Release Date: 1 March 1991 (USA)
Plot Outline: The story of the famous and influential 1960's rock band and its lead singer and composer, Jim Morrison.
The birth place for Joseph Burgess is listed on my birth certificate, as part of my official United States federal undercover identity, as Albany, Oregon, but I am thinkin that is supposed to point to Albany, New York. I noticed that Troy, New York, is near to Albany. I remember thinking once, several years ago, that when this assignment is over, I was going to move to New York, which is a curious detail.

The precise mid-point of 3/3/1959 and the commissioning of the USS Russell DDG-59 is 4/10/1977. I assume the U.S. Navy asked me if I wanted to schedule to commissioning date of the USS Russell DDG-59 and I made calculations that point to 4/14/1977, as well as to my graduation from University of Oxford with a law degree.

I wonder if this has something to do with me breaking out of Hoa Loa Prison. I think of that every time I remember a scene from that most recent "Star Wars" movie where "Yoda," where I was reading something about a being some kind of rat creature, with green skin and pointed ears, and where he is crawling through some small space to escape something. I think that was in the last movie, which I think was in 2004.
This movie, "Lock Up" would have also been not long after I completed my escape across Africa.

I can still "remember" seeing this movie when it premiered. I thought it was going to be about the USS Arizona from Pearl Harbor, as in something about salvaging the battleship. That notion is reinforced by the initials of the star character Nicholas Cage portrays, in that HI is the postal abbreviation for Hawaii.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felony_murder
The felony murder rule is a legal doctrine current in some common law countries that broadens the crime of murder in two ways. First, when a victim dies accidentally or without specific intent in the course of an applicable felony, it increases what might have been manslaughter (or even a simple tort) to murder. Second, it makes any participant in such a felony criminally responsible for any deaths that occur during or in furtherance of that felony. While there is some debate about the original scope of the rule, modern interpretations typically require that the felony be an obviously dangerous one, or one committed in an obviously dangerous manner. For this reason, the felony murder rule is often justified as a means of deterring dangerous felonies.
According to most commentators, the common law rule dates to the twelfth century and took its modern form in the eighteenth century [citation needed]. Because the rule requires no intent to kill, or even to do bodily harm, it has been criticized as unjust [citation needed]. Accordingly, it was abolished in the United Kingdom in 1957 by the Homicide Act of 1957. In some jurisdictions (such as Victoria, Australia), the common law felony-murder rule has been abolished but replaced by a similar statutory provision. [1]
The concept of felony murder originates in the rule of transferred intent, which is older than the limit of legal memory. In its original form, the malicious intent inherent in the commission of any crime, however trivial, was considered to apply to any consequences of that crime, however unintended. Thus, in a classic example, a poacher shoots his arrow at a deer, and hits a boy who was hiding in the bushes. Although he intended no harm to the boy, and did not even suspect his presence, the mens rea of the poaching is transferred to the actus reus of the killing.
Some commentators regard this as a legal fiction whereby the law pretends that the person who intended one wrongful act, also intends all the consequences of that act, however unforeseen. Others regard it as an example of strict liability, whereby a person who chooses to commit a crime is considered absolutely responsible for all the possible consequences of that action. Lord Mustill regards the historical rule as a convergence of these views
However, the actual situation is not as clear-cut as the above summary implies. In reality, not all felonious actions will apply in most jurisdictions. To "qualify" for the felony murder rule, the felony must present a foreseeable danger to life, and the link between the underlying felony and the death must not be too remote. If the receiver of a forged check has a fatal allergic reaction to the ink, most courts will not hold the forger guilty of murder. Furthermore, the merger doctrine excludes felonies that are presupposed by a murder charge. For example, nearly all murders involve some type of assault, but so do many cases of manslaughter. To count any death that occurred during the course of an assault as felony murder would obliterate a distinction carefully set by the legislature; however, merger may not apply when an assault against one person results in the death of another[2].
To counter the common law style interpretations of what does and does not merge with murder (and thus what does not and does qualify for felony murder), many jurisdictions in the United States explicitly list what offenses qualify. The American Law Institute's Model Penal Code lists robbery, rape or forcible deviant sexual intercourse, arson, burglary, kidnapping, and felonious escape. Federal law specifies additional crimes, including terrorism and carjacking.
There are two schools of thought concerning whose actions can cause the defendant to be guilty of felony murder. Jurisdictions that hold to the agency theory admit only deaths caused by the agents of the crime. Jurisdictions that use the proximate cause theory include any death, even if caused by a bystander or the police, provided that it meets one of several proximate cause tests to determine if the chain of events between the felony and the death was short enough to have legally caused the death.
Felony murder is typically the same grade of murder as premeditated murder. In many jurisdictions, felony murder is a crime for which the death penalty can be imposed, provided that the defendant himself killed, attempted to kill, or intended to kill. For example, three people conspired to commit armed robbery. Two of them went in to the house and committed the robbery, and in the process killed the occupants of the house. The third person sat outside in the getaway car, and he was later convicted of felony murder.

