Hillary Clinton embarks on N.Y. quest

WASHINGTON - Hillary Rodham Clinton launched her campaign Tuesday for a Senate seat from New York.
By creating a campaign exploratory committee, Clinton may raise and spend money for political travel, polling and ads.
A campaign Web site, www.hillary2000.org, was set to debut this morning to coincide with the start of her New York swing. The site will feature Clinton's columns, speeches, and information on how to volunteer or contribute to her campaign.
Clinton's advisers on Tuesday hand-delivered the filing to the Federal Election Commission notifying of the formation of her exploratory committee.
