Dear Senator Murray,
I am writing to you again because my situation continues to deteriorate. The reason I am telling you all this is because I am a law-abiding citizen as well as a U.S. military combat veteran and I request assistance from the government since I am up against an unknown foe. I am not expecting special treatment due to my military service record but I mention it because I believe it demonstrates my commitment to the ideals of the United States of America. Those very ideals are not being respected by my adversaries. I choose to label the unknown forces behind this situation as adversaries, enemies even, because they will not stand up and identify themselves and meet me face to face.
I was concerned for a while that it was the U.S. government behind all this, but after carefully reviewing the circumstances and the evidence I have collected, I concluded that it must not be the government. Unless someone in the government is engaged in a cover up to protect themselves from justice and the penalties for their actions.

§ 3771. Crime victims’ rights
(a) Rights of Crime Victims.— A crime victim has the following rights:
(1) The right to be reasonably protected from the accused.
(2) The right to reasonable, accurate, and timely notice of any public court proceeding, or any parole proceeding, involving the crime or of any release or escape of the accused.
(3) The right not to be excluded from any such public court proceeding, unless the court, after receiving clear and convincing evidence, determines that testimony by the victim would be materially altered if the victim heard other testimony at that proceeding.
(4) The right to be reasonably heard at any public proceeding in the district court involving release, plea, sentencing, or any parole proceeding.
(5) The reasonable right to confer with the attorney for the Government in the case.
(6) The right to full and timely restitution as provided in law.
(7) The right to proceedings free from unreasonable delay.
(8) The right to be treated with fairness and with respect for the victim’s dignity and privacy.
(b) Rights Afforded.— (1) In general.— In any court proceeding involving an offense against a crime victim, the court shall ensure that the crime victim is afforded the rights described in subsection (a). Before making a determination described in subsection (a)(3), the court shall make every effort to permit the fullest attendance possible by the victim and shall consider reasonable alternatives to the exclusion of the victim from the criminal proceeding. The reasons for any decision denying relief under this chapter shall be clearly stated on the record.
(2) Habeas corpus proceedings.— (A) In general.— In a Federal habeas corpus proceeding arising out of a State conviction, the court shall ensure that a crime victim is afforded the rights described in paragraphs (3), (4), (7), and (8) of subsection (a).
(B) Enforcement.— (i) In general.— These rights may be enforced by the crime victim or the crime victim’s lawful representative in the manner described in paragraphs (1) and (3) of subsection (d).
(ii) Multiple victims.— In a case involving multiple victims, subsection (d)(2) shall also apply.
(D) Definition.— For purposes of this paragraph, the term “crime victim” means the person against whom the State offense is committed or, if that person is killed or incapacitated, that person’s family member or other lawful representative.

God what a f---ed up dream. Makes me think of being tortured. They put you into a machine and you have to wriggle your way out, centimeter by centimeter and it is beyond claustrophobic and they look for your worst fears and every day they have a new day to exploit your worst fears and this g--damned doesn't even come close - not even g--damned close - to describing how bad it is.

They don't torture you with primarily physical pain, such as beatings, etc. Physical torture is easy to resist. For a while at least. If you are good, you can resist it for a long time. Depends on how far they take it though. But the real bastards look to get in your head and really screw with you. And they have weeks and months and years to just screw with your head and screw with your head because they are lunatics and this doesn't come goddamned close to describing how bad it was.

I woke up this time thinking, partially visualizing, flying an F-14 Tomcat over the ocean somewhere. I can almost visualize another F-14 flying on my wing. Suddenly, the other F-14 exploded but I can't actually visualize that part. I think both people parachuted out of that aircraft. Apparently another missile hit my aircraft, blew off the canopy, and knocked me unconscious. Then I can almost see us traveling straight down towards the ocean surface and the RIO in the seat behind me was yelling at me to wake up. I pulled up and engaged the two aircraft that fired at us. One was hit by my Sparrow but the other Sparrow missed. I went in and finished off the other one up close. I returned to the carrier and landed safely, and then passed out from a moderate concussion with blood running out from underneath my cracked helmet.

