To: Governor Gregoire
From: Kerry W. Burgess (official United States federal undercover identity, an identity completely compromised by forces hostile to the United States of America)
Governor,
I have communicated these details and more to the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Justice, and I wanted to also inform you of my observations.
I currently maintain an official United States federal undercover identity and I began that assignment on 12/7/1998 to investigate Microsoft Corporation sponsored terrorism. My deployment start date is recorded as 3/15/1998 and 3/16/1998 and I have been 100% deployed since then without even being able to visit with my family. I have not yet been granted permission to resume my true identity. And there is predictability to the terrorists attacks I have survived to this point.

United States Navy SEALs
The United States Navy Sea, Air and Land (SEAL) forces are the Special Operations Forces of the U.S. Navy, employed in unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, direct action, Counter-Terrorism, hostage rescue, and special reconnaissance operations.
Those qualified to become Navy SEALs are authorized, after completing Basic Underwater Demolition SEAL school (BUD/S) and a specialized program known as SQT (SEAL Qualification Training), to wear and display the Special Warfare Badge, also known as the SEAL Trident. This badge serves as the insignia for the SEALs as a whole and is one of the most recognizable warfare insignia among U.S. Special Operations Forces. It is usually worn along with the U.S. Navy paratrooper wings, which are awarded after 10 jumps. In order to blend in with units they are supporting, Navy SEALS wear modified versions of all service Battle Dress Uniforms (BDUs). However, during the Vietnam War, SEAL members wore 'tiger stripe' camouflage uniforms, often with civilian blue jeans and 'coral' sneakers, for patrol missions.
SEAL ethics
The SEAL code
"Loyalty to Country, Team and Teammate Serve with Honor and Integrity On and Off the Battlefield, Ready to Lead, Ready to Follow, Never Quit, Take responsibility for your actions and the actions of your teammates, Excel as Warriors through Discipline and Innovation, Train for War, Fight to Win, Defeat our Nation’s Enemies, Earn your Trident everyday."
SEAL creed
"In times of war or uncertainty there is a special breed of warrior ready to answer our Nation’s call. A common man with uncommon desire to succeed. Forged by adversity, he stands alongside America’s finest special operations forces to serve his country, the American people, and protect their way of life. I am that man.
My Trident is a symbol of honor and heritage. Bestowed upon me by the heroes that have gone before, it embodies the trust of those I have sworn to protect. By wearing the Trident I accept the responsibility of my chosen profession and way of life. It is a privilege that I must earn every day.
My loyalty to Country and Team is beyond reproach. I humbly serve as a guardian to my fellow Americans always ready to defend those who are unable to defend themselves. I do not advertise the nature of my work, nor seek recognition for my actions. I voluntarily accept the inherent hazards of my profession, placing the welfare and security of others before my own.
I serve with honor on and off the battlefield. The ability to control my emotions and my actions, regardless of circumstance, sets me apart from other men. Uncompromising integrity is my standard. My character and honor are steadfast. My word is my bond.
We expect to lead and be led. In the absence of orders I will take charge, lead my teammates and accomplish the mission. I lead by example in all situations.
I will never quit. I persevere and thrive on adversity. My Nation expects me to be physically harder and mentally stronger than my enemies. If knocked down, I will get back up, every time. I will draw on every remaining ounce of strength to protect my teammates and to accomplish our mission. I am never out of the fight.
We demand discipline. We expect innovation. The lives of my teammates and the success of our mission depend on me - my technical skill, tactical proficiency, and attention to detail. My training is never complete.
We train for war and fight to win. I stand ready to bring the full spectrum of combat power to bear in order to achieve my mission and the goals established by my country. The execution of my duties will be swift and violent when required yet guided by the very principles that I serve to defend.
Brave men have fought and died building the proud tradition and feared reputation that I am bound to uphold. In the worst of conditions, the legacy of my teammates steadies my resolve and silently guides my every deed. I will not fail."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iceberg
An iceberg is a large piece of freshwater ice that has broken off from a snow-formed glacier or ice shelf and is floating in open water
Since the density of pure water ice is ca. 920 kg/m³, and that of sea water ca. 1025 kg/m³, typically, only one ninth of the volume of an iceberg is above water. The shape of the remainder under the water can be difficult to surmise from looking at what is visible above the surface. This has led to the expression "tip of the iceberg", generally applied to a problem or difficulty, meaning that the visible trouble is only a small manifestation of a larger problem.
Just as I woke up the other day I was thinking again of Phoebe's "Drop Dead Fred." The "Fred," as I noted, could be about Frederiksted, and the "Drop Dead," I was thinking this morning, is about me losing consciousness at our 7/21/1987 wedding ceremony. In the context of my artificial and symbolic memory, I "remember" that Frederiksted, St. Croix, is where I was almost knocked over the side of the ship as we were mooring to a buoy off the coast of that town. The anchor chain broke away and we almost lost it before a stainless steel span way wire we had rigged up prevented it from going all the way to the ocean floor. I was at the very tip of the bow of the ship and didn't have much manuevering room to get away from the fast moving chain as it was headed straight for me.
Phoebe was 333 months, 4 days, old on the day after "Drop Dead Fred" premiered, which is within the day-of-week scheduling constraint.

