Watching this now on the so-called "Free Movies!" section of the Comcast cable television subscription I have out of Seattle Washington reminds me of something that happened during those 300 days in 2005 and 2006 I lived in the Pioneer Square homeless shelter gulag on the waterfront in downtown Seattle Washington. I cannot recall is that was in late 2005 or mid-2006 when I was walking outside the building through the deserted city streets and someone was calling out after me. I would often go out of the building in the 4 AM or so hours and go for coffee and one morning when it was still dark, although in the summers in Seattle by 5 AM the sky is pretty well lighted, which might mean that was June 2006, but who knows because the sky was still dark that morning, and that morning I was walking along the usual route I took and someone was calling out at me from probably a city block away or maybe less. I ignored him and kept walking but I write about it now because I remember he specifically said something similar to "You in the shorts." I didn't turn around and I didn't hear anyone else calling out for me but I remember it now because of how they are running around in the deserted streets of early morning Los Angeles trying to find a helicopter pilot.
