Thank you for contacting Governor Christine Gregoire. The Governor values your views and opinions. We want to assure you that the Governor's Office reads these messages and, when appropriate, refers them to relevant agencies, staff, or the Governor herself. Because of the volume of e-mail we receive daily, however, we are unable to respond to every message. Thank you again for contacting the Governor.

To: Governor Gregoire

From: Kerry W. Burgess (official United States federal undercover identity, an identity completely compromised by forces hostile to the United States of America)

Governor,

I have communicated most of these same details and more to the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Justice, and I wanted to also inform you of my observations.

I currently maintain an official United States federal undercover identity and I began that assignment on 12/7/1998 to investigate Microsoft Corporation sponsored terrorism. My deployment start date is recorded as 3/15/1998 and 3/16/1998 and I have been 100% deployed since then without even being able to visit with my family. I have not yet been granted permission to resume my true identity. And there is predictability to the terrorists attacks I have survived to this point.

As I noted, there are forces hostile to the United States of America operating in the State of Washington and as has been common to my life, those hostile forces and national traitors are usually following me around and working to disrupt my family life.

I'm just trying to finish my assigment and get back home to my family.

In my own country, a slave to my past heroics, the object of criminal conspiracy.

Born to Run is a rock album by American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen

BORN TO RUN

In the day we sweat it out in the streets of a runaway American dream
At night we ride through mansions of glory in suicide machines
Sprung from cages out on highway 9
Chrome wheeled, fuel injected
And steppin' out over the line
Baby this town rips the bones from your back
It's a death trap, it's a suicide rap
We gotta get out while we're young
'Cause tramps like us, baby we were born to run
Yes girl we were

Wendy let me in, I wanna be your friend
I want to guard your dreams and visions
Just wrap your legs 'round these velvet rims
And strap your hands across my engines
Together we could break this trap
We'll run till we drop, baby we'll never go back
Will you walk with me out on the wire
'Cause baby I'm just a scared and lonely rider
But I gotta know how it feels
I want to know if love is wild
Girl I want to know if love is real
Oh can you show me

Beyond the Palace hemi-powered drones scream down the boulevard
The girls comb their hair in rear-view mirrors
And the boys try to look so hard
The amusement park rises bold and stark
Kids are huddled on the beach in a mist
I wanna die with you Wendy on the streets tonight
In an everlasting kiss

The highway's jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive
Everybody's out on the run tonight but there's no place left to hide
Together, Wendy, we can live with the sadness
I'll love you with all the madness in my soul
Someday girl I don't know when we're gonna get to that place
Where we really want to go and we'll walk in the sun
But till then tramps like us baby we were born to run

"Warship" .... Cmdr. Alan Glenn (13 episodes, 1976)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warship_%28TV_series%29

Warship was an extremely popular British television drama series produced by the BBC between 1973 and 1977.

The series dealt with life on board a Royal Navy warship, the fictional HMS Hero. It was mainly filmed aboard the Leander-class frigate 'HMS 'Phoebe.

The originator of the idea for the series and main script editor was a serving Royal Navy officer, Ian Mackintosh. HMS Hero was - quite intentionally - portrayed as being captained by three very diverse officers in the series. Leading cast members included (portraying the Captain): Donald Burton as Commander Mark Nialls, a high flying young officer (in the first two seasons), Bryan Marshall as Commander Alan Glenn, a former Fleet Air Arm fighter pilot (for the third season) and Derek Godfrey as Captain Edward Holt, a former nuclear submariner, (in the fourth and final season). Other actors in the series included John Lee, Andrew Burt, Don Henderson, Norman Eshley, James Cosmo and David Savile.

Four series were produced, with 45 episodes made in total, which became cult TV viewing in Britain, Ireland and Australia.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Phoebe_%28F42%29

HMS Phoebe (F42) was a Leander-class frigate of the Royal Navy (RN). She was, like the rest of her class, named after a figure of mythology. She was built by Vickers on the Tyne. She was launched on the 19th December 1964 and commissioned on the 15th May 1966.

Phoebe was used for the filming of the popular Warship BBC drama during the 1970s, set on board the fictional HMS Hero.

Jack and Jill is a classic nursery rhyme of Western culture.

There are many modern versions of it (many of them parodies), all sharing the same first rhyme:

Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water.
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.

