Not sure if I wrote about this, but last night I had another flash of inspiration. The movie "Capricorn One" premiered on 6/2/78. If I did go to Mars in 1976 on during the mission known as Viking One, that would be pretty clever to create that movie. That would also explain this "evidence" notion that has been rattling around in my head for a while.