Memorable quotes for
Drop Dead Fred (1991)
Fred: Well why don't we harpoon Charles straight through the head, drag him back to the apartment, and hit him with a hammer until he agrees to come back?
Elizabeth: Harpoon him through the head. That won't work Fred.
Fred: Why not? How many times have you tried it?
There was that "Futurama" episode with the lost city of "Atlanta" that makes me wonder if I salvaged that Harpoon missile the Iranians shot at the Wainwright on 4/18/1988. I have been thinking I was the leader of the USN SEAL team that was attached to Wainwright during Operation Praying Mantis, and that photo of the U.S. Navy Lieutenant on the bridge of the USS Ronald Reagan, as I noted earlier, makes think that is true, considering that I was probably still a U.S. Navy Lieutenant back then.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_Harpoon
The Harpoon is an all-weather, over-the-horizon, anti-ship missile system, originally developed by McDonnell Douglas of the United States, with development and manufacturing now taken over by Boeing Integrated Defense Systems. In 2004, Boeing delivered the 7,000th Harpoon unit since the weapon's introduction in 1977. The missile system has also been further developed into a coastal strike version, the Standoff Land Attack Missile (SLAM).

The attack on USS Samuel B. Roberts FFG-31 resulted in Operation Praying Mantis. In my symbolic and artificial memories, I served onboard the USS Wainwright CG-28. In my role on the Wainwright, I was a computer technician for the guided-missile fire control computer systems on that ship. One of my secondary responsibilities on that ship in my artificial memories is that I was the Captain’s phone-talker on the bridge during Special Sea and Anchor Detail. I believe in reality, I was a U.S. Navy Lieutenant in charge of a U.S. Navy SEAL platoon that was embarked on Wainwright for Operation Praying Mantis. The news reports that I read indicate that the Iranian missile-boat Joshan raced in, on what was surely a suicide mission, to within 10 miles of the Wainwright to fire a Harpoon anti-ship missile at the Wainwright. I am certain that was another attempt to hit a ship specifically because I was on that ship.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Praying_Mantis
Operation Praying Mantis was the April 18, 1988 action waged by U.S. naval forces in retaliation for the Iranian mining of the Persian Gulf and the subsequent damage to an American warship.
On April 14, the guided missile frigate USS Samuel B. Roberts struck a mine while sailing in the Persian Gulf as part of Operation Earnest Will, the 1987-88 convoy missions in which U.S. warships escorted reflagged Kuwaiti oil tankers to protect them from Iranian attacks. The explosion put a 25-foot hole in the Roberts' hull and nearly sank it. But the crew saved their ship with no loss of life, and Roberts was towed to Dubai on April 16.
After the mining, U.S. Navy divers recovered other mines in the area. When the serial numbers were found to match those of mines seized along with the Iran Ajr the previous September, U.S. military officials planned a retaliatory operation against Iranian targets in the Gulf.
The battle, the largest for American surface forces since World War II,[1] sank two Iranian warships and as many as six armed speedboats. It also marked the first surface-to-surface missile engagement in U.S. Navy history.
The attack by the U.S. helped pressure Iran to agree to a ceasefire with Iraq later that summer, ending the eight-year conflict between the Persian Gulf neighbors.

