I even did that today. For reasons that are not obvious from watching that scene, or any other scene. That's the stuff that can't be faked. I think there I am.
So recently, past couple days, I am thinking the year is still 1998. I am still connected to a device that manipulates physically my human brain. The device is not of human creation and one of the objectives is the test - I am the very first human being to test it - is whether the technology itself is a living intelligence. So I have been thinking recently that the entirely reality that is so convincing to me right now is *based* on my knowledge up to 1998 and is *based* on what I believed was going to happen after the year 1998.
So there is no time-traveler effect. There is no time-traveler-paradox-prevention. That is just a notion that was more agreeable to my mind. My mind was more willing to agree with the possibility of time-travel than my mind was willing to agree with the notion of fabricated reality.
And you see, the reason no other people - no other *real* people - are reading this now is because that would unduly influence their minds when they undergo the test themselves.
I was never indoctrinated to the highly advance technology that now creates reality fabricated in my physical human brain and my mind.
I was told hypothetical information about the technology but no other human being before me has ever experienced it. The people that follow me could possibly become indoctrinated because of what they learn about my personal experience.
And then as I create this note I wrote to myself: See, that's what Thedia called Melissa and me. To certain people in her circle of gossipers Melissa and I were her "niggers." So then she started seeing that get reflected back and then by 2001 "Training Day" she was very paranoid especially because of profit-motive post-1993 comments to profit-motive Bill Gates-Corbis-Nazi's such as "who did" that United States Marshal "shoot now."

Captain Kingsley was also concerned that one or more of the Apaches might get lost in the possible mayhem and run out of fuel. One of his flight engineers, TSgt. Jeff Morrison, developed a procedure so that, if necessary, a Pave Low could ground transfer fuel from its tanks to the affected Apache, and make sure that the necessary equipment was aboard each Pave Low. As the aircrews conducted their planning and unit training, Intelligence sources reported that the three sites had again been moved this time about ten miles closer to the border--and consolidated into just two sites with several Soviet-style search and acquisition radars each. Accordingly, the 20th pilots modified the plan, and then took it to Col. Johnson at SOCCENT. He approved it and briefed it to General Schwarzkopf, who approved the use of Apaches from the 101st Division and cleared them to begin joint training. Comer met with Lt. Col. Cody to plan the mission in detail.
The force would be called "Task Force Normandy." Two flights of two MH-53s each would lead four Apaches to each site and provide combat recovery support. The two units trained for the mission through the fall. They also received permission to live-fire six Hellfire missiles in the Saudi desert.
In December, Col. Gray personally briefed General Schwarzkopf that the joint team was ready to execute its mission. When Gray assured him that the mission would be 100 percent successful, Schwarzkopf replied, "Okay, colonel, then you get to start the war." The joint team held a final rehearsal in January and it went perfectly. 'We were eager for the mission to fly," said Lt. Col. Comer, and noted in his personal journal that, "Not since Desert One in Iran had special operations helicopters been given a better chance for a good mission." (7)
As 1990 was waning, President Bush continued efforts to solve the crisis diplomatically. Concurrently, General Schwarzkopf and his commanders focused upon finalizing their campaign plans and building up their forces for possible offensive operations to forcibly extract Iraqi forces from Kuwait. In support of those efforts, on January 11, SOCCENT activated a forward operating location at Al Jouf in western Saudi Arabia, and Lt. Col. Comer was ordered to move the 20th SOS there. Three days later he and his airmen had completed the move. Lt. Col. Cody and his Apaches also deployed forward to Al Jouf.
On January 16, it was obvious that all nonmilitary efforts to resolve the Kuwaiti occupation had failed, and President Bush directed that military operations begin. SOCCENT notified all of its units that the war would start the next morning at 3:00 AM. Comer notified all of his personnel that EAGER ANVIL would commence that night. Other unit aircraft and crews would be on alert for CSAR tasking at several locations. Additionally, when the EAGER ANVIL MH-53s returned from the mission, they would be reassigned to CSAR duties. (8)
At 9:30 PM, Comer held a final flight briefing for the Pave Low and Apache crews. There really was nothing more to say. All recognized that they were about to take part in a very significant event and, while nervous, were extremely confident that they were the right force at the right time and place. All used the short time available before proceeding to their aircraft for private moments, actions, and prayers. Captain Kingsley felt the gravity of the moment, noting: "I immediately had butterflies in my stomach. Oh my gosh, the weight of the world is on this mission. A lot of people could die if we fail." He grabbed Corby Martin and went over the details of the mission for the "hundredth" time before heading out to the aircraft. (9)
The crews coordinated their engine starts so that the entire formation lifted off from Al Jouf at 1:00 AM. The "Red Team" Pave Lows, flown by Capt. Martin and Maj. Ben Pulsifer and crews were joined by their four Apaches and set course for the western target now designated "Nevada." Capt. Newman Shufflebarger led the Apaches. The second section of "White Team" Pave Lows, commanded by Capt. Kingsley and Maj. Robert Leonik and crews did likewise and proceeded to the eastern target, now designated "California." Lt. Col. Comer flew as Leonik's copilot and maintained communications contact with the SOCCENT command center where Colonels Gray and Johnson were closely monitoring the mission. The White Team Apaches were led by Lt. Col. Dick Cody.

