(a) Charges and Specifications.— Charges and specifications against an accused in a military commission under this chapter shall be signed by a person subject to chapter 47 of this title under oath before a commissioned officer of the armed forces authorized to administer oaths and shall state—

Did I not note that incident about Kerry Burgess being shot in the shoulder by gunfire from a fugitive in 1993? I can't find it in my journal. I could have sworn I recorded those thoughts. I thought it over extensively several weeks ago.

I guess not. I could have sworn that I wrote about how the scene of Wesley Snipes characters firing a shot at that one US Marshal who is later killed in that 1998 film made me think of that line of thought. I was standing in that lobby and the fugitive came back down the stairwells and I saw his legs and I knew he had a gun but I could not recognize him and we fired about the same time and I killed him while he hit me in the shoulder. I could have sworn I recorded in my journal about being transported out in the ambulance.

Now I just remembered the scene from the recent "NCIS" episode and I think of the similarities of that gunfire scene. But the fugitive was at the top of the stairs and that fugitive hit Kerry Burgess by gunfire but Kerry Burgess killed the fugitive by his return gunfire.

Damn, my left shoulder has really started hurting the past hour or longer. It is something that is close to my shoulder, actually, but under the clavicle and the pain in on my back to, about where the shoulder blade would be. The pain is almost bad enough that I cannot really move my left arm, although it is not that bad. The feeling may be closer to a muscle spasm in the area of my left shoulder blade.

I have not had any similar aches and pains as this problem with my shoulder, which still lingers slightly, in a long time. The funny part about this is that in the days leading up to this observation, over the span of several hours during two days, as best I recall, I was experiencing an extensive line of thought about Kerry Burgess having returned. The real Kerry Burgess and not me pretending and lying about being Kerry Burgess and lying because I do not have any alternative except to maintain this identity and who can prove anyway that I am not Kerry Burgess?

City leaders support moving forward with deep bore tunnel project
SEATTLE – Today, the Seattle City Council voted unanimously to approve a Memorandum of Agreement between the Washington Department of Transportation and the city, authorizing both parties to move forward with the Alaskan Way Viaduct deep bored tunnel and Seawall Replacement.
This agreement marks the fourth in a series of contracts for the project. In September, the Council approved three contracts with the state that authorized more than $480 million in state funds to be used for reconfiguring the south portion of the Viaduct.
“We’ve reached agreement with the state and we will continue moving forward,” said Councilmember Jan Drago

The Dharma Initiative, also written DHARMA (Department of Heuristics and Research on Material Applications), was a fictional research project featured in the television series Lost.
Research stations
The Dharma Initiative placed nine (known) research stations around the Island, which take the form of hidden, underground facilities or bunkers. After Oceanic Flight 815 crashes on the Island in September 2004, the survivors encounter several of these stations. The first to be discovered is "The Swan" which they refer to informally as "the hatch". Nine additional stations have since been visited over the series, each with its own particular logo associated with it: an octagon, similar to the bagua design, with a differing symbol at the center.
Station 6: The Orchid
Introduced in the three-part finale of the fourth season, "There's No Place Like Home", the Orchid station appears at first to be an abandoned greenhouse. Hidden below the greenhouse is a second level of the station, a furnished laboratory similar to the Swan station. The Orchid features a small chamber adjacent to an exotic matter anomaly, which can be used to warp time and space. An outtake from the orientation film was shown at the 2007 San Diego Comic-Con, where Doctor Edgar Halliwax explains that, contrary to Dharma's statements that the station was for botanical research, the station is used for researching a "Casimir effect" exhibited by the Island. The producers have confirmed that the video is canon, and holds relevance to the show itself.
Below the Orchid station is a room which consists of pillars and stones with unknown hieroglyphs that have been seen in a few other places on the Island, and ends with a room consisting of a giant frozen wheel built horizontally into the wall. As shown in "This Place is Death", the chamber was in place well before the construction of the Orchid. A well was connected to it at one point before the Orchid was built, but the chamber itself predates it. Despite being under the Orchid, it has nothing to do with the DHARMA Initiative, nor did any member of DHARMA ever set foot in the room or touch the wheel. Ben and Locke enter the station and Ben travels to this room, where he turns the wheel. As he pushes it, the gap containing the wheel glows and the Island vanishes. Ben is transported to the Tunisian Desert as a consequence of using it. As a result of turning the wheel, the survivors of Flight 815 and the freighter crew members on the Island (who are all
candidates to replace Jacob) begin to jump randomly through time. When Locke returns to the wheel in "This Place is Death", it is shown to be bouncing erratically and still glowing. Locke turns the wheel back to its original position, transporting himself off the Island to the same place Ben ended up. The time jumps also stop, stranding the survivors in 1974. Charles Widmore would later tell Locke that the Tunisian Desert is the "exit point" for anyone who uses the wheel.
In a flashback in "Because You Left", Dr. Chang is called to investigate an incident at the Orchid. A construction worker is shown bleeding from his eyes and mouth, and six drill bits have been melted drilling into the future site of the chamber. Scans of the wall reveal the presence of another chamber with a wheel behind it. Chang refuses to use explosives to clear the wall, since it might release a limitless energy source.