"The Inner Light" is the twenty fifth episode of the fifth season of the science fiction television series Star Trek: The Next Generation, the penultimate episode of the season.
Airdate June 1, 1992
The Enterprise-D is followed by a space probe. When the probe scans the ship, Picard staggers and is rendered unconscious.
He wakes to find himself being tended to by a woman, who tells him he has come out of a fever. She refers to him as Kamin, and claims to be his wife. He establishes that he is on a non-federation planet called Kataan, and sets about finding a way to send a message. Outside he meets a man by the name of Batai, who is troubled by his strange questions and apparent lack of memory. Picard visits a lookout offering a view of the town of Ressik. Later his "wife" tells him that he works as an ironweaver and he enjoys practicing the flute. He notices she is wearing a necklace with a decoration in the shape of the probe.
On the bridge of the Enterprise, Dr. Crusher finds that the probe is transmitting a signal to Picard, and that he is experiencing dramatically increased neural activity. They are unable to block the probe but decide that firing on it may put the captain's health at risk.
On Kataan, five years later, Picard charts the stars while his wife remarks that none of his stories of his supposed former life mention a loving partner. At a town meeting, Picard impresses a regional administrator by suggesting that atmospheric condensers be built to relieve the prolonged drought. Batai feels that Kamin is once again acting as a member of the community. Later that night, Picard confesses to his wife that the relationship has been one-sided, and decides that it is time to start a family.
On the bridge, Data finds a way to block the signal. Riker, believing the probe is hostile, gives the go-ahead despite Dr. Crusher's objections.
Four years later, with a daughter and newborn son, Picard realises that his life wouldn't be complete without children. He collapses when the probe's beam is blocked, and on the Enterprise his body quickly begins to die. Crusher attempts to stabilize him, but only re-establishing the signal averts his death.
Many years later, Picard chides his fully grown daughter for placing scientific pursuits above the social. By now the drought has become serious enough to threaten all life on the planet.
The Enterprise tracks the probe's trail to its planet of origin, Kataan, a lifeless planet whose star went nova a millennium ago.
An old Picard discusses his adult son's career choices. He presents his findings about the planet's fate to the administrator, who by now is an old friend. However the administrator has been aware of the problem for the past two years, but the government chose not to inform the public. He assures Picard that despite the lack of spacefaring technology the government does have a plan to save some remnant of the society. His son calls him back to the house where his wife soon dies. Some years later, an ancient Picard interrupts his play with his grandson to watch a missile launch: the launch of the probe. His wife and old friend Batai appear as when he first saw them, and they tell him that the probe is a way for them to live on.
On the bridge, the transmission from the probe ceases and Picard wakes up, recalling distant memories of his life aboard the Enterprise. He can scarcely believe that only 25 minutes have passed in realtime.
Later, in his ready room, Riker gives Picard a small box that was found inside the probe and leaves him alone. Inside, Picard finds Kamin's flute, which he had gradually mastered over the years. Treasuring the memory of his life on Kataan, he adeptly plays a tune.

Proclamation 4413 - National Day of Prayer for Americans Missing in Action in Southeast Asia
January 21st, 1976
Three years have passed since the signing of the Paris Agreement ending United States combat involvement in the Vietnam War.
That agreement contained specific provisions for the accounting of combatants designated as missing in action, and for the return of the remains of American war dead.
Despite this long passage of time, and despite the fact the war is now over, a satisfactory accounting still has not been completed. A cruel shadow of doubt hangs over hundreds of American families who have no knowledge of the whereabouts of their loved ones.
This Nation continues to explore every avenue of potential progress toward a resolution of this painful and frustrating situation. The recent Presidential visit to the People's Republic of China brought forth some hope for progress in this matter. The efforts of a Select Committee of the Congress to account for missing persons also have met with some success.
As we continue these efforts, it is essential for the Nation to be always mindful of the plight of the men whose circumstances are unknown and of the families whose sorrow we know only too well.
Further, it is important that all of us recall that the watchful eye of our Creator is upon us and upon those we love. We take comfort in the fact that each of us, in our own way, may call upon our God for guidance, for solace, and for strength to endure.
It is thus fitting for the entire country to join in one voice to declare our unalterable commitment to seek the fullest possible accounting for those lost in combat.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GERALD R. FORD, President of the United States of America, do hereby designate Sunday, January 25, 1976, as a National Day of Prayer for Americans Missing in Action in Southeast Asia.
I call upon all Americans and all churches throughout the Nation to mark this day with prayers for these brave men and for their families.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-first day of January, in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred seventy-six, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundredth.

Coming Back To Life Lyrics
Where were you when I was burned and broken
While the days slipped by from my window watching
Where were you when I was hurt and helpless
Because the things you say and the things you do surround me
While you were hanging yourself on someone else's words
Dying to believe in what you heard
I was staring straight into the shining sun
Lost in thought and lost in time
While the seeds of lifeand the seeds of change were planted
Outside the rain fell dark and slow
While I pondered on this dangerous but irresistible pastime
I took a heavenly ride through our silence
I knew the moment had arrived
For killing the past and coming back to life
I took a heavenly ride through our silence
I knew the waiting had begun
And headed straight..into the shining sun