In Shakespeare's "Mid Summer Night's Dream" at the end of act three, it is said:

Jack shall have Jill;
Nought shall go ill;

Season 1, Episode 1: 33

Original Air Date: 18 October 2004

Following the destruction of the Colonies, the refugee fleet led by Galactica has been relentlessly chased by the Cylons who pop up every 33 minutes to attack again, and have been doing so for five days straight. 33 minutes gives them barely long enough to calculate a jump and distribute the coordinates to each ship. The perpetual attacks and jumps to escape prevent anyone from sleeping for very long, even if they aren't involved in keeping the fleet moving. The equipment is also stressed to the point that, finally, a passenger ship called the 'Olympic Carrier' is left behind, rebooting their jump computer when the jump is executed. When the Olympic Carrier suddenly jumps in to rejoin the fleet some time later, it seems certain that the ship must have been infiltrated.

Season 1, Episode 2: Water

Original Air Date: 25 October 2004

President Roslin arrives on Galactica as Boomer's Cylon side asserts itself, forcing her to sabotage Galactica's water supply against her will. A series of explosions leads to the loss of 60% of the water reserves and Commander Adama is compelled to introduce rationing and begin a search of nearby planetary systems for any H20 deposits.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/33_%28Battlestar_Galactica%29

"33" is the first episode of the reimagined Battlestar Galactica television series. It followed the events of the miniseries. "33" won the 2005 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form. The episode drew a 2.6 household Nielsen rating, attracting 3.1 million viewers

The convoy of refugee ships is relentlessly and repeatedly attacked by the Cylons. The fleet must execute a faster-than-light jump to escape the Cylons each time they appear, but the Cylons always reappear at their new co-ordinates exactly 33 minutes later. The fleet's crews, particularly those aboard Galactica who must fight a delaying action to cover every jump, have been operating without sleep for 133 hours (over five days) and face the strain of constant action. Most of the episode focuses on the perils of the constant escape.

Meanwhile, on Caprica, Lt. Karl Agathon (call-sign "Helo") is still alive and running for his life from Cylon patrols. While being chased, he still manages to lure two Cylon Centurions into an ambush, setting off explosives to destroy them. Helo is surprised when he sees that his raptor pilot Lt. Sharon "Boomer" Valerii has returned to Caprica to rescue him. Little does he know that she is not only a Cylon, but not even "his" Sharon— that copy is aboard Galactica.

This space shuttle flight launch a space ship back to Jupiter and I see that '3-59' combination showing up there, but there is another curious detail. The two values present the reversed values of '4443' and '1959.' I recognize '4-4-4-3' and a device to represent my age difference with Phoebe and I recognize 1959 as my true birth year. This particular calculation is associated with the return to Earth of Apollo 17, the last Apollo flight to the Earth's moon.

Pink Floyd Lyrics

Learning To Fly Lyrics

Into the distance, a ribbon of black
Stretched to the point of no turning back
A flight of fancy on a windswept field
Standing alone my senses reeled
A fatal attraction holding me fast, how
Can I escape this irresistible grasp?
Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted Just an earth-bound misfit, I
Ice is forming on the tips of my wings
Unheeded warnings, I thought I thought of everything
No navigator to guide my way home
Unladened, empty and turned to stone
A soul in tension that's learning to fly
Condition grounded but determined to try
Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, I
Above the planet on a wing and a prayer,
My grubby halo, a vapour trail in the empty air,
Across the clouds I see my shadow fly
Out of the corner of my watering eye
A dream unthreatened by the morning light
Could blow this soul right through the roof of the night
There's no sensation to compare with this
Suspended animation, A state of bliss
Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, I

STS-1 was the first test flight of what was, at the time, probably the most complex spacecraft ever built. Unsurprisingly, there were numerous problems – 'anomalies' in NASA parlance – on the flight, as many systems could not be adequately tested on the ground or independently. Some of the more serious or interesting were:

During reentry a protruding tile gap filler ducted hot gas into the right main landing gear well, which caused significant damage including buckling of the landing gear door[1]. Also, a tile next to the right-hand External Tank (ET) door on the underside of the shuttle was incorrectly installed, leading to excessive re-entry heating and melting of the part of the ET door latch.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Hue_City

Date January 30, 1968 - March 3, 1968

Location Hue, South Vietnam

The Battle of Hue, 1968, was one of the bloodiest and longest battles of the Vietnam War (1954-1975).

The South Vietnamese Army and three understrength U.S. Marine battalions, consisting of fewer than 2,500 men, attacked and defeated more than 10,000 entrenched North Vietnamese and Viet Cong soldiers, taking the city of Hue (pop. 140,000) for South Vietnam.