I puzzled over why my first manager at Microsoft, when I was there working undercover with my official United States federal undercover identity, thought a reference I made to "Yoda" was so funny. I puzzled over why she thought it was so funny. That was the manager who reminded me of that actress who portrays "Captain Janeway" and it was that manager who asked me something about "going on a jihad," back in 1999, and also refered to me as "her hitman."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoda
Yoda is a fictional character from the Star Wars universe, who appears in all of the franchise's films except for Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Frank Oz provided Yoda's voice in each film, and lent his skills as a puppeteer in the original trilogy and The Phantom Menace. For the radio dramatizations of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, Yoda was voiced by Frank Oz, while Tom Kane voiced him in the Clone Wars animated series and several video games. As with many names in Star Wars, the name "Yoda" may have been etymologically derived from an ancient language – in this case, possibly from the Sanskrit noun yoddha ("warrior"), or from the Hebrew verb yodea ("knows")[citation needed].
Yoda first appears in the saga in The Empire Strikes Back as a mysterious and whimsical little creature who, as a Jedi Master, teaches ancient Jedi philosophies and wisdom to Luke Skywalker. In the prequel trilogy, he serves as Grand Master of the Jedi Order. Additional fiction in the Expanded Universe fills in more details of his life.

United States Navy SEALs
The United States Navy Sea, Air and Land (SEAL) forces are the Special Operations Forces of the U.S. Navy, employed in unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, direct action, Counter-Terrorism, hostage rescue, and special reconnaissance operations.
Those qualified to become Navy SEALs are authorized, after completing Basic Underwater Demolition SEAL school (BUD/S) and a specialized program known as SQT (SEAL Qualification Training), to wear and display the Special Warfare Badge, also known as the SEAL Trident. This badge serves as the insignia for the SEALs as a whole and is one of the most recognizable warfare insignia among U.S. Special Operations Forces. It is usually worn along with the U.S. Navy paratrooper wings, which are awarded after 10 jumps. In order to blend in with units they are supporting, Navy SEALS wear modified versions of all service Battle Dress Uniforms (BDUs). However, during the Vietnam War, SEAL members wore 'tiger stripe' camouflage uniforms, often with civilian blue jeans and 'coral' sneakers, for patrol missions.
SEAL ethics
The SEAL code
"Loyalty to Country, Team and Teammate Serve with Honor and Integrity On and Off the Battlefield, Ready to Lead, Ready to Follow, Never Quit, Take responsibility for your actions and the actions of your teammates, Excel as Warriors through Discipline and Innovation, Train for War, Fight to Win, Defeat our Nation’s Enemies, Earn your Trident everyday."
SEAL creed
"In times of war or uncertainty there is a special breed of warrior ready to answer our Nation’s call. A common man with uncommon desire to succeed. Forged by adversity, he stands alongside America’s finest special operations forces to serve his country, the American people, and protect their way of life. I am that man.
My Trident is a symbol of honor and heritage. Bestowed upon me by the heroes that have gone before, it embodies the trust of those I have sworn to protect. By wearing the Trident I accept the responsibility of my chosen profession and way of life. It is a privilege that I must earn every day.
My loyalty to Country and Team is beyond reproach. I humbly serve as a guardian to my fellow Americans always ready to defend those who are unable to defend themselves. I do not advertise the nature of my work, nor seek recognition for my actions. I voluntarily accept the inherent hazards of my profession, placing the welfare and security of others before my own.
I serve with honor on and off the battlefield. The ability to control my emotions and my actions, regardless of circumstance, sets me apart from other men. Uncompromising integrity is my standard. My character and honor are steadfast. My word is my bond.
We expect to lead and be led. In the absence of orders I will take charge, lead my teammates and accomplish the mission. I lead by example in all situations.
I will never quit. I persevere and thrive on adversity. My Nation expects me to be physically harder and mentally stronger than my enemies. If knocked down, I will get back up, every time. I will draw on every remaining ounce of strength to protect my teammates and to accomplish our mission. I am never out of the fight.
We demand discipline. We expect innovation. The lives of my teammates and the success of our mission depend on me - my technical skill, tactical proficiency, and attention to detail. My training is never complete.
We train for war and fight to win. I stand ready to bring the full spectrum of combat power to bear in order to achieve my mission and the goals established by my country. The execution of my duties will be swift and violent when required yet guided by the very principles that I serve to defend.
Brave men have fought and died building the proud tradition and feared reputation that I am bound to uphold. In the worst of conditions, the legacy of my teammates steadies my resolve and silently guides my every deed. I will not fail."
