Battlestar Galactica

Makes sense that I was personally calling the shots on those productions back then. After all these years I have struggled to understand why there is so much similarity. Only in recent weeks has a sensible explanation become obvious to my conscious awareness. I've have had it backwards all these years.

And I can sense the future. There is a quietness in my mind that tells me the future. I just have figure out how to concentrate harder to hear that information. Usually I am consciously rejecting it, just as I am rejecting in my mind now the advice that I am still going to still be here in the future and I really really really hate being here.

And I must be doing that again. I talk here about trying to concentrate on figuring out how to predict the future - BECAUSE I WANT TO USE THAT TO MY ADVANTAGE! - but in fact I am non-consciously restricting my power. Unconsciously I do not want to use my power for personal gain. And I really really really hate being here.

Don't tell me what I can't say.

Someone asked me recently what it was that finally became intolerable about working at Microsoft, what was that "straw that broke the camel's back."

It was having something important to say and being told by a senior manager to watch what I say. That was the final straw.

No one tells me to be quiet when I have something important to say and so I quit, all the while thinking they would eventually take my complaints seriously.

Several years ago, while an employee of Microsoft, my manager showed me a pornographic video. I was in a performance review meeting with Kirk Tavener and I gave him details about the compensation increases that I was requesting. His immediate response was to show me a video where a guy was asking for sexual favors. The title of the video was “Priceless.”

I want to know why this happened to me. I still have not received a satisfactory answer from Microsoft. I have tried very hard to get Microsoft management to take this issue seriously. The only conclusion I can reach is that advancement at Microsoft is not based on merit, but rather on secret favors. I can only conclude that the incident with Kirk Tavener was standard operating procedure with Microsoft management and was no anomaly.

I want to know when I can expect to receive an answer. I want to know how much more damage to my personal and professional life I will have to suffer through as a result of that incident.

I want a full accounting of the investigation Microsoft conducted, or did not conduct. I want to know every single detail that was compiled on this issue. I want every single detail about this issue that Microsoft is keeping from me.

I want to know why Microsoft was watching me at work with hidden cameras. I want to know why people at Microsoft were gossiping about my personal life. I want to know why Microsoft was spying on my personal life as well as in my home. I want to know when it will end. I want to know when I will get my life back.

The writings of our gods instructed us how to construct many of their devices. We use them to protect our sacred ground.

MITCHELL
Speaking of gods, I know this is probably taboo, but I need to talk to your boss. That visitor you had yesterday. I'm assuming it's not the first time he's been here. I've met their kind before. They're bad news. Look, I'll do any crazy training exercise you want…within reason.

Apollo: Uh-uh, can't do it. We need the pilots. Besides, if I scratched everyone who...popped off at the chief, the cooks would be flying the missions.

Starbuck: Son of a bitch. Did you get all that? You happy?

Apollo: Come on. Come on, walk away. Walk away.

Kelso: We were never trained for crowd control. First order of business when under attack is defend yourself and your squad.

Biers: But these were civilians.

Kelso: I have ten stitches that say we were under attack. The truth is, it was a command frak-up the moment Tigh put us on that supply ship. I'm not surprised someone's trying to take out that drunk son of a bitch.

Palladino: All right, private. Belay that.

Biers: Colonel Tigh's been threatened?

Palladino: No, this interview's over. Shut that off.