In my "memory" of that time in that Mustang, the guy sitting asleep all the time in the back seat of the car might actually represent that the RIO had been killed in the explosion that blew off the canopy of my F-14. The guy in the seat to the right of my might have been a pilot in another F-14 guiding me back to the carrier because I was suffering from a concussion.

How I managed to shoot down those two enemy fighters is beyond me. I imagine or remember that I left a wake on the ocean surface I came so close to it before I recovered control after the initial missile volley they sent at us. They got off another volley but none of those detonated around me.

I wonder if the day I wrote about recently, where the F-14 on my wing exploded from a missile hit and my canopy was shattered by another one, was when President Reagan was listening in to us from the White House, for some reason. I'm not sure why he was listening in to our communications, but I am thinking that it was because he was listening that we were jumped. One notion is that my wingman and I were observing a Soviet bomber and their fighter escort went hostile.

That's why they would do nothing but take me to the hospital where the people at the hospital would then drug me up for days and weeks and months and years.
The purpose of the drugs was to force me to tell them I am lying about my true identity and to reveal that I am an undercover police officer which they know I will not do under direct questioning, even to this day.
These good ol' boys around here think that undercover police officer's are rude for not informing the local and county police office's about their undercover activity.

The bombing in Oklahoma City was an attack on innocent children and defenseless citizens. It was an act of cowardice, and it was evil. The United States will not tolerate it. And I will not allow the people of this country to be intimidated by evil cowards.
I have met with our team, which we assembled to deal with this bombing. And I have determined to take the following steps to assure the strongest response to this situation:
First, I have deployed a crisis management team under the leadership of the FBI, working with the Department of Justice, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, military and local authorities. We are sending the world's finest investigators to solve these murders.
Second, I have declared an emergency in Oklahoma City. And at my direction, James Lee Witt, the Director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, is now on his way there to make sure we do everything we can to help the people of Oklahoma deal with the tragedy.
Third, we are taking every precaution to reassure and to protect people who work in or live near other Federal facilities.
Let there be no room for doubt: We will find the people who did this. When we do, justice will be swift, certain, and severe. These people are killers, and they must be treated like killers.

The Navy's experience in the Korean War showed the need for a new long-range strike aircraft with a high subsonic performance at tree-top height to permit under-the-radar penetration of enemy defenses and to be capable of finding and hitting small targets in any weather. The outcome was the Grumman A-6 "Intruder". Manned by a pilot and bombardier/navigator seated side-by-side, the A-6 twin-engined design increased reliability and delivered superior performance to other single-engine designs.

Its address will remain secret until next Thursday, but Buckingham Palace announced this week that the site will include details on the royal family's homes and its finances, plus 150 color photographs. Had a dream with a lot of details that I can't remember now. At one point, I was sitting at a computer and I was busy working on something and there was a lot of distraction. Someone sent me a hyperlink that I was hoping to get but didn't expect. I can still visualize the hyperlink but I can't remember the letters. The password was 'siren' or 'firehouse.' The link went to a website with a lot of photos about my real life, as I was writing the other day. Then I was sleeping in some trees but some very big dinosaurs came along and started eating the trees and I had to go somewhere else. Then I was standing on top of an alligator trying to avoid it from biting my feet and I was trying to get away from it into a house.

At the minimum, I would want to be back to work so that I have regained some independence. And hey, next time you are in my dreams, dear imaginary girlfriend, how about wearing a bikini? Red would be good, or yellow maybe. That would be sweet!

When Tavener showed me that video back in July 2002, I told Vince later that I wanted to kick his ass but it would as easy as beating up a little girl and I didn't find any thing comforting about that. I had a similar dream the other night. I was sitting with a group of people, but not sure where it was. It seemed to be something Microsoft related, as though I was still working there, but I didn't recognize the location. Bill Gates walked up, I think I had been expecting to talk to him. He looked at me with a glare that I thought was humorous. I got up and went to talk to him. We were standing someplace that did look familar. It looked like that area where the company store is located. I saw on the news the other day that he was giving some kind of speech over there. When he and I were talking, we were standing on that side street that runs next to the company store. Then, we were talking in a place that was a little ways down the street in what I guess
was a park. It sort of reminded me of the downtown CDA park but as I remember it in the dream, I was still near the company store. I can't remember what we spoke of, but at some point, I was throwing him around like a rag doll. I hate the thought of beating up someone that is so wimpy. I killed him at one point and then threw his corpse behind some wall. A maintenance worker find his body seconds after that though although he couldn't see me as I was on higher ground, some kind of embankment. The dream ended and I regretted killing Bill Gates because I knew the cops would know I did it. They would question everyone in the park and I am not a very good liar. I did not regret killing Bill Gates, I just regretted getting caught killing Bill Gates.

