To: Governor Gregoire
From: Kerry W. Burgess (official United States federal undercover identity, an identity completely compromised by forces hostile to the United States of America)
Governor,
I have communicated most of these same details and more to the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Justice, and I wanted to also inform you of my observations.
I currently maintain an official United States federal undercover identity and I began that assignment on 12/7/1998 to investigate Microsoft Corporation sponsored terrorism. My deployment start date is recorded as 3/15/1998 and 3/16/1998 and I have been 100% deployed since then without even being able to visit with my family. I have not yet been granted permission to resume my true identity. And there is predictability to the terrorists attacks I have survived to this point.

From 8/10/1967 (USNS Saturn) to 4/14/1977 is: 3535 days
3535 / 5957 = 0.5934
This can also be expressed in terms of how the 12/1/1983 date was discovered:
From 8/10/1967 (USNS Saturn) to 4/14/1977 is: 3535 days
3535 / 0.5934 = 5957 days
From 8/10/1967 (USNS Saturn) + 5957 days is 12/1/1983 (USNS Saturn)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Ia_Drang
The Battle of Ia Drang was one of the first major battles between the United States Army and the People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN) during the Vietnam War.
The two-part battle took place between November 14 and November 18, 1965, at two landing zones (LZ's) northwest of Plei Me in the Central Highlands of South Vietnam. The battle derives its name from the Drang River which runs through the valley northwest of Plei Me, in which the engagement took place. "Ia" means "river" in the local Montagnard language.
Representing the American forces were elements of the 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry, the 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry, and the 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry of the United States Army. The Viet Cong forces included the 33rd, 66th, and 320th Regiments of the PAVN, as well National Liberation Front (NLF) of the H15 Battalion.
The battle is the subject of the critically acclaimed book We Were Soldiers Once ... And Young by Harold (Hal) Moore and Joseph L. Galloway. In 2002, Randall Wallace depicted the first part of the battle in the film We Were Soldiers starring Mel Gibson.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermes_Conrad
Hermes Conrad is a character in the Futurama animated series. He is voiced by Phil LaMarr.
Hermes' love of limbo
Hermes was once an Olympic limbo athlete. He was competing at the 2980 Olympic Games for the Earth team when a little boy ran onto the field. The boy wanted to be "just like Hermes," but broke his back while attempting to limbo. This event traumatized Hermes and he could not bring himself to limbo again until decades later, when he found it necessary to slide under a nearly-closed airlock door to save the lives of himself and his co-workers. His confidence (though not his physique) restored, Hermes came out of retirement to compete for Jamaica at the 3004 Olympics, after the original team got detained at the airport for "other interests" (again, implied to be marijuana), though he was bested by longtime rival Barbados Slim, to whom Hermes' wife LaBarbara Conrad was once married.
The ultimate penalty
In the episode "How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back" he suffered a breakdown, and was sent on paid vacation (considered the "ultimate penalty" in his profession) with LaBarbara. Unfortunately, the spa he chose as a vacation spot was actually a forced labor camp, with the recreational activities including pushing mining carts. Hermes, his bureaucratic bearing restored, reorganized the labor camp for greater efficiency, after which all physical labor was done by a single Australian man.

Apollo 8 was the Apollo space program's second successful manned mission. Its crew – Commander Frank Borman, Command Module Pilot James Lovell and Lunar Module Pilot William Anders – became the first humans to orbit the Moon. It was also the first manned launch of the Saturn V rocket.
The article indicates that Apollo 8 launched at 1251 UTC on 12/21/1968 and it looks like it entered orbit around 68 hours later.

Current time Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 10:23:53 PM
UTC/GMT Offset Standard time zone: UTC/GMT -10 hours
Current UTC (or GMT/Zulu)-time used: Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 08:25:24
UTC is Coordinated Universal Time, GMT is Greenwich Mean Time.
So it looks to me that Apollo 8 launched at 0251 Hawaii time on Saturday, 12/21/1968.
If it entered orbit 68 hours later then:
48 hours after launch would be 0251 on Monday, 12/23/1968.
20 hours after that, for a total of 68 hours, would be 2251, Monday, 12/23/1968.
So 58 minutes after that would be 2349, Monday, 12/23/1968, Hawaii-time, when Apollo 8 went behind the Moon.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_8
At 64 hours into the flight, the crew began to prepare for Lunar Orbit Insertion-1 (LOI-1). This maneuver had to be performed perfectly, and due to orbital mechanics had to be on the far side of the Moon, out of contact with the Earth. After Mission Control was polled for a Go/No Go decision, the crew was told at 68 hours, they were Go and "riding the best bird we can find". At 68 hours and 58 minutes, the spacecraft went behind the Moon and out of radio contact with the Earth.

