Governor,

I have communicated most of these same details and more to the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Justice, and I wanted to also inform you of my observations.

I currently maintain an official United States federal undercover identity and I began that assignment on 12/7/1998 to investigate Microsoft Corporation sponsored terrorism. My deployment start date is recorded as 3/15/1998 and 3/16/1998 and I have been 100% deployed since then without even being able to visit with my family. I have not yet been granted permission to resume my true identity. And there is predictability to the terrorists attacks I have survived to this point.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_P._Murphy

Michael Patrick Murphy (May 7, 1976 — June 28, 2005) was a United States Navy SEAL posthumously awarded the United States military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions during the current War in Afghanistan. He was the first person to be awarded the medal for actions in Afghanistan; and the first member of the U.S. Navy to receive the award since the Vietnam War.[1]

Murphy was from Patchogue, New York, and was survived by his father, Daniel Murphy, his mother, Maureen Murphy, his brother, John Murphy, and his fiancée, Heather Duggan. Michael graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1998.

In a June 2005 campaign known as Operation Red Wing, Murphy led a four-man reconnaissance team on a mission to locate a top Taliban leader. The group was dropped off by helicopter in a remote, mountainous area east of Asadabad in Kunar Province, near the Pakistan border. Hostile locals discovered their presence and alerted dozens of nearby insurgents, who surrounded and attacked the small group. During the subsequent fight, Murphy continued to lead his men despite being wounded, and eventually crawled into an exposed area in order to make a radio call for help. A helicopter loaded with reinforcements was dispatched to rescue the team, but was shot down with the loss of all sixteen people aboard. Murphy and two of his men, Petty Officer 2nd Class Danny Dietz and Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew Axelson, were killed in the action; the survivor, Marcus Luttrell, was eventually rescued. All three of Murphy's men were awarded the Navy's second-highest honor,
the Navy Cross, for their part in the battle.

Murphy was buried in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, New York.

LIEUTENANT
MICHAEL P. MURPHY
UNITED STATES NAVY

For service as set forth in the following CITATION:

For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life and above and beyond the call of duty as the leader of a special reconnaissance element with Naval Special Warfare task unit Afghanistan on 27 and 28 June 2005. While leading a mission to locate a high-level anti-coalition militia leader, Lieutenant Murphy demonstrated extraordinary heroism in the face of grave danger in the vicinity of Asadabad, Konar Province, Afghanistan. On 28 June 2005, operating in an extremely rugged enemy-controlled area, Lieutenant Murphy's team was discovered by anti-coalition militia sympathizers, who revealed their position to Taliban fighters. As a result, between 30 and 40 enemy fighters besieged his four member team. Demonstrating exceptional resolve, Lieutenant Murphy valiantly led his men in engaging the large enemy force. The ensuing fierce firefight resulted in numerous enemy casualties, as well as the wounding of all four members of the team. Ignoring
his own wounds and demonstrating exceptional composure, Lieutenant Murphy continued to lead and encourage his men. When the primary communicator fell mortally wounded, Lieutenant Murphy repeatedly attempted to call for assistance for his beleaguered teammates. Realizing the impossibility of communicating in the extreme terrain, and in the face of almost certain death, he fought his way into open terrain to gain a better position to transmit a call. This deliberate, heroic act deprived him of cover, exposing him to direct enemy fire. Finally achieving contact with his headquarters, Lieutenant Murphy maintained his exposed position while he provided his location and requested immediate support for his team. In his final act of bravery, he continued to engage the enemy until he was mortally wounded, gallantly giving his life for his country and for the cause of freedom. By his selfless leadership, Lieutenant Murphy reflected great credit upon himself and
upheld the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.[3]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Red_Wing

Operation Red Wing was a counterterrorism mission in Kunar province, Afghanistan, involving four members of the U.S. Navy SEALs, which took place June 28th, 2005. Three of the SEALs were killed during the operation. The fourth was protected by local villagers and later rescued by the US military. The story of the rescued SEAL would later become the cover story of Time's July 2005 issue, titled "How The Shepherd Saved The SEAL." Between 100-200 Taliban and Al Qaida fighters were also killed during the operation.

