Rodman E. "Rod" Serling (December 25, 1924 – June 28, 1975) was an American screenwriter, playwright, television producer, and narrator best known for his live television dramas of the 1950s and his science fiction anthology TV series, The Twilight Zone. Serling was active in politics, both on and off the screen, and helped form television industry standards. He was known as the "angry young man" of Hollywood, clashing with television executives and sponsors over a wide range of issues

He wanted to leave school before graduation to join the fight, but his civics teacher talked him into graduating. "War is a temporary thing," Gus Youngstrom told him. "It ends. An education doesn't. HAPPY PANTHERPALOOZA DAY!!! Remember, tonight's event is at Zapata's in downtown Texarkana (217 Walnut). We will have free chips, salsa, queso and appetizers for all. You will be responsible for your beverages and entrees. An after party MAY happen after Zapata's, but will be played by ear. Saturday night's event is at Texarkana Country Club. We begin at 8:00pm with a short program/awards/video/eating/drinking.....then the Robert St. John Band will start rocking the house at 9:00, playing all our favorite 80s tunes so we can dance the night away! (Wear whatever makes you comfortable!) After your 1-2 free drinks, the bar is CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS ONLY...NO CASH!! We will also have free keg beer! Can't wait to see everyone.....please drive safely from wherever you may be coming!
