I have communicated most of these same details and more to the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Justice, and I wanted to also inform you of my observations.
I currently maintain an official United States federal undercover identity and I began that assignment on 12/7/1998 to investigate Microsoft Corporation sponsored terrorism. My deployment start date is recorded as 3/15/1998 and 3/16/1998 and I have been 100% deployed since then without even being able to visit with my family. I have not yet been granted permission to resume my true identity. And there is predictability to the terrorists attacks I have survived to this point.

This seemed like a positive message about South Carolina when I first saw it. I remember that day well, working at Microsoft Corporation with my official United States federal identity. I remember that I was wearing a long-sleeved heavy gray shirt with a green mock turtleneck under it on that first day and when Microsoft Corporation took my employee photo, assigning me the number 75612. They put me into a cubicle next to a guy named Ken Burns, reminding me of the film maker with the same name.

I took note of that announcement from South Carolina because Microsoft Corporation had just transported me from Rock Hill, South Carolina, for that 12/7/1998 start date for my job. Absolutely every aspect of that employment in the Microsoft Bellevue office was arranged by Microsoft. A Microsoft employee contacted me to ask if I wanted to go to work at Microsoft and then Microsoft arranged the interview process. A few years later, as I was still working there at Microsoft Corporation with my official United States federal undercover identity and Microsoft re-issued those security badges. I remember that well because they had a guy named Clarence, who was from Hawaii, sitting directly across the aisle from me in another cubicle and he was one of the people I heard spreading rumors that I was a U.S. Navy SEAL, which I denied. I remember when got that new Microsoft security badge, it had the same photo that was taken of me on 12/7/1998, but it was re-issued with a red smudge on my forehead.
Back in 1998, Microsoft offered me employment and then made all the arrangements to transport my household possessions, associated with my official United States federal identity, to Bellevue, Washington. Among those official United States identity possessions was a rather beat up burgundy Buick car. The transportation company made detailed notes on the dents and dings in the car, as it had seen better days. A few weeks after started working at Microsoft, I took that Buick over to the Washington State Patrol and a person there seemed concerned because I didn't have any form of license plates on that car.
I was still living directly across the street from the Bellevue Police Department at the time I went to license that burgundy Buick. I remember that Microsoft made arrangements for me to stay in a corporate apartment for the first 30 days and after the end of those 30 days, I found my own place, which was directly across the street from the Bellevue City Police Department.

United States v. Microsoft 87 F. Supp. 2d 30 (D.D.C. 2000) was a court case filed against Microsoft Corporation on May 18, 1998 by the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) and twenty U.S. states.
Judge Jackson issued his findings of fact on November 5, 1999, which stated that Microsoft's dominance of the personal computer operating systems market constituted a monopoly, and that Microsoft had taken actions to crush threats to the monopoly, including Apple, Java, Netscape, Lotus Notes, Real Networks, Linux, and others. Then on April 3, 2000, he issued a two-part ruling: his conclusions of law were that Microsoft had committed monopolization, attempted monopolization, and tying in violation of Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act, and his remedy was that Microsoft must be broken into two separate units, one to produce the operating system, and one to produce other software components.
On September 26, 2000, after Judge Jackson issued his findings of fact, in order to save time the plaintiffs attempted to send Microsoft's appeal directly to the Supreme Court. However, the Supreme Court declined to hear the appeal and sent the case to a federal appeals court. The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously overturned Judge Jackson's rulings against Microsoft on browser tying and attempted monopolization on grounds that he gave embargoed interviews to the news media while he was still hearing the case, in violation of the Code of Conduct for US Judges [11]. Judge Jackson did not attend the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals hearing, in which Jackson was repeatedly and vehemently denounced by the appeals court judges, who accused Jackson of unethical conduct and determined he should have recused himself from the case[12].
Judge Jackson's response to this was that Microsoft's conduct itself was the cause of any "perceived bias"; Microsoft executives had "proved, time and time again, to be inaccurate, misleading, evasive, and transparently false. ... Microsoft is a company with an institutional disdain for both the truth and for rules of law that lesser entities must respect. It is also a company whose senior management is not averse to offering specious testimony to support spurious defenses to claims of its wrongdoing."
This guy not only wanted to ruin Valerie Plames career at CIA but he has also pledged to ensure she will never re-establish a covert identity with the U.S. Intelligence community.

In the 1993 World Trade Center bombings (February 26, 1993) a car bomb was detonated by Arab terrorists in the underground parking garage below Tower One of the World Trade Center in New York City. The 1,056-lb (680 kg) urea nitrate-fuel oil device killed six and injured 1,042 people. It was intended to devastate the foundation of the North Tower, causing it to collapse onto its twin.
As I recall, the day 12/14/1998 was the strike date for my first group of stock options from Microsoft. The charts indicate that the closing price that day was 127.94 and that was the lowest of the 30-day period after I started. I doubt is a coincidence. The date 10/12/2000 is when the USS Cole DDG-67 was hit, with the loss of many American lives.

Before these attacks occurred, Microsoft Corporation made arrangements that would require me to travel a few days after 9/11/2001 all the way across the country in a civilian airliner. The nature of the work I was sent to Charlotte, North Carolina, could have just as easily been performed in the Seattle-area offices. A few months later, the Ilan Ramon look-alike that I have reported before, named Tom Devey, and part of my team with Ramona Ramadas, seemed nervous when he found out that I was flying on a civilian airliner the same time he was as Microsoft Corporation had arranged for us to attend the Professional Developers Conference in Los Angeles.

(a) Whoever, when the United States is at war, willfully makes or conveys false reports or false statements with intent to interfere with the operation or success of the military or naval forces of the United States or to promote the success of its enemies; or Whoever, when the United States is at war, willfully causes or attempts to cause insubordination, disloyalty, mutiny, or refusal of duty, in the military or naval forces of the United States, or willfully obstructs the recruiting or enlistment service of the United States, to the injury of the service or the United States, or attempts to do so— Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.
(b) If two or more persons conspire to violate subsection (a) of this section and one or more such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each of the parties to such conspiracy shall be punished as provided in said subsection (a).
(c) Whoever harbors or conceals any person who he knows, or has reasonable grounds to believe or suspect, has committed, or is about to commit, an offense under this section, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.