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motion_%28physics%29
In physics, motion means a continuous change in the position of a body relative to a reference point, as measured by a particular observer in a particular frame of reference. Until the end of the 19th century, Isaac Newton's laws of motion, which he posited as axioms or postulates in his famous Principia were the basis of what has since become known as classical physics. Calculations of trajectories and forces of bodies in motion based on Newtonian or classical physics were very successful until physicists began to be able to measure and observe very fast physical phenomena.
At very high speeds, the equations of classical physics were not able to calculate accurate values. To address these problems, the ideas of Henri Poincaré and Albert Einstein concerning the fundamental phenomenon of motion were adopted in lieu of Newton's. Whereas Newton's laws of motion assumed absolute values of space and time in the equations of motion, the model of Einstein and Poincaré, now called the special theory of relativity, assumed values for these concepts with arbitrary zero points. Because (for example) the special relativity equations yielded accurate results at high speeds and Newton's did not, the special relativity model is now accepted as explaining bodies in motion (when we ignore gravity). However, as a practical matter, Newton's equations are much easier to work with than those of special relativity and therefore are more often used in applied physics and engineering.
In the newtonian model, because motion is defined as the proportion of space to time, these concepts are prior to motion, just as the concept of motion itself is prior to force. In other words, the properties of space and time determine the nature of motion and the properties of motion, in turn, determine the nature of force.
In the special relativistic model, motion can be thought of as something like an angle between a space direction and the time direction.
In special relativity and Euclidean space, only relative motion can be measured, and absolute motion is meaningless.
An object is in motion when its distance from another object is changing.Whether the object is moving or not depends on your point of view. For example, a woman riding in a bus is not moving in relation to the seat she is sitting on, but she is moving in relation to the buildings the bus passes. A reference point is a place or object used for comparison to determine if something is in motion. An object is in motion if it changes position relative to a reference point. You assume that the reference point is stationary, or not moving.
Types of Motion
A pendulum exhibits Simple harmonic motion, or, motion that is constantly being accelerated towards a midpoint. Other types of motion include Linear motion and Reciprocation. Examples of naturally occurring motion are Brownian Motion (the movement of particles), and the orbits of planets.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newton%27s_laws_of_motion
Newton's laws of motion are three physical laws which provide relationships between the forces acting on a body and the motion of the body, first compiled by Sir Isaac Newton. Newton's laws were first published together in his work Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica (1687). The laws form the basis for classical mechanics. Newton used them to explain many results concerning the motion of physical objects. In the third volume of the text, he showed that the laws of motion, combined with his law of universal gravitation, explained Kepler's laws of planetary motion.
Briefly stated, the three laws are:
An object in motion will remain in motion unless acted upon by a net force.
Force equals mass multiplied by acceleration.
To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kepler%27s_laws_of_planetary_motion
In astronomy, Kepler's laws of planetary motion are three mathematical laws that describe the motion of planets in the Solar System. German mathematician and astronomer Johannes Kepler (1571–1630) discovered them.
Kepler studied the observations of the legendarily precise Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe. Around 1605, Kepler found that Brahe's observations of the planets' positions followed three relatively simple mathematical laws.
Kepler's laws challenged Aristotelean and Ptolemaic astronomy and physics. His assertion that the Earth moved, his use of ellipses rather than epicycles, and his proof that the planets' speeds varied, changed astronomy and physics. Nevertheless, the physical explanation of the planets' behavior came almost a century later, when Isaac Newton was able to deduce Kepler's laws from Newton's own laws of motion and his law of universal gravitation, using his invention of calculus. Other models of gravitation would give empirically false results.
Kepler's three laws are:
The orbit of every planet is an ellipse with the sun at one of the foci. An ellipse is characterized by its two focal points; see illustration. Thus, Kepler rejected the ancient Aristotelean and Ptolemaic and Copernican belief in circular motion.
A line joining a planet and the sun sweeps out equal areas during equal intervals of time as the planet travels along its orbit. This means that the planet travels faster while close to the sun and slows down when it is farther from the sun. With his law, Kepler destroyed the Aristotelean astronomical theory that planets have uniform velocity.
The squares of the orbital periods of planets are directly proportional to the cubes of the semi-major axes (the "half-length" of the ellipse) of their orbits. This means not only that larger orbits have longer periods, but also that the speed of a planet in a larger orbit is lower than in a smaller orbit. His third law is based on the foundation left by Copernicus, because he uses a mathematical expression to show the correlation between T (time for one revolution) and D (distance from the sun).
Kepler's laws are formulated below, and are derived from Newton's laws, using heliocentric polar coordinates . However, Kepler's laws can alternatively be formulated and derived using Cartesian coordinates.

The Kongo class of guided missile destroyers, a modification of the United States of America (U.S.) Navy Arleigh Burke class (Flight I), serves as the core ship of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF)'s Escort Flotillas. The Kongo class employs the highly advanced Aegis fire control system and is armed with the RIM-66 SM-2 Block II surface-to-air missile, RUM-139 vertically launched anti-submarine rocket, the RGM-84 Harpoon anti-ship missile, two Mark 15 20 mm CIWS gun mounts, two torpedo mounts in a triple tube configuration, and an Oto Melara 127 mm/54 caliber gun. Its Mark 41 vertical launch system can hold 90 missiles. However, in keeping with the defensive mission of the JMSDF and passive role of the Japan Self-Defense Forces in general, the Kongo-class lacks the Tomahawk missile.
All Kongo-class destroyers take their names from Japan's mountains, the class name referring to Mount Kongo.