With the beginning of the Tet Offensive on January 30, 1968, the Vietnamese lunar New Year, American forces had been committed to combat upon Vietnamese soil for almost three years. Highway One passed through Hué and over the Perfume River (the river ran through the city dividing it into both northern and southern areas) creating an important supply line from the coastal city of Da Nang to the DMZ for the Allied forces. Hué was also a base for United States Navy supply boats. The city, considering its value and its distance from the DMZ (only 50 miles), should have therefore been well-defended, fortified, and prepared for the Communist offensive. But it was actually poorly defended and unprepared for the twenty-six-day battle that was fought throughout its buildings and streets because the Allied forces expected that the North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong would respect the Tet truce and, because Hué had never suffered any major attack before, they
thought the city was safe.

During the Tet, which is an important holiday celebrated in Vietnam, the Viet Cong and the North Vietnamese Army launched a massive assault on South Vietnam, attacking hundreds of military targets and population centers across the country, among them the city of Hué. The Tet Offensive began on January 31, 1968.

Memorable quotes for
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)

Principal SS Officer at Castle: You have the diary in your pocket.

Professor Henry Jones: You dolt. You think my son would be that stupid; he would bring my diary all the way back here?

[pause]

Professor Henry Jones: You didn't, did you?

[another pause]

Professor Henry Jones: You didn't bring it, did you?

Indiana Jones: Well, uh...

Professor Henry Jones: You *did*.

Indiana Jones: Look, can we discuss this later?

Professor Henry Jones: I should have mailed it to the Marx Brothers!

Indiana Jones: Will you take it easy?

Professor Henry Jones: Take it easy? Why do you think I sent it home in the first place? So it wouldn't fall into their hands!

Indiana Jones: I came here to save you!

Professor Henry Jones: Oh, yeah? And who's gonna come to save you, Junior?

Indiana Jones: [shouts] I *told* you...

[grabs a gun and shoots all soldiers dead]

Indiana Jones: ...DON'T call me Junior.

Professor Henry Jones: Look what you did. I can't *believe* what you did!

Professor Henry Jones: Those people are trying to kill us!

Indiana Jones: [shouts] I know, Dad!

Professor Henry Jones: This is a new experience for me.

Indiana Jones: It happens to me all the time.

Two Bad Neighbors (1996)

George Bush: If they don't think George Bush will go into the sewer, they don't know George Bush.

Homer: Hello Mr. Bush, it's your sons, George Bush, Jr. and Jeb Bush.

George Bush: Barbara, the boys are here, maybe they can help us take care of those Simpsons.

[President Bush has put up a poster on the front of the house with crudely drawn pictures of Homer and Bart on it. It reads 'Two Bad Neighbours']

Dr. Julius Hibbert: [confused] I don't understand. Are you saying you and Barbara are bad neighbours?

George Bush: [annoyed] No, its not Bar and me. It's them!

[Bush points at the Simpsons' house]

Ned Flanders: Who, Maude and me?

George Bush: No, the man and his boy. Ya know. The boy is named Bart. I don't know the name of the man.

[calls in to his wife, Barbara]

George Bush: Bar, what's the name of the man?

Barbara Bush: [calling out to George] I'm not getting involved, George!

Ned Flanders drags his family over to meet the new neighbors.

Ray: [scrutinizing Ned's license] And your business here, Mr. Flanders?

Ned: Well, sir, I'm welcoming the Bushes on behalf of the Neighborhood Association.

George: [hammering "The Bushes" sign] Never mind about that, Ray. Just give them a quick pass with the metal detector and let 'em on in. Hey, Bar! The neighbors are here.

The next day, Homer speed off to Krusty Burger.

Homer: Oh, man: I've only got one minute 'till they stop serving those breakfast balls!

[stops behind Bush at the drive thru]

George: Let's see, now...what do you folks have here, huh? Hmm, a "Krusty Burger"...that doesn't sound too appetizing. What kind of stew do you have today?

Kid: [through order box] Uh...we don't have stew.

[Homer honks impatiently]

Ray: Sir, why don't you just have the cheeseburger?

George: Aw, that's really more of a weekend thing, Ray.

Homer: Hey, jerk! Move your fanny!

George: That guy's louder than World War II. Ray, go see what the rhubarb is, will you?

[Ray goes back toward Homer's car]

Ray: Sir, could you pop your hood?

[Homer does so; Ray disables the horn]

Homer: Hey: my taxes paid for that horn!
