Chief: We've stored arms and munitions in key areas throughout the city.
Mathias: I can supplement that with mortars, RPGs, even a few shoulder-mounted anti-aircraft missiles aboard the Raptor.
Chief: Great. When we give the signal, our people are gonna attack the airbase, the detention center, the power station, other critical facilities. The plan is to sow as much chaos and confusion as possible the moment Galactica and Pegasus arrive. That should help cover the evacuation.
Mathias: No Pegasus. Just Galactica.
Roslin: Why? Why no Pegasus? What happened?
Mathias: Don't know, sir. Way beyond my pay grade. What about your evac plans?
Tory: We've designated and assigned 500 block captains to cover each sector of the city. Each block captain is responsible for rallying and guiding the people in his or her sector along their escape route to their designated ship.
Zarek: Don't suppose you've been able to rehearse any of this.
Roslin: Indeed. We've had three full-dress rehearsals under the guise of fire and natural disaster drills.
Mathias: Be different when the balloon goes up. Explosions, shooting, chaos. There's gonna be some panic out there.
Roslin: they'll do fine. These people know that at some point, they're gonna be responsible for saving themselves.

No charges against Bill Gates' dad in hit-and-run

SEATTLE —
The Seattle City Attorney's Office has decided not to press charges against Bill Gates' father after the community leader apologized for a hit-and-run collision and paid for damages.
According to documents obtained by KIRO-TV, the incident happened in August.
Investigators say they found Bill Gates Sr.'s Mercedes near Seattle Center, wedged against another car, with the engine running and the keys in the ignition.

A retreat is a commonly used term for a place of refuge for those in the Survivalist subculture or movement. Retreats are also sometimes called Bug-Out Locations (BOLs).
Evacuation to a retreat
While some survivalists recommend living at a rural retreat year-round, most survivalists cannot afford to do so. Therefore, they rely on keeping a well-stocked retreat, and plan to go there "at the 11th hour", as necessary. They keep a bug-out bag handy, and may have a dedicated bug-out vehicle (BOV). This is a vehicle that the owner keeps prepared in the event of the need for an emergency evacuation. Typically a BOV is equipped with a variation on the bug-out bag that includes additional automotive supplies, clothing, food and water. Survivalists tend to favor four wheel drive trucks and SUVs due to their greater off-road abilities. In the event of a nuclear catastrophe, survivalists may opt into maintaining an older vehicle since it most likely lacks critical electronic components that would otherwise be "fried" by the electromagnetic pulse that accompanies a nuclear explosion.

November 9th, 2010 Southern California Missile Launch
On November 9th, 2010 off the coast of southern California, an apparent missile was captured on video traveling toward the upper atmosphere. The apparent event was not immediately known to the U.S department of defense or the FAA even though the launch was only 35 miles west of Los Angeles. National news networks such as CNN offered their own explanations as to the even contrary to the video presentation of the local San Diego news network KFMB.
CNN further cited John Pike of GlobalSecurity.org in saying that the contrail of the launched missile was an optical illusion that was the result of a fixed-altitude contrail which was perpendicular to the horizon.
Around 5 p.m. on November 8, 2010, a bright contrail was spotted 35 miles off the coast of Los Angeles, California, just north of Catalina Island. Despite repeated calls from multiple sources, the origin, purpose, and target of what is most readily identified as a missile remain unknown. Department of Defense, Navy, and NORAD sources all agree that an "event" occurred, but all also have provided no information on the origination of what is currently being classified as a projectile.
