There have been questions raised regarding the fact that the City of New York's Department of Investigations bypassed the normal vetting process in appointing Kerik police commissioner. The accusation among others were that his chief qualification appeared to be that he had served as Giuliani’s driver and bodyguard.
On February 13, 2002, Kerik was appointed an honorary Commander of Order of the British Empire (CBE) by Queen Elizabeth II.
I assume this was done because it was all my family in London could do to point out these guys are part of an effort by organized crime to pirate my identity, which has tremendous commercial value. The law doesn't mean much when the FBI and Justice Department only believe what they are paid to believe, which is a common occurrence in a shake-down by racketeers, which is happening to my family business and identity, which has tremendous commercial value. As the US presidential election race enters its final weeks, both major party candidates have been attempting to play up their lighter sides.
As part of a gag-laden appearance on the David Letterman show, Republican hopeful George W Bush unveiled a fantasy "to do" list if he is elected to the White House.
This included stocking the library with plenty of large-print books, a self-deprecating reference to his alleged illiteracy, and giving the Oval office "a good scrub" - a thinly veiled allusion to the Monica Lewinsky affair.

Mr. BERMAN. Mr. Speaker, I am truly heartbroken today to rise to say a final farewell to my friend and former staff member, Joyce Chiang.
On January 9, Joyce vanished from her neighborhood. On April 1, she was found on the shore of the Potomac River in southern Fairfax County. Word yesterday of positive identification brought an end to the long vigil kept by her friends and family, and brought an end to the hope that we would see her bright smile once again.
The serial killer John Allen Muhammad, according to information on the internet, is 4 days, 95 weeks, younger than I am. I doubt it is no coincidence he was known as the Capital Beltway Sniper, where Interstate 495 is known as the Capital Beltway. I also do not think it is a coincidence they were arrested on 10/24/2002. Back in 1999, as I found out later, a coworker of mine while I was working undercover at Microsoft, named Wally Simpson, was spreading some kind of rumors about me getting onto one of the buildings near our office building to start shooting a rifle at people.