I wrote recently about how I think I had a great deal of creative input into the 1991 movie and about how one scene in particular might represent my personal experience on 5/9/1985. I have been thinking I was knocked unconscious from an anti-aircraft missile explosion which left me and my F-14 Tomcat plummeting to the ocean. I think that our backup F-14 Tomcats were monitoring my aircraft with the long-range television cameras in the aircraft, or maybe there is some other explanation, and this dialog is from the observers of my aircraft:
"The engines are coming alive.
Yeah, we got restart."
The first indication could have been from black smoke that signaled the jet engine lighting off and then the next indication was from the afterburner, which as this photo illustrates, was probably visible from a long distance:

Camera Operator: DAN O`SULLIVAN Date Shot: 23 Jun 1985
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-14_Tomcat
The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is a supersonic, twin-engine, two-seat, variable geometry wing aircraft. The F-14 was the United States Navy's primary maritime air superiority fighter, fleet defense interceptor and tactical reconnaissance platform from 1974 to 2006.
The original set of sensors also comprised an infrared sensor under the nose: it was AN/ALR-23 with indium antimony detectors, cooled by a self-contained Stirling-cycle cryogenic system, but this proved ineffective, and was replaced with a new system. This was an optical system, Northrop AAX-1, also called TCS (TV Camera Set) and is used to help pilots visually identify aircraft, at least on day missions,[6] up to a range of more than 60 miles for large aircraft. The zoom function also helps with small fighters and there is even an auto-tracker to ease the task. Both the crew have access to the images on their displays.
I am absolutely convinced this is me with my back to the camera, when I was a U.S. Navy Ensign. The photo caption, I believe, is incorrect and that I am wearing the shoulderboards of a U.S. Navy Ensign. I'm not sure if that date is correct, either.

I was thinking about these times when the hood flew up on my red Ford as I was traveling down Hicks Road. It was lucky we didn't crash. The woman holding the torch during the intro for Columbia pictures looks a lot like a girlfriend I used to have. 1980. That was the year we moved from DeQueen to Ashdown. I think it was '81 when we moved onto Hicks Road. I started school at Ashdown Jr. High in '80. We had our 10 year reunion in '94 at the junior high school. I was teaching myself how to read Russian that year. Received a Science award. Started shaving. 14 years old when we moved there. Michael and I constructed a tall television antenna to get better reception. We put an American flag at the top. As we were admiring our work, Michael commented something similar to: "we sure are some patriotic s.o.b.'s aren't we?"
JOURNAL ARCHIVE: 03/17/07 1:39 PM
Is that connected to my "memories" of the hood flying up on my red 1967 Ford as I was flying down Hicks Road approaching that 90-degree turn? That happened twice but I can only visualize that one time near that turn. I can't "remember" where the other one occurred or which happened first. There were also those times I wrote about with the wheels popping off my blue 1967 Chevrolet. That one time might represent catapault pulling off the front landing gear as I was launched off the carrier. It is also clever how I think my "memories" of where I parked near the house on Hicks Road represent launching from a carrier deck. One time I would pull straight up onto the road and I think that represents the forward catapault. Another time, I would pull up onto the road at an angle and I think that represents the waist catapault, which launches aircraft off to the side of the carrier.

Safe House (1998) is a made for TV movie directed Eric Steven Stahl. It premiered in the UK in late 1998 on Channel 5 and in the US on Showtime on January 24, 1999.
Patrick Stewart starred as Mace Sowell, an ex-DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) agent who believes his life is in danger from his former boss who is now running for President of the United States.
Sowell has information about the underhand dealings of his erstwhile boss at the DIA which would ruin his Presidential campaign if it ever was released into the public domain.
To complicate the issue, Sowell is in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease and has difficulty in convincing people his information is not paranoia as a result of his condition. Sowell retreats to the safety of his barricaded home, kitted out with a variety of defence and security devices to try and escape those he thinks are out to harm him.
Kimberly Williams (Father of the Bride) plays the part of Andi Travers, his carer.

