the medic tells "Colonel Young" that he would need an MRI and a qualified doctor to read it in the dialog about his head wound and the paralysis in his legs and that reminds me of the doctor at the VA talking to me about the results from the catscan when I was inpatient at the VA. I later mentioned what I thought was something wrong with the top of my skull to the psychiatrist or psychologist or whatever he was and he seemed to look it over but he never gave me any useful information about it.

United States Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance
The Force Reconnaissance Companies (abbreviated as either 'Force Recon' or FORECON), are one of the United States Marine Corps's special operations "capable" forces that provide pertinent military intelligence to the command element of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF); supporting the landing or joint task force commanders, and their subordinate operating units of the Fleet Marine Force (FMF), either the expeditionary/amphibious forces of the Pacific (FMFPac), or Atlantic (FMFLant).
Green Operations
The principal mission of Force Recon is reconnaissance, to collect any pertinent intelligence of military importance, observe, identify and report adversaries to MAGTF commanders. Like Division Recon (also known as the Marine Recon Battalions), they imply a mixed element of amphibious reconnaissance and ground reconnaissance. These missions are known as green operations. This practice fundamentally covers a wide spectrum of reconnaissance but primarily the FORECON operators conduct deep reconnaissance.

Dr. Louis Moix Loved Life And Profession

Dr. Louis Moix was easy to spot. You just had to look for a man driving a shiny red sports car near Ballard Community Hospital.
He was the same person who might have been seen waterskiing on Lake Washington or seated at a Seattle Mariners game.
He was a man, said friends, who loved life, his family and his profession.
Dr. Moix, 52, died May 7 at his home on Mercer Island after a long battle with a rare cancer.
Born in Arkansas, Dr. Moix moved to Seattle in the mid-1960s following medical school at St. Louis University. He had attended the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. for two years, ranking third in a class of 843, said his wife, Joyce. But, because he wore glasses, he knew he couldn't fly, she said, so he decided to pursue medical school.
Dr. Moix practiced radiology at Ballard Hospital for 19 years, serving as chief of staff. He also practiced at the Roosevelt Medical Center.
And he loved his cars, said Joyce Moix. Fast cars. Shiny cars.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The last radio contact from John F. Kennedy Jr. before he died when the plane he was flying crashed into the Atlantic in July 1999 was a routine "thanks" to air controllers in New Jersey for runway clearance, newly released documents showed on Wednesday.

The air traffic transcripts give no additional clues on what caused the crash off the southern New England coast that killed Kennedy, the son of the slain 35th U.S. president, his wife and sister-in-law.
"Caldwell ground, Saratoga niner two five three November, ready to taxi with mike at airbound right turnout northeastbound," Kennedy told ground controllers at the Essex County, New Jersey, airport where he began an ill-fated flight to Cape Cod in Massachusetts. He was headed to his family's storied compound for a wedding.
Kennedy, 38, was directed to a runway and then replied, "Five three november to two two, thanks." The figures announced by Kennedy represented part of the tail number that identified his high-performance Piper plane.
Kennedy was traveling with his wife, Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and her sister, Lauren Bessette on July 16, 1999. He had not filed a flight plan.
The Federal Aviation Administration transcripts also reveal a nighttime phone call to controllers from a Kennedy relative worried the plane had not shown up for its first stop in Martha's Vineyard.
The transcript identifies a woman, Carole Radziwill, who is asked by controllers if she knows the pilot's name.
"John Kennedy," she responded.
Radziwill, who at the time was married to one of Kennedy's cousins, explained Kennedy was a novice pilot and she was "just getting nervous" about his whereabouts.
Kennedy's plane was found days later in the water.

The fleet has discovered an asteroid field with a large ore deposit, enough to construct at least two new squadrons of vipers. But the Cylons know about it and behind every rock there could be a raider. Since the destruction of the Resurrection ship they changed their tactics from mass to sneak attacks. Several pilots are already dead and especially raider Scar is feared. Meanwhile Starbuck hasn't been herself lately. She drinks a lot, thinks much about Anders and is getting irritated by Kat. She continually challenges her, beats her record in training and calls her the next Tigh. Both claim they will hunt down Scar. 200 cubits and the precious Top Gun trophy, currently in Starbuck's possession, are at stake.

USS George Washington (CVN 73) is an American nuclear-powered supercarrier
On 22 May 2008, while the ship was off the Pacific Coast of South America, a fire occurred that injured 37 sailors. There were no fatalities. The Navy defined the incident as 'serious'. According to a statement from Naval Air Forces' public affairs office, the fire broke out in the ship's air-conditioning and refrigeration space and an auxiliary boiler room. The fire spread via a cableway and caused extreme heat in some parts of the ship. It took several hours for the ship's crew to contain and extinguish the fire.
On 27 May, George Washington stopped at NAS North Island in San Diego, California for repairs. On 20 June, the Navy announced that the damage from the fire was more serious than previously thought, and that repairs would take at least until August and would cost $70 million.