there's a scar on my left hand that I have been wondering about but I don't feel like writing about. I remember it was after having to walk home through a bad neighborhood. I remember it was a nasty wound, bled a lot, something about nasty bandages. At first I thought it might be a bullet scar, but then I thought maybe someone had jammed a philips screwdriver between my knuckles. But there is no exit scar so I'm not sure what it means. Perhaps what ever did it didn't go down through my hand, rather went into my hand, towards my wrist and didn't exit. The oblong nature of the scar would support that possibility. It doesn't hurt though.
There is also a scar on the side of my right wrist that I remember from when I was in a day care center and was burned when some hot apple pie fell onto my hand.

A series of scenes in the dream just now about football. The notion of Princeton University was strongly present in those series of scenes where I seemed to be on a football team but I think something is askew to all that, in that my soccer team is mixed in to those scenes and I was confusing it with my actual participation on an American football team at U.S. Naval Academy. I did see a scene about a football kicker during an American football game. There was a lot of detail I can still visualize but I do not feel all that compelled to describe the scenes. In the next series of scenes though, I seemed to be walking through an open field and there is a paved road running off to my left and there is open field as far as I can see to the other side of it and I guess to my right side although most of the dream seems to visualize over to what was initially my left-side of visualization. Just after that visualization started, and I note that it seems to be chronologically after the series of football scenes, I saw the Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse in that field on the other side of the paved road and to my minor annoyance, they started charging in my direction and I can visualize that lead Horsemen, but I am left with the vague sense that the Four of them were actually cows that had turned to charge at me. I did some fancy maneuvering and got them going in circles because I could maneuver better than they could but at some point I realized that I was not going to be able to keep that tactic up for very long. As I visualize that scene again now that I am awake, they seemed to have surrounded me. In the next scene though I seemed to have broke away from the Four Bovine of The Apocalypse and I was running flat out across the field at a 45 degree angle ahead of my original line-of-sight and direction of travel and I am vaguely aware of something ahead of me but I cannot visualize it well enough or remember it well enough to describe. I can remember that I turned around as I was running and threw something back at the lead Cow of The Apocalypse and I struck it squarely on the head and it dropped dead right there on the spot. At that point, I seemed to look back at a bale of hay in the middle of the field, which was the only one in sight, and I thought to myself that I should have stayed near that bale of hay because it was a piece of that bale that I killed the lead Cow of The Apocalypse. But I was still running in that same direction and I cannot really visualize the other Cows of The Apocalypse althought I guess they were back there somewhere in the dust the first Cow kicked up in a field that did not seem that dusty. The detail become very vague at the point where the dreams ends and I vaguely aware of something about how I could get help in fighting off those other three Cows of The Apocalypse if I said I "believed" and so I did say I believed

As I was looking at this photo of the Apollo lunar lander, I starting thinking of that switchboard that was there above that small workstation in Missile Plot on Wainwright. It was that one next across from the primary ladder into the workspace and where we would sit on the transformer next to the table. I also remembered, as I have several times in recent memory for some reason, sitting there with Larry Johnson as he was playing that Apache helicopter game on my Commodore computer. He wanted me to cover the throttle or some other control as he was flying the helicopter in the game.

I started thinking again about that time on the Wainwright when I was topside up on the superstructure helping Larry Johnson work on one of his WDS antennas. I pulled off the fiberglass, canopy-shaped cover, and it almost pulled me over the side when the wind caught it. I wonder if that represents falling out of the shuttle as the WDS contained a lot of parts that remind me of the heat tiles on the shuttle.

The Wainwright pulled into Le Havre, France, after we crossed the channel from a port visit to Portsmouth, England. I wanted to go to Paris but I had duty on the 2nd day of our 3 day visit so I didn't have enough time. Larry Johnson and I and two other guys got on a bus in Le Havre with no idea where it was going and rode it until it stopped in Rouen. We started bar-hopping all the bars along the main street until night and then took a train back to Le Havre. I was so drunk that I walked off the wrong side of the train and the next thing I knew, I was face down in the gravel, having fallen off the train. I was all right, which was surprising because it was a long drop.

