I am not certain how long I was asleep before waking up a few hours ago. I might have been asleep for more than 8 hours or I might have just had another long nap as I did a few hours before I fell asleep that last time. I know I was asleep in my clothes both times but I've been asleep for more than 8 hours in clothes so I don't know. Anyway, the dream just before I awoke seemed to be something about Apollo 11. In the dream, I was walking on Neil Armstrong's farm although how I knew it was his farm I do not know and I remember that I was the only person in the dream but there was a sense of someone telling me information in the dream and I could not see that person. As I was just writing that last sentence, the thought occurred to me that I am dreaming of hearing another person communicate to me through the speaker in my spacesuit helmet. So in the dream, I did not recognize any specific idenitfying details of my dream although I might have seen a building in the direction I had walked from that resembles a building near here. I also remember that after I awoke, I was thinking most about how it seemed important that I could not remember the details leading up to my walk onto Neil Armstrong's farm and I was puzzling over how that seemed something I wished I could remember but I could not. In the few hours after waking up, I am also thinking that Neil Armstrong's farm actually represents that I was walking along the Apollo 11 landing site and that the landing site is referred as Neil Armstrong's landing site because he was the mission commander. In the dream, I could clearly see my feet, and after waking, I am thinking that I was wearing that white lunar space suit although that is not so clear and it was not lunar dust that I was plodding through but a heavy dusting of snow on the ground. After I awoke though, I am certain that I was dreaming of walking through the layer of powdered dirt on thelunar surface. So after that, I am not really certain what happens next but I was still listening to someone talking and I also think I might have been dreaming memories of times I imagined when Neil Armstrong was describing watching me walk on the lunar surface. I only have a very vague sense of seeing myself walking on the Moon and I only have the sense of that detail from the dream. Towards the end of the dream, I was leaving that farm and I could see myself walking towards the gate and I was looking at a small wire that was used to fasten the gate and I have also pondered over how there was a large structure to my right that was some kind of wall structure but all I can visualize from the dream is from my peripheral vision as I was looking at the gate. Also, before I was walking towards the gate, and as I think back, I must have been on the other side of that large structure, as though I had walked around it, there was some kind of dialog going onabout me going to a place in the distance, and in the opposite direction where I had come from, to get some food. I guess it was a fast food place but I do not recognize any identifying details about it. It was a long ways away but I could see it vaguely in my dream. I guess I was again dreaming in the context of imagination, in that during my dream, I was imagining the place I was going to go to. But the problem was that I was carrying a rifle and I did not want to go in there carrying that rifle even though, according to details I remember from the dream, there really was not any problem with me carrying that rifle any where I wanted to go. In the dream though, I just did not want to carry a rifle to that location. At the time of this dialog or what ever it was, I seemed to be standing in the same place I had been while walking through the lunar dust or snow or whatever it was. With the direction I had come from to my left side, I looked forward and Iwas pondering over leaving the rifle in some wooded area where there seemed to be creek but that I could not see but there seemed to be some dialog where I told someone I did not want to leave my rifle back there because I was concerned someone might find it and take it. So that seemed to be the point where I was leaving the farm and I was walking to some where that I do not remember now and I am not certain if my destination was established in the dream. I do remember there seemed to be some kind of dialog where, I guess Neil Armstrong, was commenting about how I had just moved into that place next door without being told. After being awake for a while, I am thinking that has something to do with me moving into this place named Vermont and that has some bearing on how the state of Vermont is next to the state of New York. After that, I saw myself at the gate and I was looking at a small wire that held the gate closed and I have been thinking since Iawoke that the wire is actually symbolic of how there is a hidden microphone in here somewhere and there have been hidden microphones in every place I have lived since being out here.

I just woke up a few minutes ago from I guess about 5 or 6 hours of sleep. I still feel exhausted. I am now wondering of the series of scenes and images in one dream was actually a representation of my flight into space as the commander of the first space shuttle launch.

