That's the first time I heard "season"

That takes a lot of air out of their sails.

But this is really brilliant. I'm sitting here thinking about how I'm really almost too drunk to really be thinking about this.

I have been thinking for a while that "Wayward Pines" would be a good book for the winter if an extended period of power outage occurs, if I could figure out on amazon.com which edition is the beginning.

I have lived here on the east side of Washington State for only two winters, with the last winter very boring, but the past 14 winters extremely boring in the Seattle suburbs and then the lifetime of winters in southern Arkansas and then South Carolina before here in Washington State have left me with an appreciation of unpredictable winter weather, especially considering my life as an 19 year old United States Navy sailor in the unimaginable world of the State of Maine in the winter of 1984.

Oh, and I was thinking at first after the 9 PM episode began that they are sell outs. But they quickly turned my thinking. That does't happen very often.

BUT THEN just before 10 PM in the last few seconds of tonight's new episode there was clearly text about "finale" so that makes no sense.

And anyway, earlier tonight they showed an promotion for the new "X Files" television series. I have read about it before but this was the first time I have seen anything about it on television. Not sure if I will watch when it premieres. I am mildly bemused I saw it today considering what else I observed and recorded earlier today and went back through my blog. I really do not think I have ever before actually watched a single instance of an "X Files" episode".

Does it have a name? Earth.