Same Concerns, Different Angles -- Don Bonker And Patty Murray Debate The Issues In Senate Race

OLYMPIA - While tossing off a couple of weak jokes about his tie, her shoes and even their wristwatches, Don Bonker and Patty Murray did get around to the issues.
As the first debate between the two prominent Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate, this was to be a test of substance.
Trouble was, with a couple of exceptions, the jokes offered as much help in distinguishing the candidates yesterday as the debate did.
For example, Bonker said he was in the race to address the economic well-being of the country, while Murray said she's motivated by pressures on individual and family finances.
Those differences in perspective are what Murray has continued to stress. She started a running joke months ago by relating a story about an Olympia lawmaker who said Murray would never be taken seriously because she was "just a mom in tennis shoes." With that, the tennis shoe became the symbol of her campaign and she began decrying all the male politicians wearing blue suits and red ties.
So yesterday, awkwardly acknowledging Murray's joke, Bonker began the debate by taking off his red tie - though he kept on a blue blazer.

Patty Murray Vs. Adams -- State Lawmaker Is First Democrat To Go For Senate Seat

OLYMPIA - State Sen. Patty Murray, who made her political entrance just four years ago with an upset election to the Legislature, now has a loftier goal: toppling fellow Democrat Sen. Brock Adams.
Murray, who represents the Shoreline area north of Seattle, said yesterday she will run for the U.S. Senate in 1992 as a self-styled "voice for middle-class families."
She said she would file election papers next week, making her the first Democrat to jump in against Adams. She probably won't be the last.
Former U.S. Rep. Mike Lowry of Seattle, who has a large and loyal following among party liberals, also is expected to run in what is shaping up to be a bruising Democratic primary. Lowry says he won't officially announce his 1992 election plans until after New Year's Day.
But he said he would drop a broad hint tonight when he mails out a fund-raising letter to 25,000 supporters in which "I try to remove any questions about when and if I run, what I will run for."
Several Democratic insiders say Lowry has, in fact, made up his mind to seek the Senate seat that has eluded him in two previous races.
Murray said her candidacy would stress family issues: improving schools, better access to health care and higher education, and tax relief for the middle class.
"It's not just Brock, it's the whole U.S. Senate," she said. "It's very clear there is a void back there and I'm going to fill it. Nobody back there represents the interests of ordinary families, who are in big trouble."

Mania
Mania is a severe medical condition characterized by extremely elevated mood, energy, unusual thought patterns and sometimes psychosis. There are several possible causes for mania, but it is most often associated with bipolar disorder, where episodes of mania may cyclically alternate with episodes of major depression. These cycles may relate to diurnal rhythms and environmental stressors. Mania varies in intensity, from mild mania (known as hypomania) to full-blown mania with psychotic features (hallucinations and delusions).
Manic patients may need to be hospitalized to protect themselves and others.
Symptoms of mania include rapid speech, racing thoughts, decreased need for sleep, hypersexuality, euphoria, impulsiveness, grandiosity, and increased interest in goal-directed activities. Mild forms of mania, known as hypomania, cause little or no impairment, but some people who suffer from prolonged hypomania may develop full mania.
Another symptom of mania is racing thoughts during which the sufferer is excessively distracted by unimportant stimuli. This negative experience creates an inability to function and an absentmindedness where the manic individual's thoughts totally preoccupy him or her, making him or her unable to keep track of time or be aware of anything besides the neurological pattern of thoughts.
Manic symptoms include irritability, anger or rage, delusions, hypersensitivity, hypersexuality, hyper-religiosity, hyperactivity, impulsiveness, racing thoughts, talkativeness, pressure to keep talking or rapid speech, and grandiose ideas and plans, decreased need for sleep (e.g. feels rested after 3 or 4 hours of sleep). In manic and hypomanic cases, the afflicted person may engage in out of character behavior such as questionable business transactions, wasteful expenditures of money, risky sexual activity, abnormal social interaction, or highly vocal arguments uncharacteristic of previous behaviors. These behaviors increase stress in personal relationships, problems at work and increases the risk of altercations with law enforcement as well as being at high risk of impulsively taking part in activities potentially harmful to self and others.

