BATTLESTAR GALACTICA

3X20 - CROSSROADS (2)

Original Airdate (SciFi): 25-MAR-2007

Roslin: It must've been particularly difficult for you. What, you just... couldn't get the other two guys to budge? [He meets her eyes] You voted for his acquittal, didn't you?

Adama: I hate to say it. Defense made their case, the prosecution didn't.

Roslin: Gaius Baltar is a traitor. We both know that. Regardless of the outcome of this trial.

Adama: No one's asking anyone to forget. Or to forgive. But we have to look to the future. [She stalks off.] Mr. Gaeta.

Gaeta: Yes, Sir.

Adama: Commence jump prep. We're going to the Ionian Nebula.

Gaeta: Yes, Sir.

(Gaius carries his box of stuff through the corridors.)

Pilot, slamming him: Excuse me.

I am quite certain that today as I watch the episode on DVD is the first time I have watched the 2/3/2006 premiere of the "Battlestar Galactica" episode "Scar." I remember nothing about this episode. I did not remember anything about the previous episode. I knew there was a time when I could not watch this series and this must have been it. I was living in that Pioneer Square homeless shelter and there was only one small television on the floor and I cannot remember what I was doing then but this must have been a time when I could not follow the episodes. I suspect that I might have been able to watch it sometimes but that was rare. I also might be confused about seeing previews for episodes and that might be confusing me about having watched the episode when it premiered. I probably did not get to start watching them regularly until I moved into Vermont Inn-Apartments in December 2006 and I am not certain, until I get to those DVD's if I started watching the series again at that point or sometime in the following weeks.

I know with absolute certainty as I now the episode on DVD that I have never before until now watched the 2/24/2006 episode titled "Downloaded" from the "Battlestar Galactica" television series.

Having now watched almost the full episode of DVD of the 3/3/2006 "Lay Down Your Burdens - Part 1" from the "Battlestar Galactica" television series I feel certain that I did watch this episode. But I cannot remember when I watched it, whether when it premiered or later as a rebroadcast. I have been thinking for the past few days that someone in that homeless shelter might have made certain to have that episode tuned in to the homeless shelter television so I would watch it, considering how Katie made a comment in the afternoon about how I had been walking outside, which was after I came back from that park and saw the USS Momsen in the bay.

JOURNAL ARCHIVE: 07/15/10 2:26 PM
As I watch the episode I think about how I remember probably more of it than I would have seen simply from previews of the episode. I also think of how I don't remember preview details from the episodes I had definitely not seen until I just recently watched those episodes on DVD. I might have remembered some details from previews but nothing close to the specific details from five or six scenes of this episode. I find myself thinking I might have not really been that interested in this episode because I had missed so many in the past and I guess I did not want to get interested in it because I had no idea when I would see another episode.

JOURNAL ARCHIVE: 07/15/10 3:24 PM
I have definitely not seen the 3/10/2006 season finale episode. I have watched just over 20 minutes now and I do not recall a single detail about the episode.

JOURNAL ARCHIVE: 07/15/10 3:28 PM
But then I just watched the scene in the brig as Dean Stockwell talks about how the war heroes have swung opinion onto their side and that does seem familiar as though I had watched that dialog before.

That's what they're doing. My wife and I have to stay apart for so long in order to determine scientifically if my immunity, in the context of the Jupiter moon Callisto, has been permanently transfered to her too.

3X12 - RAPTURE (2)

Original Airdate (SciFi): 21-JAN-2007

Galactica: CIC

Adama: I think the Chief is right. I think the nova does look like the mandala inside of this Temple.

Roslin: Do you think the Thirteenth Tribe had a vision of what was to come?

Chief: I don't know what else it could mean.

Tigh: Maybe they saw another nova, and drew a picture of that. You've seen one nova, you've seen them all.

Gaeta: well, There was another nova. (Spreading out a map): Seen 4,000 years ago, around about when the Temple might have been built. It's 13,000 light years from our present position. It's a cloud of gas known as the Ionian Nebula.

Adama: Maybe it was a road sign... showing the direction that they headed to next.

From 5/21/1945 ( Richard Hatch ) To 12/21/1970 ( I was primary United States Navy test pilot for the Grumman F-14 Tomcat first flight and for the United States Navy F-14 Tomcat fighter jet program ) is 9345 days

I think the line of thought about

started with that woman was going to take me there by aircraft. I even imagined that she was going to pilot an F-14 Tomcat with me in the backseat and land at a nearby airport and then drive to

where I would then write the numbers down on the pavement. The reason for the Tomcat is because that line of thought considered that I needed to get out there to

as fast as possible. I cannot recall if there was ever any specific reason for why I needed to get there as fast as possible. I remember thinking that after I got there, there was no real feedback as to why I needed to get there so fast. I simply got there as fast as possible, recorded the numbers, which were apparently visible to people in the real world, and then I guess that was when

Dr. Rutledge: Source Code is not time travel. Rather, Source Code is time re-assignment. It gives us access to a parallel reality.

Timecop (1994)

You all remember|Dr. Hans Kleindast...
the Nobel Laureate who helped us|during the space program?
For 20 years...
he's been keeping his face|off of Time magazine doing research.
His field of research|has been time travel.
- Time travel.|- Time travel.
- Well, beam me up, Scotty.|- That's very funny, Senator.
- Wanna know what's funnier than that?|- He's gonna tell us.
The funny thing is...|the good doctor actually did it.
I thought that'd|get your attention.
He did it. The technology is|in the folders in front of you.
You won't understand it|any better than I can.
Now, you can't go forward,|because the future hasn't happened yet.
However, you can go back,|and that's where things get tricky.
If you go back and change something,|it's serious. It could be catastrophic.
It's like throwing|a stone in a lake...
only now there|are ripples in time.

My sense of paranormal insight is amazing. I am again left to wonder if I can sense the future before it happens, and thus I am not entirely aware that I am sensing the future because I do not want to affect the future by revealing that I know the future, or if I am the recipient of another intelligent being as though my mind is some kind of node on some kind of telepathic information channel and that information conveyed to me is knowledge of what the bad guys are planning to do around me in the future and then for the same reason as the other option, I am not entirely aware of the reason for my new found knowledge because to reveal that I know the future would keep these opossums from revealing themselves and their treachery targeted at me personally.
