God, I know what it is. If I could just remember it. Salt. What is it about salt? Salt has something to do with it. Sodium chloride. NaCl. What is about salt? Am I supposed to create some kind of solution that uses salt? I tried that already. Nothing happened. Is it not yet time? Salt. Salt. Salt. Salt. Salt water, of course, is seawater. But that is not it by itself. That is not what I need to recall. I don't know. Maybe, again, I don't have to actually construct anything. Maybe I am just supposed to remember something.

I have reached the point in the series finale episodes of the "Battlestar Galactica" television series DVD collection where those final five "Cylons" all stick their hands into what I just heard them describe as a conductive solution so they can all transfer the code in their "Cylon" minds into a collective work that will give the other "Cylons" the program code to the "Resurrection" technology.
when I was thinking hard about salt and what secret is connected to it. I even poured a heaping of salt into a bowl and then I filled that bowl with warm water

Having only my laptop to work on is seriously impeding my productivity.
I told the fire department employee, who I guess was a fireman, who came to investigate yesterday the fire alarm in my building that they should turn off the power to the building considering that the water flooding my floor by the broken water main on the
story was about to cover the electrical outlet strip on my floor but he was confident the circuit breaker would prevent anyone, including me, from getting electrocuted but I had no such confidence in a circuit breaker I had not even looked at and as far as I know that neither had he. They never did turn off the power.

Sometime later, Rush is lecturing a class full of students at a University, asking if anybody is familiar with the significance of Shor's algorithm. One of the students stands up and describes what the algorithm is. While the student is in the process of explaining, from Rush's perspective, a tunnel of Ancient symbols is streaming towards him. Seeing it apparently overwhelms Rush.
In his dream world, Rush decides to visit Gloria at her death bed in the hospital. It is revealed that Gloria is aware that she is part of his imagination. She notes that since her death, Rush has become more callous. Rush tries to justify these acts as being for the greater good, and says that the good in him died along with her, though Gloria believes otherwise. After she laments that she had to inherit a defective gene from her mother which cannot do the simple job of repairing damaged DNA, Rush realizes the meaning of the number 46 from her statement. Gloria is then aware of why Rush is in this particular dream; this is the memory he'd rather forget. In tears, Rush says he has never forgotten her, and he never will. After saying goodbye to her, Rush leaves the dream and walks through the door to reality.