There dream, though, seemed to be set on the USS Oliver Hazard Perry FFG-7. I am not certain how I linked that setting to FFG-7 but I am certain I was on a FFG-7 class ship and the notion lingers in my mind that it was the FFG-7.
In a somewhat confusing part, I walked out of a room with two people in it, where a junior person was getting a medal, for someone reason, as I was looking on, onto the weatherdeck. The person who had got the medal, which was a medal I can visualize but that I do not recognize, followed out onto the deck, I think. I can still visualize the calm blue water and also looking out onto the shore and the sky line of some city we were near but that I cannot recognize either after waking up. I do remember that I commented to the other person that I enjoyed being back out to sea, and I feel compelled to note that I might have said to him that I enjoyed especially being out to sea when we we just floating around, as we were then. Then, for some strange reason, I was over the edge of the deck and I was hanging onto the low railing, trying to keep myself from falling over into the water. But the gravity was strange and that might be why that part seems weird, in retrospect of the dream. I almost want to say that my feet were drifting upwards instead of downwards towards the ocean. I cannot remember what happened next. On one hand, it seems understand that I was hanging onto that railing but I am also somewhat baffled, as I ponder the dream after waking up, why I was even hanging from that railing in the first place.
In another dream sequence, I was on small boat and that sequence is, I think, connected to that first sequence about FFG-7. It seems we had taken a small boat closer to shore but I cannot remember any details to support that notion. I can still visualize some of the scenery but I do not understand it all very well. I do remember another small boat passing us by and I am quite certain that Camilla, Duchess of York, was on it. There is some other detail associated with that observation that I cannot now remember. I can remember there were other people on the boat with her and I assume Prince Charles was there also. Back on my boat, I was talking about some kind of cove that was in the lake or ocean we were on and there seemed to be something important about that cove, in that I wanted to go in there but I don't think we did in that dream. I remember I was trying to describe certain details of that cove to the other person as they would see it while approaching the cove. At another point, I told someone that I could not remember when I learned to swim. I made some other comments on that topic that I do not remember now.
I also remember something, vaguely, about Iceland, maybe. Something related to flying aircraft. Perhaps I was stationed at some point as a pilot in Iceland. I remember hearing some comments about someone's skills as an aircraft pilot. I remember something about looking at an aircraft runway and seeing the remains of the de-icer material they use. This all seemed to happen as I was sitting on the boat and I could actually see those other locations, such as the runway and the office, while I was in another far away location. That might be the result of remembering a past experience while having a dream. Something like that. A memory within a memory. I also remember sitting there in that boat that I was holding some kind of award plaque but I cannot remember what was writting on that award plaque. I think the award plaque had been given to Jim Lovell but I am not certain what that means. I can still visualize certain words on it but I cannot remember enough to describe those words. I remember that some letters were missing in the words.

The Queen has sent out her first official email, thanking young people around the world for helping to celebrate 60 years of the Commonwealth.
The recipients, who are all under 30 years old, had responded to an invitation to write a blog about their lives, and what being part of the Commonwealth means to them.
"I have read with interest your accounts of a typical day in your own country, which remind me of what we share across the Commonwealth, even as our daily lives may be very different", the Queen wrote.
"I am heartened by your messages to see that the special spirit of the Commonwealth is alive and well among so many talented and enthusiastic young people, and send you all my congratulations and good wishes for the future. Elizabeth R."
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said: "The Queen thought it would be a good idea to respond to the children online because that is the way they communicate."
The Queen sent her first electronic message on March 26, 1976, during a visit to an army base.
She is known to send private emails to family and friends but this is the first time she has emailed members of the public.

Ross Bodine and Frank Post are cowhands on Walt Buckman's R-Bar-R ranch. Bodine is older and broods a bit about how he will get along when he's too old to cowboy. Post is young and rambunctious and ambitious for a better life than wrangling cows. When one of their fellow cowboys is killed in a corral accident, Post suggests a way into a better life for himself and his friend: robbing a bank. Bodine reluctantly joins in the plan and the two contrive to rob the local bank. They make good their escape initially, but Walt Buckman and his two sons, John and Paul, are incensed at this betrayal by their own trusted employees. John and Paul set out to bring Bodine and Post to justice.

