Doctor Daniel JACKSON: We've gotten closer and closer to finding the location of the Lost City but it turns out we've been looking in the wrong place all along. (He walks over to a whiteboard on which are drawn six Stargate coordinates with the numbers 1-6 above them.) Now, we thought we had a Stargate address -- six symbols representing coordinates in space that determine the location of the planet the Ancients went to after they left Antarctica. Now, recently we determined a seventh symbol. (He picks up a pen and draws the symbol representing Earth on the board to the right of the other symbols.)
Doctor Elizabeth WEIR: The point of origin, Earth.
JACKSON: That's not it.
Doctor Rodney McKAY: Then your address must be incorrect.
JACKSON: Not incorrect… incomplete.
(He draws another symbol in between the sixth symbol and the Earth symbol.)
WEIR: What are you saying, Doctor Jackson?
(Daniel numbers the newest symbol 7 and the Earth symbol 8.)
JACKSON: It's an eight symbol address. What we're looking for may be further away than we ever imagined, but it's not out of reach.
McKAY: Atlantis!
JACKSON: Atlantis. I think we can go there.

The ZSU-23-4 "Shilka" is a lightly armoured, self-propelled, radar guided anti-aircraft weapon system (SPAAG). ZSU stands for Zenitnaya Samokhodnaya Ustanovka, "anti-aircraft self-propelled system". It is named after the Russian Shilka River. Its NATO reporting name is "Awl" (probably because of confusion or association with the Russian word Shilo for "awl").

The Coeur d'Alene are a Native American people who lived in villages along the Coeur d'Alene, St. Joe, Clark Fork and Spokane Rivers; as well as sites on the shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene, Lake Pend Oreille and Hayden Lake, in what is now northern Idaho, eastern Washington and western Montana.
In their language, members call themselves Schitsu'umsh (or Skitswish), meaning The Discovered People or Those Who Are Found Here. French Canadian fur traders in the late 18th or early 19th century gave them their non-native name. The name Cœur d'Alène means Heart of an Awl, referring to the perceived shrewdness of the trading skills exhibited by the tribe.

You sent me that photo of you and me from that day I graduated US Navy basic training in Orlando Florida in July 1984.
Do you have anyway of knowing the precise date that photo of us was taken?
I also want to know if you know the precise date we all were at the Disney park in Orlando.
My official military records tell me I left basic training on July 16th but I don't think that was the date we graduated.
My guess is we were at Disney on the 14th or the 15th. Graduation was a Friday if I remember correctly and that might have been the 13th.
Or graduation was the 6th and we had liberty on the 7th and 8th.

I'm wondering if I was awarded the Navy Cross for my participation in this preemptive strike.

According to the book, those were the -4s. That's freakin' incredible, or so it seems to me for some unexplained reason other than the obvious. And they had 60 of the SAM-6s parked there too. It's incredible no one was knocked down.

DAMN damn damn. This explains those recurring dreams I was having a while back. I can't remember when I was having them, seems like it has been during this period of captivity while I was homeless. The recurring element in those dreams was that I was in a pickup, one time in a Jeep, and the vehicle was going backwards. I couldn't get it to start moving forward again. A very disturbing dream. Seems like I wrote in my sleep journal about the last one. Something about me in my red Ford spinning my wheels as I approached a cliff.
The move this book describes that Raz makes over Osirak reminds me of something from a Space: Above And Beyond episode. The character McQueen does something that seems similar in the final sequence when he finally hits the enemy flyer. The episode is title "The Angriest Angel." He had to have some kind of medical implant removed before he could fly again.

