Every time I look at that image I think to myself that I must have something wrong about the location.
That the overpass does exist here in the real world, just at a different location than the one I identified.
I don't have a car. I haven't driven an automobile since that time in September 2013, since the 28th, when I returned the rental car I drove out here in with with my meager possessions from Seattle-Renton in the trunk.
So I can't just drive out there on a whim and verify. Another rental car is an expense I don't want to make.
To be absolutely certain, I would have to recreate the precise route I covered that day, in my non-stop drive from the Seattle suburbs to here in Spokane Valley and my destination on the 26th, the Crossland. I remember they gave me a wheelchair-accessible room that night, as I walked in there on wobbly legs from sitting behind the wheel of that rental car for over 5 hours straight.
To be certain, I would have to make that drive over again and document each and every overpass I see along the way.
I worked on that calculation recently for hours, when that Fear the Walking Dead episode *caused* me to find that image of mine that has been sitting in my archive since I captured it on 09/26/2013.
I poured over the Google maps trying to find a match and I never did find one.
What gets me about my work is that the location I did match it with is very close to my predicted rate of forward motion.
I used an earlier image with a mile marker in it and then I extrapolated using the interstate I-90 speed limit of 70 miles per hour.
And it matched. The locations match.
My image shows a mile marker but the image resolution combined with my velocity makes it impossible to decipher.
However, an image from Google Streetview displays a mile marker there, in the predicted location, and it has distinctive terrain features that match my image of what seems to be the same location of mile marker 202.
And see, the controversial feature is not really noticable unless you zoom in the image. I doubt I would have ever found that feature in *my* image if not for that Fear the Walking Dead episode.
Even if I had noticed it, the image feature is so realistic that I would probably never questioned its presence. Only because of that television series episode, and its key details, did I work on comparing my image with the Google Streetview image.
I'm dealing with subjects that will scare the bejesus out of you superstitious monkeys infesting this beautiful planet Earth.
Is it really *your* fault that you're a superstitious monkey, whether you're willing to accept it or not?
Well, perhaps not. What is *your* fault is your unwilling inability at independent thought.
Jesus Christ bible-thumpers, as are *all* religions, are terrified of the real world.
