Spirituality. God. Religion. Whatever you call it, it's the same: superstition.

You all need it for the same reason: you're *weak*.

You're incapable of independent thought for yourself.

I imagine the Planet Earth as a breeding ground for a race of Alien Overlords who have let their absence cause the fading of religions in the more educated belts of this planet.

Their genius is because their arrival will strengthen your superstitious religions, which they need for control over you.

You will become especially *fearful* because you did not believe the idiotic ramblings of Catholics, Baptists, all those perverts and others and their ridiculous fairy-tales.

Then the Overlords have what they wanted: a technologically-advanced planet infested with you superstitious monkeys who fawn to their superior technology.

Generations are enslaved.

All because *you* are weak and cowardly and incapable of independent thought and because *you* are, in your hypocrisy of your daily life, a bible-thumper.