A series of scenes in the dream just now about football. The notion of Princeton University was strongly present in those series of scenes where I seemed to be on a football team but I think something is askew to all that, in that my soccer team is mixed in to those scenes and I was confusing it with my actual participation on an American football team at U.S. Naval Academy. I did see a scene about a football kicker during an American football game. There was a lot of detail I can still visualize but I do not feel all that compelled to describe the scenes. In the next series of scenes though, I seemed to be walking through an open field and there is a paved road running off to my left and there is open field as far as I can see to the other side of it and I guess to my right side although most of the dream seems to visualize over to what was initially my left-side of visualization. Just after that visualization started, and I note that it seems to be chronologically after the series of football scenes, I saw the Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse in that field on the other side of the paved road and to my minor annoyance, they started charging in my direction and I can visualize that lead Horsemen, but I am left with the vague sense that the Four of them were actually cows that had turned to charge at me. I did some fancy maneuvering and got them going in circles because I could maneuver better than they could but at some point I realized that I was not going to be able to keep that tactic up for very long. As I visualize that scene again now that I am awake, they seemed to have surrounded me. In the next scene though I seemed to have broke away from the Four Bovine of The Apocalypse and I was running flat out across the field at a 45 degree angle ahead of my original line-of-sight and direction of travel and I am vaguely aware of something ahead of me but I cannot visualize it well enough or remember it well enough to describe. I can remember that I turned around as I was running and threw something back at the lead Cow of The Apocalypse and I struck it squarely on the head and it dropped dead right there on the spot. At that point, I seemed to look back at a bale of hay in the middle of the field, which was the only one in sight, and I thought to myself that I should have stayed near that bale of hay because it was a piece of that bale that I killed the lead Cow of The Apocalypse. But I was still running in that same direction and I cannot really visualize the other Cows of The Apocalypse althought I guess they were back there somewhere in the dust the first Cow kicked up in a field that did not seem that dusty. The detail become very vague at the point where the dreams ends and I vaguely aware of something about how I could get help in fighting off those other three Cows of The Apocalypse if I said I "believed" and so I did say I believed and then I saw something that I can only describe now vaguely and one of those wagonwheeled-transports, that I think had names such as Conestoga, come traveling by me out in the direction of the other Cows and the wagon seemed to be covered in fire. I think I had stopped running at that point and there are other details about the surroundings that I can still visualize but not well enough to describe and I am left to ponder where I was. As I was writing all this, I remembered there was another series of scenes before the series of scenes about American football and I am left only with the sense of being compelled to remember those scenes and while I can visualize certain details, such as being in a supermarket, I cannot remember enough detail to articulate. I am not certain if those first scenes are connected to the next scenes about the football.

I am thinking again that details I write about seeing in a dream while asleep are from the perspective of another person that was a participant in what could be a memory of a real experience. It is the result of some literary exercise I used to follow and has something to do with writing stories from the perspective of another person.

I guess. I don't know. I started thinking that because of other sleep-dreams I have had and of how I am now thinking I was not the one actually being chased by the Four Cows of The Apocalypse but that I was some kind of instrument of defense for the person that was being chased by some hostile forces that were trying to inflict deadly force on him and that he had asked me for protection and I had the resources and the lawful right to use force to stop the aggression he was trying to avoid.

AMERICAN MEDICAL RESEARCHER
Paul Maurice Zoll, American cardiologist and medical researcher (born July 15, 1911, Boston, Mass.—died Jan. 5, 1999, Chestnut Hill, near Boston), conducted pioneering research that led to the development of the cardiac defibrillator, improved pacemakers, and continuous heart-rhythm monitoring devices. Following his graduation from Harvard College (B.A., 1932) and Harvard Medical School (M.D., 1936), Zoll was made a research fellow (1939) in cardiology at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, working under physicians Monroe Schlesinger and Herman Blumgart. During World War II he was stationed in Great Britain as a U.S. Army physician. In that capacity he observed numerous open-heart surgeries performed by Dwight Harken, and he noted with interest the manner in which the heart responded reflexively to the slightest touch. After the war he became involved in attempts to regulate the heartbeat and treat myocardial infarctions (heart attacks). At the time, emergency cardiac resuscitation involved cutting patients’ chests open and squeezing the heart by hand. Zoll experimented with closed-chest electrical cardiac stimulation, and in 1952 he restarted the hearts of two patients at Beth Israel Hospital. Researchers worldwide were soon racing to enhance defibrillator designs, which later became standard issue in emergency rooms, ambulances, and airplanes. Acceptance from within the medical community was not universal or immediate, however; many questioned whether such “artificial” methods were ethical if not altogether blasphemous. Zoll’s efforts were later concentrated on improving cardiac pacemakers, which were massive, inefficient external machines that often caused great pain to their users. His new designs were the forerunners of the miniaturized permanent pacemakers currently implanted in hundreds of thousands of patients each year. Zoll also worked to improve electrocardiographic monitoring devices. In the 1980s he founded ZOLL Medical Corp., which developed and marketed new defibrillator designs. Despite his numerous contributions to medical technology, Zoll received only limited recognition until 1973, when he was awarded the Albert Lasker Clinical Medical Research Award.

