There are plenty of stories on the news each and every day and I do not examine closer most of those news items.
A news item that has been covered several times today rose above all the other mainstream-media noise and I decided to look closer
The tv-news guy reporting the story says the same thing from the beginning and every time they broadcast video about the incident: the dead guy had autism, had the mental capacity of a thirteen-year old.
With each passing news broadcast, more is described about the incident as I viewed it on tv
The screen-capture image of surveillance video made it seem obvious to me: that selfish son-of-bitch deliberately got himself shot by a police officer, who now has to live with it and all the other crap you selfish polluters are always doing.
Today, there is more to this story.
This supposedly retarded, mental-cripple set it all up in a sophisticated ploy to get himself killed by a police officer.
He called 911, gave them a fake name to report himself as a suspicious person and when the police officer drives up, he runs out into the street pointing a realistic looking handgun at the police officer. That is supposedly the point where he gets shot and killed.
I saw the news item the first time as Sheriff Nowles described the incident as it happened.
I observed the scene on my tv-screen and thought it seemed familiar to me.
They named the place it occurred and it seemed familiar. I knew it is the name of a main street through Spokane Valley and I thought maybe it was somewhere along that north-south street.
Today decided to find it on the map and then it was obvious to me. I have walked past there at least a dozen times, years ago, when I was conducting research by observations of the Dishman Hills conservation area.
The place where he staged that incident is clearly visible when walking through there. I never committed that detail to memory.
Only reason I decided to follow through on this is because of my recent observations about the 2016 "Passengers"
Looking through my image archive, I reviewed a series of images I captured on 11/14/2017. That trek would have taken me directly along the sidewalk on 16th.
What is important to me about that day is I was reviewing certain details about the streets:

And I captured the attention of the monkeys. Old woman standing at her window staring at me because obviously she saw me walking through there near a bus stop and capturing images of street signs, all in public locations.
Pathetic monkeys can't mind their own business.
As for why that weirdo guy would get himself killed on that day is a real source for public concern.
He blamed it on bullies but I would seriously doubt that is true that his school did not try to help. The fact of his actions prove he was clearly a driving factor in the problems he blamed on others.
Told his mother he was going out for a "breakfast burrito". Now she's hired a lawyer screaming about negligence.
In other news, that Retardoid guy at Anthropic - we now know the name of that ridiculous clown is Dario Amodei - he and Retardoid Sam Altman and Retardoid Elon Musk do not know what "A.I." actually means - are pumping up the dangers of computer-systems that generate cartoonish pictures - technology that has been around for decades now.
Those retardoids are screaming about the end of the world because of computer-software the makes cartoonish images.

Court documents reveal that Joel Malin, who was shot by a Spokane County deputy, called 911 using a false name and described himself as armed before the shooting.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Court documents show the man who was shot and killed by a Spokane County school resource officer was the one who called 911 to report a "suspicious" and armed person outside Evergreen Middle School on September 8.
According to a search warrant application, someone called 911 around 11:30 a.m. reporting a "person with a weapon." The caller was very specific, describing the type of gun as a "Glock that was black and silver in the suspect's hand," according to the document. Spokane County Sheriff John Nowels also said after the shooting the caller described the suspect as "sweating profusely" and that he had the gun in his right pocket.
Investigators write the caller stated his name was Jack N. Saints, but it was discovered that was a false name and that Joel Malin was the caller and "it appeared he was describing himself to the 911 operator."
KREM 2 News also obtained dispatch audio that shows 911 dispatchers were immediately concerned the caller was the "shooter based on their GPS, and at the time the shots were fired, their GPS appeared to be running."
The documents show that at 11:36 a.m., 911 dispatchers say they could hear shots being fired through the phone. Once this happened, the school resource officer says shots were fired and he called code 99.
The Spokane Police Department, which is leading the independent investigation, released video last week showing Malin running towards a Spokane Valley Police Department vehicle with his "right hand extended holding a pistol" that was pointed toward the officer.
The Spokane Independent Investigative Response (SIIR) team also released a photo and information confirming the gun Malin held was a replica firearm.
