I am the Union of the United States federal government.

Whoa. That house is clearly and distinctly different from when I "remember" owning it. That rock face section of the front of the house is clearly on the wrong side of the door. And the patio now seems to be enclosed by the same rock material. Enclosing the patio is not that surprising. But why would anyone go to the trouble and expense of moving the front door to another point on the wall? The way is looks now, the walk-in closet in the downstairs bedroom would be where the front door is now located.

But could that be what happened? I don't think so. The placement of the window for that bedroom looks to be in the same place and the corner area that extrudes seems to be right. But in my mind, that rock face was on the left side of the door. I can still visualize the brochure for that house from when I "remember" buying it and I somewhere clearly remember it because I was later doodling on the photo and I was drawing with an ink pen on that rock face section.

That building we worked at in downtown Charlotte NC after leaving Greenville SC is the Wachovia building but I cannot recall if it was the Wachovia building when we were there and I never have been able to recall the name of that bank we had the contract with. Looking at the corner of Tryon and Martin Luther King Jr Blvd that is clearly the building we worked in. That must have been 1994 and 1995 and I "remember" working for UFP.

First Union. That was the name. I just saw that name on the map and that was the name although I think they were later bought out by Wachovia.

I can "remember" several times walking on a cold morning in the winter from where I parked at the corner of Stonewall and College to that bank building. In the context of my artificial memory, there was only a parking lot there at that corner.

Stonewall Jackson

Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson (January 21, 1824 – May 10, 1863) was a Confederate general during the American Civil War, and probably the most well-known Confederate commander after General Robert E. Lee. His military career includes the Valley Campaign of 1862 and his service as a corps commander in the Army of Northern Virginia under Robert E. Lee. Confederate pickets accidentally shot him at the Battle of Chancellorsville on May 2, 1863, which the general survived, albeit with the loss of an arm to amputation. However, he died of complications of pneumonia eight days later. His death was a severe setback for the Confederacy, affecting not only its military prospects, but also the morale of its army and of the general public.

Jackson rose to prominence and earned his most famous nickname at the First Battle of Bull Run (First Manassas) on July 21, 1861. As the Confederate lines began to crumble under heavy Union assault, Jackson's brigade provided crucial reinforcements on Henry House Hill, demonstrating the discipline he instilled in his men. Brig. Gen. Barnard Elliott Bee, Jr., exhorted his own troops to re-form by shouting, "There is Jackson standing like a stone wall. Let us determine to die here, and we will conquer. Rally behind the Virginians!" There is some controversy over Bee's statement and intent, which could not be clarified because he was killed almost immediately after speaking and none of his subordinate officers wrote reports of the battle. Major Burnett Rhett, chief of staff to General Joseph E. Johnston, claimed that Bee was angry at Jackson's failure to come immediately to the relief of Bee's and Bartow's brigades while they were under heavy pressure. Those who subscribe to this opinion believe that Bee's statement was meant to be pejorative: "Look at Jackson standing there like a damned stone wall!"