I dreamt a lot lately, but end up not remembering very much. The only dream segment I remember has a navy uniform theme to it. I just remember something about wearing the uniform and something about wearing the E-9 insignia. In the latest one, I remember something about an officer informing me that the recommended me for a high-profile military academy. But since I am too old now to attend someplace like Annapolis, the scenario may have occurred in the past, especially because sometimes I see things that suggest several officer paygrade, with LCDR the highest rank I have seen myself associated with.

Doogie Howser, M.D. (1989–1993), is a television comedy-drama starring Neil Patrick Harris as a brilliant teenage doctor who was also faced with the problems of being a normal teenager, despite having graduated from Princeton University at age 10. Created by Steven Bochco and David E. Kelley, the weekly, half-hour "dramedy" Doogie Howser, M.D. starred Neil Patrick Harris as Douglas "Doogie" Howser, a child prodigy who after completing high school in nine weeks, graduating from Princeton at age 10 and finishing medical school four years later, became at the tender age of 14 the youngest practicing physician in the country.

Bill Clinton presented the Congressional Space Medal of Honor on 7/26/1995 to Jim Lovell for Apollo 13.
Phoebe's age on 7/26/1995 has 7/21/1979 at the midpoint.
That must be the source of that dream I wrote about with the plaque. Every time I read about that, I have some kind of sense associated with Jim Lovell personally but I cannot articulate it.
I have been thinking for a while that he was on Earth during that time as my personal CAPCOM, perhaps, or some similar role, and he was living under that same conditions in the simulator equipment as we were in space.

but I was noticing when I was in the VA that there is some medical equipment they manufacture that monitors body functions.
She said before that she had wanted to be a doctor and I cannot now remember what was the other aspiration she listed after doctor but I began to wonder if that has something to do with my wife, who is also a medical doctor.

Tracie and I first went out on a December 7th. I think it was 1991. I think it was a Christmas party at the bank we worked at. Her job was to stock cash in the ATMs for the western part of the region I covered. When there was a problem with the machines, she called me out to make repairs.

As I was trying to go to sleep last night, I had a thought that I have a doctorate in computer science from Princeton. I can’t think of any supporting clues that point specifically to that accomplishment though. There is one memory from working in the lockbox at that bank in Charlotte, but I’m not sure what it means. I also wonder about the B.A. and I had thoughts that I studied music as well at Princeton.

Counterpart is an American science fiction thriller television series created by Justin Marks on the premium cable network Starz. It has been picked up for two 10-episode seasons. The first episode was directed by Morten Tyldum. The premiere episode first aired on December 10, 2017. It stars Academy Award–winning actor J. K. Simmons in a dual role.
In February 2018, Starz announced that production had begun in Berlin on the second season. The 10-episode second season is scheduled to premiere on December 9, 2018.
Premise
Howard Silk has been working for a United Nations agency based in Berlin for thirty years; however, his rank is too low for him to be told what his work really involves. In fact, the agency oversees a crossing point to a parallel Earth (the "Prime world"), a copy of Silk's world, which was created by East German scientists in 1987, and which has been diverging ever since.
Silk's "other" self, his counterpart from the Prime world, is, among other things, a field agent who regularly makes crossings to Silk's world (the "Alpha world")

Okay, for my next test case, I was surprised to see a good match is already forming.
The next step is I have to listen to FM 102.5 KZOK Seattle Washington radio at 4:56 AM 10 April 2011 and listen for significant details that match in the broadcast during that minute to this journal entry I made and that I chose because of and after an earlier post I made in my internet weblog.