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the world's largest and highest-energy particle accelerator. It is expected to address some of the most fundamental questions of physics, advancing humanity's understanding of the deepest laws of nature.
The LHC lies in a tunnel 27 kilometres (17 mi) in circumference, as much as 175 metres (574 ft) beneath the Franco-Swiss border near Geneva, Switzerland. This synchrotron is designed to collide opposing particle beams of either protons at an energy of 7 teraelectronvolts (1.12 microjoules) per particle, or lead nuclei at an energy of 574 TeV (92.0 µJ) per nucleus. The term hadron refers to particles composed of quarks.
The Large Hadron Collider was built by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) with the intention of testing various predictions of high-energy physics, including the existence of the hypothesized Higgs boson and of the large family of new particles predicted by supersymmetry.
Once or twice a day, as the protons are accelerated from 450 GeV to 7 TeV, the field of the superconducting dipole magnets will be increased from 0.54 to 8.3 teslas (T). The protons will each have an energy of 7 TeV, giving a total collision energy of 14 TeV.

Confederate scouts Sgt. Joseph Pardine and Dauger are scouting the Union forces but can't hear anything. Paradine is contemptuous of Dauger, who is tired of the war. they have a report that the Union forces will be arriving at a nearby town and as they go over their orders, they hear the sound of horseback riders. However, when the riders arrive in town the noise stops. Paradine prepares to enter the town but Dauger suggests they surrender. The sergeant slaps him contemptuously and goes in on his own. Paradine rides into the town and sneaks around. He comes across a troop of Union soldiers... frozen solid. He wonders if they're sick or wounded but can get no response and no answer.
Paradine moves through the town and hears a vase fall from a window. He goes over and finds an old man with a book hiding in the house. The old man, Teal, explains that he used his book on witchcraft to put all of the Union troops to sleep. Paradine doesn't believe him and the old man paralyzes him with a spell, then explains that he is a sorcerer man and invoked the Prince of Darkness to paralyze the troops when they came into town and the other citizens fled. Once he has Paradine's attention, Teal frees him from the spell and boasts that he can immobilize the entire Union army. However, he knows he'll be dead before the end of the day and he needs someone else to cast the spell. Teal thinks Paradine is the man but the sergeant wonders at the cost. The old man admits that they'll have to join forces with the Devil himself.
Paradine returns to the camp and explains to the commanding lieutenant that the Union platoon is paralyzed. The lieutenant thinks he's insane but Paradine informs him that he cast a spell on a nearby troop of Union soldiers. The Confederate patrol leader, Mallory, returns and confirms that the Union soldiers were frozen solid. Paradine notes that they're running low on food and guns and Satan may be their only option. The other men consider it and Dauger says to go ahead and do it. Paradine starts to read but comes to the part saying to revoke God. When Paradine hesitates, Dauger and the lieutenant insist that he go ahead but Paradine refuses, saying it'll be the Confederacy that is damned. Realizing what it will cost them, Paradine burns the book.

Directed by Roger Corman from a script by Ray Russell and Robert Dillon, X stars Ray Milland as Dr. James Xavier. A world renowned scientist, Dr. Xavier experiments with X-ray vision and things go horribly wrong.
Dr. Xavier develops eyedrops intended to increase the range of human vision, allowing one to see beyond the "visible" spectrum into the ultraviolet and x-ray wavelengths and beyond. Believing that testing on animals and volunteers will produce uselessly subjective observations, he begins testing the drops on himself.
Initially, Xavier discovers that he can see though people's clothing, and he uses his vision to save a young girl whose medical problem was misdiagnosed. Over time and with continued use of the drops, Xavier's visual capacity increases and his ability to control it decreases. Eventually he can no longer see the world in human terms, but only in forms of lights and textures that his brain is unable to fully comprehend.
