"Lisa's Wedding"

This ship with the Royal Navy was commissioned on a date that might point back to my 17th birthday. I have made some other observations about that date and I think it had something to do with how we thought my mission to divert the comet had turned into a one-way trip because I hit a meteor storm after leaving the planet Mars and lost a lot of oxygen. I pressed on to my objective and successfully diverted the comet in July 1976 and went from there to the Jupiter moon Callisto where I found a source of oxygen.

Commissioned: 28 July 1976

HMS Arrow (F173) was a Type 21 frigate of the Royal Navy. She was completed with Exocet launchers in 'B' position.

Arrow participated in the Falklands War, where on 4 May 1982 she assisted in extinguishing the fires and evacuating the crew of the Type 42 destroyer Sheffield, which had been struck by an Exocet missile. Arrow also helped extinguish the fires on the Whitby-class frigate Plymouth, on 8 June 1982.

[2F15] Lisa's Wedding

In the car, Hugh covers his eyes and screams while Homer yells, "So, this driving on the left makes you feel more at home, huh, Hugh?"

At Moe's, the 1500 channel cable has Kent Brockman reading the news for CNNBCBS (a division of ABC).

Kent: [on TV] And tonight, the following celebrities have been arrested -- [a list scrolls by] -- while Heather Locklear-Fortensky remains at large. Remember, if you see any celebrities, consider them dangerous.

Hugh: You know, I rather like this pub.

Moe: Oho, an English boy, huh? You know, we saved your ass in World War II.

Hugh: Yeah, well, we saved _your_ arse in World War III.

Moe: [conciliatory] That's true.
