Inside Delta Force
Somewhere long ago I wrote in my journal about that time in Palma de Mallorca during Christmas 1989. We had an extended port visit there during our deployment to the Med. Sea and one drunken night on liberty at a bar we went to frequently I got the wild idea to steal a barstool. I can still vaguely visualize that place. I can also recall having that barstool over my shoulder as I walked up the gangplank back onto the ship. I left the ship a few weeks later and that rusty old barstool was still sitting there in Missile Plot, renamed the "Missile Plot Country Club" by me after I had earlier become work center supervisor.

To Catch a Thief
In 2004, before I quit my full-time employment at Microsoft Corporation with my $80,000 per year salary and a lot of great perq.'s, I was noted in commendations as a "rising star".
In the back of my mind, their praise felt tainted to me. All because of that earlier PERVERT manager I had to endure. After that wormy little guy showed me that porno video in his office, I questioned everything about that racket.
I mean, that was a world-class offense right there. Something I probably should have called the police about first, complaining about solicitation.
My guess is the guy is the typical George Bush homosexual who wants revenge on the world. I guess he could find a lawyer-whore for cheap who wanted revenge also, using the United States legal system for their pervert-homosexual activist agenda. Any attempt by me to find justice would just result in them shredding my personal life, boring as it was and is.
So the solution was simple: I've been successful before. Many times, many other places.
First time in my life, after Microsoft, I could not find work.

That was sometime in 2002 when my manager at Microsoft, Kirk Tavener, showed me that pornographic video title "Priceless" in the privacy of his office at Microsoft and during salary negotiations. The video had two people talking about oral sex and about returning favors.
His manager told me she got him to give her a copy of the video. She sent it to me in email. One day later she came by and stood looking at me in the face and started talking about triathlon and she mentioned something about 'biathlons.' I corrected her that the actual name for the subject we were discussing was 'duathlon.'
The manager who replaced Kirk Tavener reminded me a lot in appearance of that actor from the 1986 film "Iron Eagle." That actor portrays the father of "Doug Masters" and is the one who gets shot in the shoulder by rifle fire from the Arab soldier.

Today I checked the Bureau of Labor CPI Inflation Calculator. I quit my full-time employment at Microsoft Corporation in Seattle for the very same reasons I document here just about every day. I had a great salary, I was considered a "rising star", as I was accustomed to much of my life, along with all the great perq.'s that went with my full-time employment - that ended with my *career* because of my *legitimate* complaint - I left an $80,000 per year salary that was only going to increase every year *beyond* any sort of inflation increases, which was never an explanation for my salary increases. My salary was almost $30,000 higher after my 5-years of full-time employment at Microsoft Corporation. What gets me today, as a further indication of how much time has passed as I feverishly bang away at this stupid keyboard on this stupid computer at this stupid desk is the CPI calculator I checked today. That $80,000 in February 2004 is now $110,000 in July 2019. That's just for inflation. My initiative was working at a much greater pace.
