From: "Kerry Burgess"

To: "Kerry Burgess"

After months of swimming and treading water in an ocean of despair, I have washed ashore. I am lost on an island, the Fantasy Island. "It's duh plane, Boss, duht net plane!" I am being forced to live out a fantasy of a suspect. It is quite the experience being a suspicious person walking around normal people as they go about their unknown existence, in my eyes looking like people that will probably go home somewhere, maybe even celebrating christmas, or some other peaceful activity, unalone.

I'll Be Home For Christmas

I'll be home for Christmas
You can count on me
Please have snow and mistletoe
and presents on the tree

Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams

===================================

Starbuck: Lee. Lee, you okay? Are you okay?

Apollo: No. Not really. I, um, I broke my word to you.

Starbuck: What're you talking about?

Apollo: I let you down. I wasn't there when you needed me.

Starbuck: Look... a close call like that... that would mess with anybody's head. All right? It turns out I didn't need you anyway. So... let's just be glad that we both came back alive, all right?

Apollo: That's just it, Kara. I didn't want to make it back alive.

Quotes

(Opening Narration)

Narrator: As must be obvious, this is a house hovered over by Mr. Death, that omnipresent player to the third and final act of every life. And it's been said, and probably rightfully so, that what follows this life is one of the unfathomable mysteries, an area of darkness which we the living reserve for the dead - or so it is said. For in a moment, a child will try to cross that bridge which separates light and shadow, and of course he must take the only known route, that indistinct highway through the region we call the Twilight Zone.

Quotes

Narrator: A toy telephone, an act of faith, a set of improbable circumstances, all combine to probe a mystery, to fathom a depth, to send a facet of light into a dark after-region, to be believed or disbelieved depending on your frame of reference. A fact or a fantasy, a substance or a shadow, but all of it very much a part of the Twilight Zone.