A U.S. Navy vessel is closely monitoring the movements of two Soviet warships that entered the Gulf of Mexico and came within 40 miles of the Texas coast, the U.S. Navy said.
The USS Taylor, American guidedmissile frigate, has been tracking the Soviet ships - a guided-missile destroyer and a guided-missile frigate - since they left Havana Thursday, said Lt. Cmdr. Craig Quigley, a Navy spokesman in Norfolk, Va.
The Taylor is always "within visual range" of the Soviet vessels that were last reported about 100 miles southwest of Tampa, Fla., and moving in a southeasterly direction, possibly toward Cuba, said Quigley.
However, there was no way to determine whether the Soviet warships were preparing to leave the Gulf and return to Havana. "They can always change rudder at a moment's notice," he said.
The destroyer and frigate - part of a larger group of four Soviet ships that entered the Caribbean in September - entered the Gulf Thursday, Quigley said. The vessels always remained within international waters, he said.
The Navy took pictures of the two Soviet ships Saturday when a P-3 maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare aircraft flew over the ships about 40 miles southeast of the Houston-Galveston area.
"That's international waters," Quigley said. "They've never come closer than 20 miles to our shore."

LA SPEZIA, Italy — Britain's Princess Diana, displaying the strong will for which she is known, upset Italian officials Saturday by insisting on seeing top-secret NATO equipment aboard an Italian navy frigate.
"There is a trace of (Britain's) first Queen Elizabeth in her," Italian Defense Minister Giovanni Spadolini remarked.
The incident took place aboard the frigate Grecale, on which the 23-year-old Diana and her husband, Prince Charles, watched a display of sky-diving off La Spezia, an Italian naval base in northwestern Italy.
Diana and Charles, heir to the British throne, were on the second day of a tour of Italy that started Friday on the island of Sardinia and will end May 5 in Venice.
During the short offshore cruise aboard the Grecale, Cmdr. Gianpaolo di Pola invited Prince Charles to inspect a control room that contained highly classified equipment used by forces of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization to counter Exocet missile attacks. The equipment was developed after Argentina used the French-made Exocets against British navy ships during the Falkland Islands War of 1982.
Prince Charles--wearing the uniform of Royal Navy commander, a rank he reached in service between 1971 and 1976--took up the offer to inspect the room while Diana was scheduled to tour the ship.
However, Diana insisted on joining her husband in inspecting the secret anti-missile equipment. Italian officials expressed shock but granted her request.
"We made an exception for her. We would not have done it for anyone else," the Italian frigate commander said.
Spadolini, a former prime minister who played host to the royal couple during their visit to the naval base, expressed some astonishment over Diana's behavior.
He compared her strong will to that of England's Queen Elizabeth I, under whom the ships of Sir Francis Drake smashed the Spanish Armada in 1588.
"She took an acute interest in all the technical matters," Spadolini said. "If you tell an English princess she cannot do something, she will insist on doing it."

But on the mile-long procession to Buckingham Palace from his uncle's wedding at Westminster Abbey, William adhered to a British royal tradition--he waved all along the route.
While Prince Andrew exchanged wedding vows with Sarah Ferguson, William fidgeted in his seat in full view of television cameras.

The young prince seemed little interested in the ceremony and sat playing with the cord on his hat, wrapping it around his fingers and his nose. Then he poked himself in the eye with it. At one point, he stuck his tongue out at his 6-year-old cousin, bridesmaid Laura Fellowes.
His antics drew a warning glance and giggles from his mother, Princess Diana, who was sitting nearby.
William's restlessness continued while his father, Prince Charles, read from Ephesians 3. Then William, along with fellow page Seamus Makim, the bride's 5-year-old nephew, began playing with the toy seaman's knives that came with their blue and white sailor suits.
The knives, toy replicas of those used by Royal Navy sailors in the 19th Century, have blunted stainless steel blades and bone handles.
William was on his best behavior when the service ended, leading the seven other young attendants out of the abbey.

SIOUX CITY, IA. — Robert Manz walked dazed through smoke and fire into a cornfield, then turned around.
``We didn`t realize how bad the loss of life was until we walked to the open area, and that`s when it really hit you-an utter mess of bodies and debris,`` said Manz, of Tiffin, Ohio, one of the passengers who survived the crash of the crippled United Airlines DC-10 jetliner here.
Manz and others aboard the plane sat stunned at a dormitory at Briar Cliff College and talked about the final terrifying minutes of the flight and the destruction they saw when they realized they were on the ground, alive.
Tom Postle, a credit manager from Newark, Ohio, said the first sign of trouble was a huge explosion 45 minutes out of Denver.
``We took a dive,`` he said. ``Then the captain came on and told us the No. 2 engine was gone and we`d be about a half hour late getting into Chicago.``
But 15 minutes later, Postle said, the captain spoke to the passengers again on the intercom, saying that flight attendants would instruct them about bracing for a crash.
As the plane headed for ground, Postle said the aircraft was weaving horizontally, and the wings were rolling.
``I knew if we got on the ground, chances were good that he would touch down on a wing tip,`` he said.
Suddenly, the captain yelled over the intercom, ``Brace! Brace! Brace!``
Postle said.
``We hit the ground very hard. We expected it to bounce back up, but it didn`t. Then we felt air and dust, and we couldn`t see. We were stopped before I realized we were upside down.``
Manz said he ``felt a really severe jolt. We came out of the ankle grab position, then there was a second jolt, and we lost all concept of direction. We didn`t know if we were end over end or sideways or what.``
