Corrupted public officials have good reason to be afraid of me.

June 1 - Napster debuts.

JOURNAL ARCHIVE: Re: NAPSters

Fri, 6/23/06 2:30 PM

This reminds me of a promotional CD between Microsoft and Napster that I got when I worked there, it may have been a program for Microsoft employees. I remember asking Bill Bevan something about if he knew the company policy about downloading music from unauthorized sources. I seem to remember thinking he looked surprised when I asked him that question. Another time I mentioned to him an idea I had about tracking network bandwidth usage per employee.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naval_Academy_Preparatory_School

The Naval Academy Preparatory School, or NAPS is the preparatory school for the United States Naval Academy

The students are called by their rank midshipman candidates or cadet candidates, depending on whether they are bound for the Naval or Coast Guard Academies. However, all are informally known as NAPSters.

Shawn Fanning along with volunteer Sean Parker first released the original Napster in June of 1999 while Fanning was attending Northeastern University in Boston.

Also, reading about the Naval Academy Preparatory School being at some place with the name Bainbridge, reminds me of something I have associated with my half-brother, Kevin. He was a nuclear-qualified Machinists Mate and I was thinking that he was stationed aboard the USS Bainbridge, a cruiser with nuclear propulsion. But looking at photos of that ship, I don't think I have that correct. It seems like he was on that one cruiser with the weird superstructure. I can't remember the name. It may have been California, but I'm not certain. Need to look it up.

Route 5. This was on the anniversary of the day in 1968 when I think I became the first air combat ace of the Vietnam War. The term 'ace' is used to describe a military pilot that has had 5 or more successful combat engagements. This incident also occurred on Lovell, Maine, which reminds me of Jim Lovell.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_ace

A flying ace or fighter ace is a military aviator credited with shooting down five or more enemy aircraft during aerial combat.

The term "ace in a day" is used to designate a fighter pilot who has shot down five or more airplanes in a single day. The most notable is Hans-Joachim Marseille of Germany, who was credited with downing 17 Allied fighters in just three sorties over North Africa on September 1, 1942, during World War II. Numerous other Luftwaffe pilots also claimed the title during World War II.

On December 5, 1941, the leading Australian ace of World War II. Clive Caldwell, destroyed five German aircraft in the space of a few minutes, also in North Africa. He received two Distinguished Flying Crosses for the feat.

During World War II, 68 US pilots — 43 US Army Air Forces, 18 US Navy, and seven US Marine Corps — were credited the feat, including David McCampbell, who claimed seven Japanese planes shot down on June 19, 1944 (during the "Marianas Turkey Shoot"), and nine in a single mission on October 24, 1944. Others included Joe Foss, Chuck Yeager and Oscar Francis Perdomo, the last US "ace in a day".[citation needed]

Other pilots to have claimed "ace in a day" status during World War II include Antoni Glowacki of Poland, during the Battle of Britain.

Only 5 days off from being a perfect match with the launch of Apollo 8. Something to do with Phoebe's lines in "Gremlins"?

Bryan E. Smith (July 16, 1957 – September 21, 2000) was the driver of the vehicle which hit the author Stephen King on June 19, 1999. He was brought before a grand jury and was indicted on two counts: driving to endanger and aggravated assault. He said that he was distracted by his dog, which was loose in the van. [1] [2] He pleaded guilty to driving to endanger, the lesser charge, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment (sentence suspended), and had his driver's license suspended for a year (he had nearly a dozen previous infractions on record). In an interview with Dateline NBC on November 1st, 1999, Stephen King had commented that "There isn't really anything that he's got that I want except his license. Unfortunately that's a paper that's very hard to get away from anybody in any state."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_8

Apollo 8 was the second manned mission of the Apollo space program, in which Commander Frank Borman, Command Module Pilot James Lovell and Lunar Module Pilot William Anders became the first humans to orbit around the Moon. It was also the first manned launch of the Saturn V rocket.

NASA prepared for the mission in only four months. The hardware involved had only been used a few times—the Saturn V had launched only twice before, and the Apollo spacecraft had only just finished its first manned mission, Apollo 7. However, the success of the mission paved the way for the successful completion of U.S. President John F. Kennedy's goal of landing on the Moon before the end of the decade.

After launching on December 21, 1968, the crew took three days to travel to the Moon, which they orbited for 20 hours. While in lunar orbit the crew made a Christmas Eve television broadcast in which they read from the book of Genesis. It was the most watched broadcast to date.

Missions Gemini 7, Gemini 12, Apollo 8, Apollo 13

James 'Jim' Arthur Lovell, Jr., Captain, USN, Ret. (born March 25, 1928) is a former NASA astronaut, most famous as the commander of Apollo 13, which suffered an explosion enroute to the Moon but was brought back safely to Earth by the efforts of the crew and mission control. Lovell was also the command module pilot of Apollo 8, the first Apollo mission to enter lunar orbit. Lovell is a recipient of the Congressional Space Medal of Honor and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

This illustrates why Microsoft hired Steve Ballmer and why he was hired on that specific date. I have found strong clues that suggest I became the first air combat ace of the Vietnam War on 6/19/1968 and that I first landed on the planet Mars on 1/21/1976. These calculations listed below represent an effort by Microsoft Corporation to pirate my identity, of which there is tremendous commercial value.

Steven Anthony Ballmer (born March 24, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American businessman and has been the chief executive officer of Microsoft Corporation since January 2000.

After graduating from Harvard with degrees in mathematics and economics, Ballmer worked for two years at Procter & Gamble as an assistant product manager before enrolling in Stanford Graduate School of Business to get a Master of Business Administration degree. He dropped out of Stanford a year later when Bill Gates persuaded him to work at Microsoft. Ballmer became Microsoft's 24th employee on June 11, 1980, the first business manager hired by Gates.

Ballmer has headed several divisions within Microsoft, including Operating Systems Development, Operations, and Sales and Support. In July 1998, he was promoted to president, and on January 13, 2000, he was named chief executive officer when Gates stepped down from that position.

According to information on the internet, the pilot of space shuttle flight STS-68 is 3410 days older than me. I was 3396 days old on 6/19/1968, which is the date on U.S. Navy Lt. Lassen's Medal of Honor citation. It is a difference of 14 days, which is pretty damn good considering this is based on the pilot of the space shuttle. I assume NASA asked me if I wanted to schedule this flight to associate with my identity and the schedule represents calculations I made personally, as with the others that follow.

From 10/31/1949 to 3/3/1959 is: 3410 days
From 3/3/1959 to 6/19/1968 is: 3396 days
3410 - 3396 = 14 days

Terrence Wade Wilcutt (born 31 October 1949) is an American astronaut and a veteran of four space shuttle missions.

If the objective was to select a pilot for space shuttle flight STS-93 to connect me with 6/19/1968, then this calculation is only off by 3 days. This result seems more likely than would a lot of calculations that have perfect results. The reason it would be so hard to get perfect matches is that you have to find people that have to necessary skills, in the first place, to do the job, and the job in this case is the pilot of the space shuttle. This was his first space shuttle flight so that would add weight to the possibility he was assigned specifically to connect me with 6/19/1968.

From 6/16/1954 to 6/19/1968 is: 5117 days
5117 * 0.3359 = 1718

1721 - 1718 = 3
