SHEPPARD: So some people have the same genes as these Ancients. (He walks around the Chair.)
BECKETT: The specific gene is very rare, but on the whole they look very much like we do. In fact they were first. We're the second evolution of this form, the Ancients having explored this galaxy for millions of years before ... Major, please don't.
(Sheppard has started to sit down in the Chair.)
SHEPPARD: Come on -- what are the odds of me having the same genes as these guys?
(As he sits down, the Chair immediately lights up and reclines. Both he and Beckett stare in amazement.)
BECKETT: Quite slim, actually. (Shouting out) Doctor Weir! (He looks at Sheppard.) Don't move.
(He hurries off. Sheppard lies in the Chair, looking upwards nervously.)
SHORTLY AFTERWARDS. Beckett and the others run back to the Chair. Weir stops and looks at Sheppard.
Dr. WEIR: Who is this?
(O'Neill walks up onto the dais and looks down at Sheppard.)
General O'NEILL: I said don't touch anything.
Major SHEPPARD: I-I just sat down.

AND FOR THE RECORD, I never NEVER at anytime recently planned on going to Coeur d'Alene today. I didn't think I could make it yet. I decided only after I left Corbin Park and when I got to point of pedaling my heavy-ass mountain bike with its very uncomfortable seat with left turn, I decided to turn to the right to travel east. And I still hadn't decided to pedal all the way to CDA. I was just riding east trying to find a better vantage to photograph the north side of a mountain I have been imaging the west side of for years now. So I was pedaling east. Then I caught a glimpse of something that made me think of 3/1/2004 when I escaped Redmond and King County in the dark of the night. So I pedaled east today for a few minutes more and my OCD kicked in and I JUST HAD to pedal all the way to CDA, knowing correctly the ride back would be grueling but not even considering the strong head-wind that compiled my moderate misery.

And even if I am right, then, well, how did I get here.
How did I even learn that information?
I have found absolutely nothing in my reseach over the past 13 years that gave me even the slightest clue about her.
Even if I'm right then how did I learn that information.
But I had to prove my point.
I can't even randomly sit down somewhere without it slapping me in the face.

She said before that she had wanted to be a doctor and I cannot now remember what was the other aspiration she listed after doctor but I began to wonder if that has something to do with my wife, who is also a medical doctor.

I can recall some details about working for that company in Memphis during that six week period of time. We mostly went to a hospital there in downtown Memphis. St. Jude's I think that was. I know I've written about it before in my journal. I have also had the unmistakable sense of certainly that Phoebe worked there at some point and that was why I was there. Maybe she interned there as a medical doctor, I have wondered.
