I still don't know precisely what happened on 5/28/1982 but I see that date show up in certain places. It also seems important but my long-term memory is so jumbled that I don't know what it means. I think it has something to do with the official graduation date, or something like that, for the U.S. Naval Academy Class of 1982.
I am also wondering if that date of capture was U.S. time or local time, as her capture was 1 day from being a 4 year, 3.59 months connection to 12/7/1998. The attack on the USS Cole DDG-67 was 334 days before the Pentagon and World Trade Center was attacked on 9/11/2001. The date 9/11/2001 was 33 months, 4 days, after 12/7/1998, the date Microsoft arranged as my first day of employment at Microsoft. The employee identification number they assigned to me that day, which was also when Bill Gates declared that the U.S. government was out to destroy Microsoft, also features prominently in one of the aircraft that was hijacked on 9/11/2001, among the many other details I have noted.

Jessica Dawn Lynch (born April 26, 1983 in Palestine, West Virginia) is a former Quartermaster Corps Private First Class (PFC) in the United States Army. Lynch became famous after her widely publicized recovery by U.S. special operations forces. Jessica Lynch, then a 19-year-old supply clerk with the 507th Maintenance Company (based in Fort Bliss, Texas), was injured and captured by Iraqi forces[13] after her group made a wrong turn and was subsequently ambushed on March 23, 2003 near Nasiriyah, a major crossing point over the Euphrates River northwest of Basra. The actress who portrays "Amy Masters," the younger sister of "Doug Masters," in "Iron Eagle" was 5.93 years old when "Gremlins" premiered. At least, I think she portrays "Amy." I haven't been able to find any where in the movie where his younger sister is called "Amy" and I realized later I was just assuming that was her. Looking the photos of her, that I guess are fairly recent, I can see a resemblance and I feel certain she is the same actress. I also found myself puzzling over why I wrote in my journal that her character was named "May" instead of "Amy."
