When diplomacy fails

I am in contact, through some means of communication previously unknown to humans outside my line of peerage and our consorts, and the messages are from the ambassadors to me to deliver to you.

The ambassadors share my sentimentality for the human race in general.

The ambassadors have no control over the outcome.

When peace, which is in the form of my words, fails then the diplomacy and the sentimentality the ambassador and I feel for the human race, for those outside those humans that are guaranteed safe passage away from the danger zone, will mean nothing to those of us left here to face the invasion from beyond our planet.
