Where are we, Tom? Are we arguing in the past? I find myself sitting here with a burst of a profound sense of how trivial is this issue. We have such a tremendous power and I am sitting around every day and I feel that I am locked in to something really trivial, Tom. I understand that such attention to trivial detail can be a worthy cause but I am now sitting here thinking we have passed that point. What I miss is that sense of the profound I had several minutes ago that led me to start writing this note and that has largely passed now.
