by Al Sufi as early as 964 AD.

The Andromeda Flame
On December 15, 1612, astronomer Simon Marius [Mayr or Mayer] became the first modern observer to locate and describe the Andromeda galaxy. Telescopy being in its infancy, however, he detailed how its shape to his eye appeared like that of a candle flame. The technology did not allow the optical resolution required to differentiate the blur he saw as individual stars.
Although he did not understand the workings of the solar system, Marius made some good observations for his day. He made many observations about the same time as Galileo who was convinced Marius was plagiarizing his work. More likely, given the era, they worked on observations available to them by the telescopy of the time. No Twitter or Facebook to announce to the world who had just made what observation.
However it happened, Jupiter’s four moons are known today as named by Marius – Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. He also recorded a more accurate period of revolution for each than Galileo.