Safe House
Patrick Stewart plays Mace Sowell, a retired government operative who possesses damaging information about a presidential hopeful, and holes himself up inside his secure compound because he fears reprisal. In order to protect himself, Sowell has designed a system whereby the information will be released to the public if he is not there to type in a password at regular intervals. This he believes will keep him from being assassinated, but just in case, he stages elaborate self-defense drills with unwitting servants, and tries to convince his family that the explanation he gave them about his career was a cover story to hide his true military affiliations. The problem is, Sowell is also suffering the early stages of Alzheimer's, so his daughter (Joy Kilpatrick) considers his paranoid stories to be delusional ravings. She hires a psychiatrist (Kimberly Williams) to analyze her father and watch over him, in the hopes of easing his dementia. Sowell initially distrusts his new companion, but begins to lower his guard and care for her deeply. Meanwhile, his disease is advancing, and if he can't remember the password, his critical information will be released prematurely and he'll be hunted down by his enemies.

I have this memory today, it seems like I have had it for 20 years, but I'm not sure about that. It was 1986 and we were at Micheal's funeral. His father, Denzil, my step-father, was grief-stricken over the death of his son. I was still in shock at that time. He told me that I was the only son he had left and that he was the only father I had left. My father had died the previous year. I remembered how Micheal told me at the funeral that he was sorry about my father dying.
I look at this one photo of a person who may have been my friend in my real life....I see a similarity to a woman I worked with at Microsoft. I like her. She was from Canada I think, of Egyptian descent. People talked about her being a lawyer before working at Microsoft as a TAM, but from what she told me, she had dropped out of law school. She and I were dancing at the Christmas party one time. She drove me home. I quipped at one point, for some reason, about how I had spent so much time in the North Atlantic, my offspring would be eskimo. I wanted to invite her up to my apartment when she dropped me off, but decided against it.
ah, damn......that princess with the pink car.....wish I could find the photo.....
I haven't seen the movie, but lately some previews for Tom Cruise's The Last Samurai have been playing on tv. There is something about that woman, where she reminds me of someone I was with. I have this unexplained sadness when I see her in those previews. And it feels like something is missing, I have this feeling that something is missing, can't explain it.

I'm feeling more comfortable, confident even, that this stuff I am remembering is true. There is still something I am missing though. I suspect that it is something I have to figure out, to remember, to recognize, on my own. It is something I will know when I see. For a while, sometime ago, I was thinking to myself something about how this wasn't over til "the bat lady sings," but I don't know what that means precisely, other than a variation of the well-known phrase. I feel the answer is somewhere in my memory, if I could just grasp it. I felt like I almost remembered something last night, something I wrote more about in my notes, but not sure if I will put it in here. I can't remember that thought now, but it was some kind of family choice, and that half-remembered choice was reflected in something later, but I can't remember.
There was some kind of choice I made. Some kind of family choice. I just can't remember it. Something about my work and my family. I have remembered lately about someone telling me how my father regretted that he left my mother.

Went to Camp Couchdale in the summer of '81, after graduating 9th grade.
Met a girl named Phoebe, took her out on the lake in a boat and paddled around. We wrote letters for a long time afterwards.
Phoebe told me to "never forget" that dance where we met, because she never would.
They lined up all the girls at the start of the dance and told me to pick who I wanted to dance with. I still remember thinking about how she just seemed the right choice.
Willisville, AR, is where I "remember" that Phoebe Bailey lived from my artificial and symbolic memory. She is the Phoebe that I "remember" meeting at Camp Couchdale, although, as with my wife, Tracie Rhodes Crooks, she is a fictional character I created to represent my wife. I incorporate certain identifying details into those characters to represent my wife.
Phoebe Bailey was in the same grade as I, so she couldn't have been born before 1965 and was probably born in 1966 and I created this detail to represent that my wife in my true identity was born in 1963.

As I recall, Phoebe Bailey wrote in a letter to me to “never forget that dance where we met because I never will.” That is quite humorous, really more humorous than I can articulate
I have these moments where I want to scream because there is something locked in my mind that I can’t articulate.
There is truly a “great lakes” of emotion stored in my mind associated with so much that is forgotten. I feel this great humor in my mind about that comment from Phoebe, I feel that if I remember, I will laugh and laugh and laugh, for days on end probably.

I had a detailed dream about Phoebe Bailey as the person she probably is today. I have also been thinking lately that I only remember a photo of her that was taken back when she was in high school. I never actually met her, the person, back then and my “memory” of her is only from a photo I was shown as I was having my memory replaced. I don’t know how they changed my memory, but it could have been as simple as they show in the movies, such as in “Conspiracy Theory” and the recent “Manchurian Candidate.” I awake with deep feelings of affection for that Phoebe Bailey of today and I wonder if we were close in reality or whether she is an actress that I have never actually met.
