Spooky. At least it is to me, I guess. I looked through a window a few days ago and I thought to myself that it reminded me, in terms of the layout of the ground, of that dream I wrote about. I wrote of how I saw a very bright flash on the wall of my apartment through the window which was followed by another very bright light. I looked through the window and I could see a small hill directly outside my window that had green grass on it

I pondered over that dream for a while because I wondered about that broken telephone. I wondered why the broken electrical leads were so clear to me in that dream. I cannot remember what happened to the telephone but it was an old style, or so it seemed because of details I cannot remember, although I am not certain it was a rotary dial, but I remember something about how I was talking on it to someone named Tom and I think it fell off the wall or perhaps a table and it broke into several pieces. I was looking down at it on the floor and I noted the two electrical leads that were exposed and I wondered why I noted that in the dream. The phone still seemed to work though and I could hear the other person talking but I don't think the conversation was of any real consequence.

At some point, I looked outside the window of the house and along with other observations during what seemed to be the end of the dream, I saw green grass on a small rise of the ground of the yard.

I was also thinking again recently about the series finale episode of "Battlestar Galactica" and of how "Starbuck" knew the precise jump coordinates for the planet Earth. I was wondering if that plot element is based on what I was writing in my journal about how I would write down the sequence of numbers that had been written onto nuclear bombs that were a few hundred feet above the surface of downtown Seattle and I would do all that because time was frozen and I was the only one who could still freely move around.

The first notion I had was that I would then travel to Tiger, Washington, and on a road next to the river there, I would paint those number sequences on the side of the road. I might have first thought I would paint them on the side of a building next to that place in the road I was thinking of. Then over time, I started thinking I would write the numbers down on the underside of a bridge.

I thought I had noted in my journal that I had to use a small telescope to read the numbers off the bombs as they were suspended in the air but I do not see that associated with "telescope" in my journal.

When I was asleep a few hours ago for a nap, just before I awoke, I clearly saw a tsunami rising above Seattle as I was riding as a passenger in that burgundy Buick car I used to have.

It remained high above the city as it progressed well into the city, meaning that it was going to travel very far inland.

It seemed to be on the wrong side of the city though. I feel certain I was on the Alaskan Way viaduct and the tsunami seemed to rise from the east side of the city.

Ambush

An ambush is a long-established military tactic, in which the aggressors (the ambushing force) use concealment to attack a passing enemy. Ambushers strike from concealed positions, such as among dense underbrush or behind hilltops. Ambushes have been used consistently throughout history, from ancient to modern warfare. An ambush predator is an animal which uses similar tactics to capture prey, without the difficulty and wasted energy of a chase.


During ancient warfare, an ambush often might involve thousands of soldiers on a large scale, such as over a mountain pass. Ambushes appear many times in military history. One outstanding example from ancient times is the Battle of the Trebia river. Hannibal encamped within striking distance of the Romans with the trebia River between them, and placed a strong force of cavalry and infantry in concealment, near the battle zone. He had noticed, says Polybius, a “place between the two camps, flat indeed and treeless, but well adapted for an ambuscade, as it was traversed by a water-course with steep banks, densely overgrown with brambles and other thorny plants, and here he proposed to lay a stratagem to surprise the enemy”. When the Roman infantry became entangled in combat with his army, the hidden ambush force attacked the legionnaires in the rear. The result was slaughter and defeat for the Romans. Nevertheless the battle also displays the effects of good tactical discipline on the part of the ambushed force. Although most of the legions were lost, about 10,000 Romans cut their way through to safety, maintaining unit cohesion. This ability to maintain discipline and break out or maneuver away from a killing zone is a hallmark of good troops and training in any ambush situation.

Mullan is a city in Shoshone County in the northern part of the U.S. state of Idaho. The population was 692 at the 2010 census, down from 840 in 2000. The city is in the east end of the Silver Valley mining district; located in a sheltered canyon of the Coeur d'Alene Mountains at an elevation of 3,278 feet (999 m) above sea level. The entrance to the Lucky Friday mine is several hundred yards east of the city center; the active mine (silver, lead, & zinc) descends more than 6,000 feet (1.8 km) below the surface.

Interstate 90 runs by the south side of the city, and the Montana border at Lookout Pass is 4 miles (6.4 km) east

The Lucky Friday Mine is located approximately one mile east of Mullan, in Shoshone County, North Idaho, and 55 miles east of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, along Interstate 90 (I-90). The facility lies just north of the interstate near exit ramp 69. The Silver Shaft head frame can be easily observed from I-90 with the shaft collar approximately 70 feet above the valley floor. The Lucky Friday vein system is immediately adjacent to the Silver Shaft and the Gold Hunter deposit lies 5,000 feet northwest of the Silver Shaft.

SENDAI—A Fukushima-based insulation company is installing special transparent sheets in the windows of temporary housing for quake victims to address problems with condensation and mold inside the units.

Hideki Tomita, 38, president of Nihon Eco Dannetsu Film, put up the aluminum adiabatic sheets in prefabricated units in Miyagino Ward in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, on Nov. 24.

He wore a tiger mask, a reference to the comic book wrestling character Naoto Date, who has become a symbol of charitable giving in Japan. Between late 2010 and the start of 2011, the Japanese media was filled with stories about a wave of anonymous gifts to children’s institutions made in Date’s name, which became known as the “Tiger Mask” movement.
