To: Governor Gregoire

From: Kerry W. Burgess (official United States federal undercover identity, an identity completely compromised by forces hostile to the United States of America)

Governor,

I have communicated most of these same details and more to the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Justice, and I wanted to also inform you of my observations.

I currently maintain an official United States federal undercover identity and I began that assignment on 12/7/1998 to investigate Microsoft Corporation sponsored terrorism. My deployment start date is recorded as 3/15/1998 and 3/16/1998 and I have been 100% deployed since then without even being able to visit with my family. I have not yet been granted permission to resume my true identity. And there is predictability to the terrorists attacks I have survived to this point.

As I noted, there are forces hostile to the United States of America operating in the State of Washington and as has been common to my life, those hostile forces and national traitors are usually following me around and working to disrupt my family life.

I'm just trying to finish my assigment and get back home to my family.

In my own country, a slave to my past heroics, the object of criminal conspiracy.

The criminal defense attorneys for the pirates I have noted previously are trying to create a criminal defense strategy of how the pirates are only repeating what others told them to say, without understanding what they are being told, as part of their criminal conspiracy to pirate my true identity, which has tremendous commercial value. It is another form of piracy, with Phoebe's movie character in "Gremlins" being an example of the concept. She didn't know that inspiration for those lines, as they relate to my activities in space that were secret even to her. I was doing that because I wanted to her know that while I could not tell her the truth about all my activites, I was working to ensure she was associated with my notable activities when it was all revealed and she would know that I was thinking of her all along and much of my activities were for her and because she has always been so good to me.

% At dawn the next day, Homer awakes from a restless night's sleep.
% Outside, a musical horn blares. It turns out the colonel isn't just
% a blowhard after all. He has arrived right on time, in a motor home
% decorated with dueling society stickers. The colonel stands in
% front of it, expertly twirling a pistol.

Homer: He's out there, isn't he?
Marge: I'm afraid so, and his wife's with him.
Homer: [looks at the wife, who's rather attractive] Growl!
Marge: Homer!
Homer: Hey, I'm not dead yet. [a knock is heard at the door]
Oh! Oh! Save me, Marge! I saved you!
Marge: Why don't you have the colonel's wife save you?
Homer: Oh, Marge, that's in the past. Just let it go.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colonel_%28United_States%29

Colonel (pronounced kernel) is a rank of the United States armed forces. Colonel ranks above a Lieutenant Colonel and below a Brigadier General and holds the pay grade of O-6. The insignia for a Colonel is a silver eagle with a U.S. shield superimposed on its chest and holding an olive branch and bundle of arrows in its talons. The eagle lead to the informal term "full-bird colonel". The rank is used by the Army, Marines, and the Air Force. The equivalent in the Navy or Coast Guard is Captain.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lieutenant_Colonel_%28United_States%29

Lieutenant Colonel is a rank of the United States armed forces which is currently used by the United States Army, United States Air Force, United States Marine Corps, and United States National Guard. The United States Navy equivalent to a Lieutenant Colonel is the rank of Commander. The insignia for a Lieutenant Colonel is a silver oak leaf

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brigadier_General

The rank of Brigadier General has existed in the United States armed forces since the American Revolutionary War. A brigadier general was at first strictly an infantry officer who commanded a brigade, but the responsibilities of the rank drastically expanded throughout the 19th and 20th centuries.

The insignia for a brigadier general is one silver star worn on the shoulder or collar, with the insignia unchanged dating back to the creation of the rank some two centuries ago. Since the Mexican-American War, however, the lower rank of colonel has been the normal rank appointed to command a brigade.

