Meanwhile on the local tv news...

A good report by a superb tv reporter to clarify whether driver's have to stop for pedestrians.

There needs to be clarification.

I see a lot of stupid driver's - typically people I suspect are weepy-eye boo-hoo'er poop-scoopers - stopping in the middle of the road for no good reason, creating a potential hazardous situation.

That sort of inconsistency is how pedestrians can end up getting run over by one of the vast majority of maniac driver's out there, of which I am glad to not be one. I haven't owned a car in 15 years. Leaving me with a sort of detached incredulousness.
