This Is What I Think.

Arlington Heights

I cannot imagine a reason I would have attended a regular weekday baseball game in Chicago in the year 1986.

I was attending a full-time United States Navy school the entire time I was there.

I have written before in my journal about how I met Diane Broch after my school curriculum began.

I was promoted to petty officer third class already and in the fleet and I was attending a school where most US Navy sailors were promoted, advanced into the rating of third class petty officer, after finishing the curriculum, which began in Orlando Florida, for those in the original track, after basic naval training.

So anyway, the internet source I found indicates that Chicago Cubs battled the Pittsburgh Pirates 18 times in the year 1986.

The first 6 games were in the month of April 1986 and that wasn't possible for me because my records indicate I didn't arrive until after those games and during the month of April.

So that leaves 12 possibilities.

The first possibility I can imagine is the day 13 September 1986.

That day was a Saturday.

I cannot recall a day in the year 1986 when I was not attending class every Monday through Friday.

There were four weekend games in the year 1986. September 13, September 14, September 20, September 21.

I can still visualize that day Diane's mom drove us around in Chicago showing me the sights.

One time when I was in Chicago in 1986, I went to a day baseball game with Diane Broch and her mother. I am pretty sure if was the Cubs and Pittsburgh playing that day.

Slept for a few hours. Not sure what I dreamed of but I want to kick someone's ass.