Public back in Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle has opened to the public for the first time since fire destroyed more than 100 rooms in 1992.
The fire, on November 20 1992, severely damaged the north-east section of the castle, including St George's Hall and the Grand Reception Room.
It started in the chapel, where the heat of a spotlight caused a curtain to ignite.
Flames quickly spread and it took 250 firefighters from across London and the Home Counties more than 15 hours to put out the blaze, while the Queen stood watching.

LONDON -- A major fire that burned for hours destroyed parts of Windsor Castle, the 900-year-old palace 20 miles west of London where Queen Elizabeth II spends most of her weekends.
As firefighters battled the spectacular blaze Friday, the queen and her second son, Prince Andrew, joined the effort to save priceless paintings and other artworks.
Andrew, who was in another part of the castle when the fire broke out, joined a human chain that passed pictures, tables, clocks and other irreplaceable antiques from hand to hand to safety.
The queen later came from Buckingham Palace in London to inspect the damage and joined the effort.
"She is helping to take stuff out of the castle -- works of art. She has been in there for 30 minutes," Andrew told reporters.
St. George's Hall, a soaring gallery where state banquets often are held, was "a nasty mess," Andrew said, and the ornate Grand Reception Room was full of acrid smoke.
But he said that he and workers at the castle had managed to save a centuries-old set of pictorial tapestries by yanking them down from their mountings.
"The queen is devastated, absolutely devastated," Andrew said.
The fire, reported at 11:37 a.m. (5:37 a.m. Houston time), was spotted in curtains in the private royal chapel, where workers were wrapping up paintings in preparation for renovation work, Andrew told reporters.
By midafternoon, crews believed that they had the blaze under control. But after dusk, bursts of flame spurted from the castle's roofs; Brunswick Tower was blazing well into the evening.

Checkers speech
The "Checkers speech" was given by Richard Nixon on September 23, 1952, when he was the Republican candidate for the Vice Presidency. The speech, broadcast nationwide from the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, was one of the first political uses of television to appeal directly to the populace.
Nixon, having been accused of accepting $18,000 (which equates to approximately $140,000 in 2007 dollars) in illegal campaign contributions, gave a live address to the nation in which he revealed the results of an independent audit that was conducted on his finances, exonerating him of any malfeasance. The money, he asserted, did not go to him for personal use, nor did it count as income, but rather as reimbursement for expenses. He followed with a complete financial history of his personal assets, finances, and debts, including his mortgages, life insurance, and loans, all of which had the effect of painting him as living a rather austere lifestyle. He denied that his wife Pat had a mink coat; instead, she wore a "respectable Republican cloth coat."
The one contribution he admitted receiving was from a Texas traveling salesman named Lou Carrol who gave his family an American Cocker Spaniel, which his daughter named "Checkers." Nixon admitted that this gift could be made into an issue by some, but maintained that he didn't care, stating "the kids, like all kids, love the dog and I just want to say this right now, that regardless of what they say about it, we're gonna keep it."
Nixon then challenged Democratic Presidential candidate Adlai Stevenson to give a similar public account of his finances, and attacked alleged corruption in the Truman administration. Furthermore he accused Truman's foreign policy of being a failure that led to the Korean War. He ended with an appeal to the public to wire and write to the Republican National Committee to give their advice on whether he should remain the Vice-Presidential nominee.
The speech was simulcast on radio and was a resounding success overall. Nixon, whom many expected to be dropped from the ticket, gained widespread sympathy and remained Eisenhower's running mate.
