This Is What I Think.

Damn. I forgot all about that part.

At forty six minutes the three of them, traveling on foot, rationing water, talking about dying of thirst, with the Chief ordering "single file" as they walk along, while in some kind of semi-arid desert-like terrain that is vaguely similar in my personal experience to coastal South Carolina, fall through the wooden cover of a deep pit.

I knew, only about a minute before it happened, that was going to happen as they walked up to a sign that she read as "ANGER" and they Chief says that it is supposed to read "DANGER" in this work of severe racketeering activity and to directly support global terrorism and terrorism against the United States of America.

All law enforcement personnel in the United States of America are now formally charged with complicity to global terrorism and terroristic activities against the United States of America for not following my orders and for not making arrests of the targets I have identified that provided material support to global terrorism activity. Federal prison terms are required and will be enforced.

Coffee Retailer Ready To Roast N.Y. -- Upper West Side Gets Shop Tomorrow

By Gisela Moriarty

New York's first Starbucks retail store is opening tomorrow on the Upper West Side, a diverse and lively neighborhood about as close as Manhattan gets to Seattle.

With two huge espresso bars and spacious seating, the 2,200-square-foot outlet is Starbucks' biggest store, said President and Chief Executive Howard Schultz. He said new technology and equipment will enable the store to provide the speedier service New Yorkers expect.

"We've never entered a market as densely populated as New York, and we've never had so many people come to our door prior to the opening of a store," said Schultz

Hillary Clinton moves to clear the air/Investments absolutely aboveboard, she tells TV audience

NANCY MATHIS, HOUSTON CHRONICLE WASHINGTON BUREAU Staff

HOUSTON CHRONICLE

WASHINGTON -- In an extraordinary White House news conference, first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton fielded questions for more than an hour Friday, denying that there were improprieties related to the Whitewater Development Corp. or her commodities market investments.

She said the confusion about the Clintons' 1970s financial dealings -- which has sparked the appointment of a special counsel and calls by Republicans for congressional hearings -- resulted from "our inexperience in Washington" and the demands for personal information.

"It's a learning experience -- sometimes a difficult one," Clinton said. "This is not a long-term problem or issue in any way, but I don't want anybody to have the wrong impression of either of us, and I don't want anything to interfere with doing what the people of this country need done."

Clinton appeared relaxed as she sat in a chair framed by the fireplace in the State Dining Room. A portrait of Lincoln looked down upon her.

In a calm, commanding, occasionally apologetic performance, she lost her composure only once, when asked about former President Nixon, who was said to be near death at the time. She noted that she lost her own father a year ago this month and, as tears welled in her eyes, she said she felt for Nixon's daughters.

Deviance (sociology)

Deviance describes actions or behaviors that violate cultural norms including formally-enacted rules (e.g., crime)

Neutralization theory

Gresham Sykes and David Matza's neutralization theory explains how deviants justified their deviant behaviors by adjusting the definitions of their actions and by explaining to themselves and others the lack of guilt of their actions in particular situations.

Battle of Bataan

Date 7 January – 9 April 1942

The Battle of Bataan represented the most intense phase of Imperial Japan's invasion of the Philippines during World War II. The capture of the Philippine Islands was crucial to Japan's effort to control the Southwest Pacific, seize the resource-rich Dutch East Indies, and protect its Southeast Asia flank. It was the largest surrender in American and Filipino military history, and was the largest United States surrender since the American Revolution.

The Joker's Flying Saucer (1968)

Joker: I've dazzled many a lady, Batgirl, but this is the first time I put one completely in orbit. Well you shall have company soon. Yes, we will take off immediately after you do and we will wave to you occasionally as we pass you circling the earth.

[laughs maniacally]

Joker: Of course you will keep going forever...
