The notion here in this movie, I assume, is that "Joseph" is Phoebe's father and it explores how I liked Phoebe's mother when Phoebe and I were kids. When Bruce Willis walks into the bedroom where "Mike Matthews" is hiding in the closet, he refers to that puppet on the bed as "Furry Tom." Later, his daughter, portrayed by an actress with a distinct connection to when I landed on the Saturn moon Phoebe, calls out the name "Tommy" when she is sleeping. She also wants to go out on a date with "Tommy." There is a scene where Bruce Willis comments that his daughter likes "Prince" and then Damon Wayans makes a similar gesture in front of his face as did the guy hiding in the closet, and I thought it was curious how the camera frame lingered on Bruce Willis smiling after Damon Wayans made that gesture. You would assume that Bruce Willis was referring to the musician Prince, but was he actually making that reference?