Today, an Army or Marine Corps "BG" typically serves as Deputy Commander to the Commanding General of a division or division-sized units and assists in overseeing the planning and coordination of a mission. An Air Force brigadier general typically commands a large wing. Additionally, one-star generals of all services may serve as high-level staff officers in large military organizations. The rank is the equivalent to the United States Navy rank of rear admiral (lower half).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rear_Admiral_%28upper_half%29

In the United States Navy, the United States Coast Guard, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Corps and the Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, Rear Admiral is considered a "Flag rank" and is divided into two grades. The lower of the two was assigned the grade of Rear Admiral (lower half), which is a one-star rank (RDML), with the pay grade of O-7. The higher was the grade of Rear Admiral (upper half), which is a two-star rank (RADM), with the pay grade of O-8. This practice began in the late 19th century, when rear admirals would be assigned a seniority on the Navy or Coast Guard promotion list. Those on the upper half of the list would receive a higher rate of pay, even though all rear admirals were considered the same rank. Both ranks are normally just called Rear Admiral in all four uniformed services.

When the United States Navy and Coast Guard abolished the rank of commodore (which was also briefly known as "commodore admiral"), Rear Admirals on the lower half of the promotion list assumed duties of one star admirals, although until the 1980s all rear admirals still wore two stars as their badge of rank. Since then, Rear Admiral (lower half) wear one-star while Rear Admiral (upper half) wear two; verbal address remains "rear admiral" for both ranks. On correspondence, where the rear admiral's rank is spelled out, an (LH) and (UH) follows the rear admiral's rank title to distinguish between one and two stars. The military abbreviations for the ranks are RDML (one-star) and RADM (two-stars). Upper half is also occasionally abbreviated as RAUH. The flags flown for rear admirals have one and two white, single point up stars on blue fields for the lower half and upper half.

Homer to the Max

Original Airdate on FOX: 7-Feb-99

(United States) Having the same name as a bumbling TV character prompts a name change for Homer, whose impressive new moniker puts him on Springfield's "A" list. Ed Begley, Jr. has a cameo.

(Canada) Homer is the laughing stock of Springfield when a TV character bears both his name and d'oh-pey personality.

% "Admiral Baby" kicks off the night. On the deck of an enormous ship,
% two officers talk with each other.

Officer #1: We're taking the entire sixth fleet to Candy Island?

Officer #2: Those are the Admiral's orders!

[The Admiral is revealed to be a diapered baby in a crib wearing the appropriate hat and jacket. He loses balance and falls over to a laugh track and funny noises, while the Simpsons look on uninterestedly.]

Marge: It's hard to believe someone that young could have risen to the rank of Admiral.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abe_Simpson

Abraham J. Simpson, perennially known as "Grandpa" Simpson, was born in the "Old Country" (he apparently does not remember which). Almost all of his biographical information is supplied by Abe himself. Many of his stories seem to be wildly inaccurate, often physically or historically impossible, and occasionally inconsistent even with each other, suggesting that Abe is senile. He once referred to Sarah Bernhardt as a former president, and claims to have personally turned cats and dogs against each other. He also said in the episode "King of the Hill" that he died on Mount Springfield. He claims to have emigrated to the United States with his family from an unspecified country. They lived in the Statue of Liberty until they filled the head with garbage and had to move out. He then moved to Albany, New York, where he was supposedly voted "most handsome boy". He claims to have enlisted in the US Army during World War I by lying about his age, as he is a toddler in one war scene.

"Special Edna", is the seventh episode of The Simpsons' fourteenth season. The episode aired on January 5, 2003.

Mrs. Krabappel assigns a paper on World War I, due in three weeks. Martin Prince suggests it should be typed and at least ten pages long. After class, Mrs. Krabappel and Principal Skinner's apple-picking date is cancelled when Skinner's mother calls him away.

At the Simpson household, Bart is distracted from writing his paper, first by wrestling, later by Milhouse showing up a Black Hawk helicopter piloted by his uncle who "will probably be court-martialled for this." Bart goes to the library for research, but - noticing someone paid for one hundred photocopies but only used one - can not resist the opportunity to make ninety-nine photocopies of his butt. The next day, at church, the church-goers open their prayer books, only to see Bart's butt mooning them.