Rick takes Morgan and Duane into the gun room to get some guns. Duane asks if he can learn how to shoot. Morgan says that he has to learn how to respect a weapon. Rick warns Duane to never pull the trigger unless he means it. Rick hands Morgan a Remington 700 with a scope on the end and says that he can use this to try and shoot.
Back home, Morgan and Duane work. Morgan nails the door shut and Duane reads his comic book. Morgan tells Duane to stay downstairs and he walks upstairs. Morgan pulls out his photo albums and looks at several pictures of his wife before this disaster happened. He hangs one of them on the wall and he takes the Remington 700 that Rick handed him. Morgan whistles to one of the walkers and he fires at him. The sight is accurate and he nails it right in the head. Duane gets scared, but Morgan tells him that everything will be fine and tells him to stay downstairs. Morgan shoots another one through the head

He looks over and sees a man walking down the street. Rick stares at him in confusion and starts to motion for him to come over. We also see someone coming up behind Rick. He turns around to take a shovel to the face. A boy, Duane, has hit Rick and yells for his father that he got one. Rick calls Duane by the name of Carl thinking that it's his son. Duane's father, Morgan, runs over and shoots the other man in the head. Duane says he got him, but Morgan says that he heard him talking. Duane says the man called him Carl. Morgan says that they don't talk, but then notices the bandage. He asks Rick why he's wearing it. Rick doesn't respond, and Morgan threatens to kill him if he doesn't tell him. Rick passes out.
Rick wakes up in a house and Morgan says he changed the bandage because it had been on for awhile. He asks how he got it. Rick says a gunshot. Morgan asks if that's it, and Rick asks why a gunshot isn't enough. Morgan yells for Rick to answer the question honestly like common courtesy. Morgan asks Rick if he got bit or scratched. Rescuers scrambled Friday to dig out 34 copper mine workers trapped nearly 1,000 feet (300 meters) below ground after a tunnel caved in.
Authorities were hopeful the miners managed to reach an underground shelter that contains oxygen, food and other supplies after the collapse Thursday afternoon at the San Jose mine in northern Chile.
A day later, however, attempts to contact them through chimneys and vents have been unsuccessful.
Labor Minister Camila Merino said the shelter has enough oxygen to last the workers two more days - though other miners said there was only enough for another 24 hours.
Rescuers were able to descend only about 200 feet (64 meters) into the mine, and were forced to pause the rescue effort for hours while they waited for heavy digging and other special equipment to be brought in.

The hijacking of Southern Airways Flight 49 occurred on November 10, 1972. Melvin C. Cale, Louis Cale and Henry D. Jackson, Jr. successfully hijacked a Southern Airways Douglas DC-9 that was scheduled to fly from Birmingham, Alabama to Montgomery, Alabama. The three were each facing criminal charges for unrelated incidents. Thirty-one people were aboard the airplane when it was hijacked. Shortly after takeoff the three hijackers brandished handguns and hand grenades and took over the aircraft, demanding a ransom of $10 million. The hijackers had the plane flown to multiple locations in the United States and to Toronto, Canada before finally flying to Cuba. Contrary to the hijackers' expectations, Cuban president Fidel Castro did not accept them into that country, and the hijackers next had the airplane flown to Orlando, Florida, and talked about flying to Switzerland (which was not possible due to the airplane's small size). At one point, the hijackers
threatened to fly the plane into the nuclear reactor at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, if their demands for $10 million in cash were not met; one hijacker announced "I'm not playing. If you do not get that money together, I'm gonna crash this plane in Oak Ridge."

Both agree that they're vulnerable where they are now. Shane accuses Rick of not being there and protecting the camp. Rick suggests that he knows Shane had accepted Rick's family as his own. Later, in the woods, Shane aims his weapon at an unaware Rick, but Dale interrupts before things escalate.
Shane announces to the group that whatever happens, they should stick together, but the Morales family has decided to break away, taking their chances with relatives in Birmingham.

Luthor steals Kryptonite from the Metropolis Museum of Natural History. Perry then assigns Lois to interview Superman while Clark investigates the blackout. Lois and Jason inadvertently board Luthor's ship and are captured after Lois decides to hold interest in the blackout story, which she connects to Luthor's experiment. He reveals to them his grand scheme of using one of the stolen Kryptonian crystals, which he has combined with the Kryptonite, to grow a new continental landmass in the Northern Atlantic Ocean that will cause sea levels to rise drastically, killing billions of people.
