What seems most *amazing* to me is the EFFORT behind the scenes to get those politicians recorded on video associated with that local television news story.
Not to mention the *fact* that Maria Cantwell is rarely covered by Channel 2 KREM CBS News Spokane. Perhaps the other local stations have more coverage of her. I don't know. Since I moved here to Spokane Valley in September 2013 I have followed almost exclusively Channel 2 KREM news. In the video from earlier in the day they broadcast of her on live television news she makes a point to draw attention to the laundry machines in the room they were touring.

That's Spokane Mayor David Condon witnessing her walking past him, as illustrated. He's the guy looking upwards and then later, perhaps, his motion suggests glancing at the unseen person behind the camera speaking instruction.
I am very *certain* they would have had no idea what I would publish here about that calendar day.
There is ABSOLUTELY no way a human brain can simply guess up the code pattern I document.
The only possible way to understand the pattern is with *MY* *original* software code.
Certainly is a red-letter day. Working on it for only a few minutes I see I'm going to have to look around at The Usual Suspects to see what they are up to today also delaying another interesting report I started work on last night to explore further implications of "The Booth at the End".

SPOKANE, Wash. — U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) joined Spokane leaders and housing advocates on Tuesday as part of her push for new federal resources to address affordable housing.
Cantwell spoke alongside of Spokane Mayor David Condon, City Council President and mayoral candidate Ben Stuckart, and epresentatives from Volunteers of America, the Washington State Housing Finance Commission and Community Frameworks at noon on Tuesday.
The visit comes as Cantwell is trying to raise support for dual bills about the Affordable Housing Tax Credit, which would create nearly 1.9 million new affordable housing units over the next decade – including more than 9,700 in Washington state.
She, and other lawmakers, would like to expand the credit to boost construction.
The bill was introduced in June, and lawmakers said it could help to build 10,000 units in 10 years in Washington state. It has bi-partisan support, but Cantwell and other lawmakers acknowledge there will need to be more for the legislation to become a reality.
Stuckart said on Tuesday that Spokane has a "housing crisis at all levels," noting in particular the 2% vacancy rate in the city and 800 individuals with housing vouchers.
Stuckart added that he sat down last week with a couple whose rent increased by 50% in one month.
"They were homeless by the end of last week," he added. "If we built more units under this program, they might have had somewhere to go."
Condon added that Cantwell's legislation is personalized and unique to certain areas throughout Washington state.
"Often, with all due respect to the government, it seems to be one size fits all," he said.
RELATED: Washington lawmakers looking to expand the Affordable Housing Tax Credit
According to Cantwell’s office, nearly 220,000 Washington families pay more than half their monthly income for rent and there are currently only 29 available affordable homes for every 100 extremely low-income renter households in the state.
On Tuesday, Cantwell asked the National Conference of Mayors to join her and Condon in advocating for the passage of a larger increase in the Affordable Housing Tax Credit.
“The tax credit is flexible and we’re providing even more flexibility in our new Senate bill," Cantwell said. "In this legislation, we now make it possible to have veteran-only housing. Second, we make it easier for formerly homeless youth to be placed in affordable housing and we make it easier for women who have been victims of domestic violence to find shelter.”
Spokane residents cannot afford affordable housing because it is often equivalent to 33% or more of their income, Cantwell added.
“Spokane is also seeing a rise in economic activity and because of that you’re seeing a rise in that and you’re seeing a rise in people who can’t afford housing," she said.
“Housing needs a boost at a time in our economy when many people can’t find affordable solutions," Cantwell added.

Snow in northern BC, Rain in the Northwest
The fire season is over in northern BC. Done. Finished. Currently, it is SNOWING up there, with all kinds of warnings and dangerous roads (see below). And this is after quite a wet period recently. What a difference a year makes!
The latest infrared satellite imagery is scary for this time of the year (see below). A range of potent weather systems are lined up offshore, ready to move in on us. Of particular note is the tightly wound cyclone offshore of southern Oregon. Doesn't look like a mid-August satellite pic.

My fellow Americans.
I come here today to talk of unfinished hopes and of unfilled dreams.
Charles Brubaker, Peter Willis, and John Walker left the Earth for their dream a little more than 8 months ago.
They were never able to return to us.
Their dream was able to grow and flourish because of the support of millions of citizens all across America.
At a time when cynicism was a national epidemic they gave us something to take pride in.
It is a dream that should not be allowed to die.
A nation is built on the spirit of its people.
The test of greatness of any nation is how that nation pulls together in a time of crisis.
The only limits on what we can achieve are the limits we place on our hopes.
These three men reminded us of the limitlessness of our hopes.
There was a moment these past few days when we were all one people.
We were all hoping. We were all a little bit taller. A little bit prouder.
We were all feeling the same fears and the same exhilaration.
These three men brought us together.
We knew together that there are no goals we cannot reach if we just reach for them together.
There is no adequate way with which we can express our gratitude to the men themselves because they are no longer among us.
