Chandler and Monica tell everyone they're going to move in together. Rachel is happy because she thinks the three of them will live together. Ross decides to get the annulment because people think he is still in love with Rachel and that's why he doesn't want to get divorced, but he needs Rachel to annul it and thus has to tell her they're still married. Monica tells Rachel that she and Chandler want to live together on their own. Monica is surprised that Rachel doesn't seem upset at all. Rachel isn't upset because she doesn't think they're gonna go through with it but Monica tells her it really is gonna happen and Rachel cries her eyes out. Ross is about to tell Rachel about their marriage, but she is upset and he just hugs Rachel to comfort her instead.

ZAGREB, Yugoslavia -- Military leaders from secessionist Croatia and the federal army signed a new cease-fire pact that could offer new hope for peace in the republic.
Although it marked the seventh attempt at cease-fire in three months, the latest accord was seen as having a better chance because it was signed by army leaders rather than politicians.
Earlier Tuesday, the Croatian parliament voted unanimously to cut all ties with Yugoslavia, confirming the republic's declaration of independence.

ZAGREB, Yugoslavia - Croatia and Slovenia formally declared their independence yesterday and made plans for their own currencies, passports and border crossings while the Yugoslav army, after a brief lull, resumed its air and artillery assault against Croatia.
With mortar rounds falling only 12 miles south of the Croatian capital, Zagreb, the European Community last night announced that Croatia and the Serb-led Yugoslav army had signed yet another cease-fire.
Following successive Yugoslav offensives against Croatia, neither the EC nor any other Western state asked Croatia or Slovenia to extend their 90-day moratorium on independence that expired Monday.
Croatian leaders yesterday labeled the army an occupation force and demanded its complete retreat from Croatia.
The Croatian parliament's windows were broken in a blast in Zagreb's upper town Monday, and the two chambers of Parliament met at the Hotel Intercontinental aand a cafe in Zagreb before adjourning to an undisclosed location. Their vote for independence was unanimous.
"The Republic of Croatia as a sovereign and independent state cuts all links with the Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia," proclaimed Vladimir Seks, Croatia's vice president.
The lawmakers' declaration said, "The Yugoslav People's Army is proclaimed an army of occupation and an aggressor and must withdraw from the territory of Croatia." Seks appealed for international recognition, but there was no sign of any Western nation ready to take the first step.
Croatia will introduce its own currency in short order as well as passports and all the other trappings of sovereignty, including an army, according to government officials. But with a third of its territory occupied by the Yugoslav army or Serbian irregulars under army protection, it may take a few weeks. Croatia asserted control over all border posts with Slovenia and Hungary.
Slovenia, which defeated the army in a one-week battle in June, will move a good deal faster. The republic yesterday introduced the "Toler" as a temporary currency. At the United Nations in New York, Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar yesterday appointed former U.S. Secretary of State Cyrus Vance his personal envoy to Yugoslavia to help find a peaceful settlement.

The Yugoslav Wars were a series of wars, fought throughout the former Yugoslavia between 1991 and 1995. The wars were complex: characterized by bitter ethnic conflicts among the peoples of the former Yugoslavia, mostly between Serbs (and to a lesser extent, Montenegrins) on the one side and Croats and Bosniaks (and to a lesser degree, Slovenes) on the other; but also between Bosniaks and Croats in Bosnia (in addition to a separate conflict fought between rival Bosniak factions in Bosnia). The wars ended in various stages and mostly resulted in full international recognition of new sovereign territories, but with massive economic disruption to the successor states.
Often described as Europe's deadliest conflicts since World War II, the conflicts have become infamous for the war crimes involved, including mass ethnic cleansing. These were the first conflicts since World War II to be formally judged genocidal in character and many key individual participants were subsequently charged with war crimes. The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) was established by the UN to prosecute these crimes.
Although tensions in Yugoslavia had been mounting since the early 1980s, it was 1990 that proved decisive. In the midst of economic hardship, Yugoslavia was facing rising nationalism amongst its various ethnic groups. At the 14th Extraordinary Congress of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia in January 1990, the Serbian-dominated assembly agreed to abolish the single-party system; however, Slobodan Miloševic, the head of the Serbian Party branch (League of Communists of Serbia) used his influence to block and vote-down all other proposals from the Croatian and Slovene party delegates. This prompted the Croatian and Slovene delegations to walk out and thus the break-up of the party, a symbolic event representing the end of "brotherhood and unity".
According to International Center for Transitional Justice, the Yugoslav Wars resulted in deaths of 140,000 people. The Humanitarian Law Center writes that in the conflicts in former Yugoslav republics at least 130,000 people lost their lives.