In response to a call from the SEAL team leader, Lt. Michael P. Murphy, to Bagram Air Base, an MH-47 Chinook helicopter carrying 8 US Navy SEALs and 8 Nightstalkers - members of the Army's elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment attempted to come to their rescue to provide extraction in the mountains of Kunar province, Afghanistan. Crew from the escort attack helicopters cited the SEALs on the ground as putting up outstanding resistance, calling it "an unbelievable firefight." The Chinook helicopter was shot down by what is believed to have been a rocket propelled grenade killing all sixteen on board. The three SEALs remaining on the ground continued to fight off the Taliban, gravely wounded, protecting each other as their position was pushed back to lower ground.

The Nightstalkers killed-in-action include:

Major Stephen C. Reich
Chief Warrant Officer 4 Chris J. Scherkenbach
Chief Warrant Officer 3 Corey J. Goodnature
Master Sergeant James W. “Tre” Ponder, III
Sergeant First Class Marcus V. Muralles
Sergeant First Class Michael L. Russell
Staff Sergeant Shamus O. Goare
Sergeant Kip A. Jacoby

On September 14th, 2006, Petty Officer 2nd Class Danny P. Dietz and Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew G. Axelson were awarded the Navy Cross for "undaunted courage" and heroism. In 2007, Lieutenant Murphy was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during the battle.

New Kids on the Blecch is an episode from the twelfth season of The Simpsons. It features the members of the pop music group 'N Sync.

By paralleling Rosie Ruiz's cheating in the 1980 Boston Marathon, Bart cheats in the Springfield's equivalent. When Bart's dishonesty is quickly discovered, he finds himself in hot water with fellow competitors and spectators, so he accepts a stranger's offer to help him escape. The stranger reveals that his identity is L.T. Smash. L.T. offers Bart a career as a member of a boy band known as "The Party Posse". Bart accepts, and becomes Party Posse's 4th member, joining Nelson Muntz, Ralph Wiggum and Milhouse Van Houten. The Party Posse quickly ascend to stardom, albeit using complex voice enhancers built by NASA. No one is aware of the voice enhancer's use, and as such Party Posse's success depends on the voice enhancer.

The band releases a single titled "Drop da Bomb!", which contains the suspicious lyric "YVAN EHT NIOJ". Lisa's growing suspicion around The Party Posse eventually results in her discovering the line is a subliminal recruiting message to join the Navy, as Yvan Eht Nioj is Join the Navy written backwards. Lisa also discovers that L.T. Smash is, in reality, Lieutenant Smash ("LT" being the abbreviation for the Navy rank of Lieutenant). He says he is working to recruit people for the United States Navy.

Lisa points out her discoveries to Homer and Marge, but they dismiss her accusations as jealousy to Bart. The events come to a head when The Party Posse perform at a concert on an aircraft carrier, which only increases Lisa's suspicion towards the band. During the first song (which also contains subliminal messages), L.T. learns from his superior officer that MAD Magazine's next issue will lampoon The Party Posse, calling them The Potty Posse and thus the band will not have any recruiting power. L.T.'s superior officer terminates "Project Boy Band" by shutting off the band's voice enhancer, exposing the group's mediocre voices. L.T. becomes increasingly aggravated about his Superior Officers' actions, and threatens to send the carrier out to sea. When L.T.'s completes his threat, a terrified audience evacuate the carrier. The only people left on the ship are The Party Posse and Homer (Homer was unfortunately in the toilet at the time). L.T. sends the
ship to New York City in an attempt to destroy the MAD skyscraper. Despite 'N Sync's attempt to stop L.T., he destroys the MAD building with the ship's missiles, but L.T.'s actions appear to only reinvigorate the MAD workers. After L.T.'s criminal actions, he is arrested and the potential of the fraudulent Party Posse remains unfulfilled.

Admiral Bates: This is Admiral Bates speaking. I am trying to get a hold of Chief Ryback. Is he about?

Admiral Bates: Now, since your ass is on the line, sailor, I authorize you right now, to do whatever you can to aid in the arrival of the SEAL Team. Because if I goddamn can't control you, I might as well support you. Correct?

Casey Ryback: That's affirmative, Sir!