At the end of the three weeks, Bart still hasn't started the assignment. The day before the date of submission, he asks Grampa for help. Grampa's story about his WWI experiences as a four-year-old in the trenches is anything but educational, but Bart writes it down anyway and pads it to ten pages using advertisements. Mrs. Krabappel rejects his paper and tells him he'll have to do it correctly after school. As Bart finishes the assignment after school, he observes Skinner cancel a movie date with Mrs. K when his mother calls. Bart consoles Mrs. K, and she reluctantly accepts his offer to accompany her to the movie, though she is grateful.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Navy_Fighter_Weapons_School

TOPGUN is the popular name of the United States Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor (SFTI) program. SFTI is the modern-day evolution of the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School and carries out the same specialized fighter training as NFWS had from 1969 until 1996, when it was merged into the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center at NAS Fallon, Nevada.

The United States Navy Fighter Weapons School was established on March 3, 1969 at NAS Miramar, California after a United States Navy study (sometimes referred to as the "Ault Report") directed by the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) at less than desired performance of fighter aircraft, aircrews and weapons. The head of the study group, CAPT Frank Ault recommended that a graduate-level school be established to train fleet fighter pilots in air combat tactics to improve the relatively poor air combat performance of Navy aircrews over Vietnam.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-rays

X-rays (or Röntgen rays) are a form of electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength in the range of 10 to 0.01 nanometers, corresponding to frequencies in the range 30 PHz to 30 EHz. X-rays are primarily used for diagnostic radiography and crystallography. X-rays are a form of ionizing radiation and as such can be dangerous. In many languages it is called Röntgen radiation after one of the first investigators of the X-rays, Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermonuclear_explosion

The energy released from a nuclear weapon detonated in the troposphere can be divided into four basic categories:

Blast—40-60% of total energy
Thermal radiation—30-50% of total energy
Ionizing radiation—5% of total energy
Residual radiation—5-10% of total energy

However, depending on the design of the weapon and the environment in which it is detonated the energy distributed to these categories can be increased or decreased to the point of nullification. The blast effect is created by immense amounts of energy, spanning the electromagnetic spectrum, with the surroundings. Locations such as submarine, surface, airburst, or exo-atmospheric determine how much energy is produced as blast and how much as radiation. In general, denser mediums around the bomb, like water, absorb more energy, and create more powerful shockwaves while at the same time limiting the area of its effect.

The dominant effects of a nuclear weapon where people are likely to be affected (blast and thermal radiation) are identical physical damage mechanisms to conventional explosives. However the energy produced by a nuclear explosive is millions of times more powerful per gram and the temperatures reached are briefly in the tens of millions of degrees.

Energy from a nuclear explosive is initially released in several forms of penetrating radiation. When there is a surrounding material such as air, rock, or water, this radiation interacts with and rapidly heats it to an equilibrium temperature. Causing vaporization of surrounding material resulting in its rapid expansion. Kinetic energy created by this expansion contributes to the formation of a shockwave. When a nuclear detonation occurs in air near sea level, much of the released energy interacts with the atmosphere and creates a shockwave which expands spherically from the hypocenter. Intense thermal radiation at the hypocenter forms a fireball and if the burst is low enough, its often associated mushroom cloud. In a burst at high altitudes, where the air density is low, more energy is released as ionizing gamma radiation and x-rays than an atmosphere displacing shockwave.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comet_Hyakutake

Radar results from the Arecibo Observatory indicated that the nucleus of the comet was about 2 km across, and surrounded by a flurry of pebble-sized particles ejected from the comet at a few metres per second. This measurement of the nucleus size corresponded well with indirect estimates using infrared emission and radio observations.[7][8]

The small size of the nucleus (Halley's Comet is about 15 km across, while Comet Hale-Bopp was about 40 km across) implies that Hyakutake must have been very active to become as bright as it did. Most comets undergo outgassing from a small proportion of their surface, but most or all of Hyakutake's surface seemed to have been active.
